It’s been a year and I barely consider myself functional. It’s going to be a journey.

You have no idea how many women will use the fact that you abandoned your family and the marital home and now she is the sole caretaker of your child. Easy way to get fucked.

Every woman calls her ex husband an abusive narcissistic, don’t take it personally. You’ll hear this a lot as you’re dating, good luck!

As a service member you’re legally protected by the SCRA which means any legal proceedings must wait until you get back, including the divorce proceedings. But as always, get a lawyer.

It was monthly needs worksheet. I filled it out pretty conservatively but my attorney bumped out expenses like pet costs, clothes, eating out.. just random shit

A man divorcing his wife is abandonment. A woman divorcing her husband is “empowerment”.

Sorry, let me explain.. Anything you give her won’t be considered for future payments, even if it’s in excess of what you are ordered to pay after the fact. Basically whatever you give her is GONE. There is no credit, no paybacks, no breaks.

I hate to say it... But my divorce was the catalyst to be the best father I could be. I feel like I have truly stepped up and I’ve noticed a huge change in my boys. I’m proud who I am now. It’s unfortunate that it took such a drastic change to make me realize that I could have always done better.

She contacted my command (military) and told them a bunch of lies that she knew would get me into trouble under the UCMJ. After clearing my name through a fact finding investigation, they told her to kick rocks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
