Pissed off with lifeI am also 2 years in, and HOPING I get an equity payout. I think the only thing I can say is the boundaries are key, and if you ever find yourself thinking that by bending or compromising on those boundaries she will reciprocate I can tell you that you are most likely wrong. Stick to your boundaries and don’t ever compromise. Hang in there, I hope you find some peace soon. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/07/26 11:18 PM
Paid my lawyer $1,800 to compare two custody proposals. Built the tool I wish I'd had.A good way I look at this with AI is trust but verify. I have ai review docs, emails and come up with legally acceptable responses to my ex relative to its knowledge of the law and what my orders say. It’s been invaluable, however I still use my attorney for the “verify” part and to perform the procedural things like submitting evidence, and of course real in person trial work. I don’t think I could have crossed examined my ex with just ai prompts. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/26 05:38 PM

Self Representing Divorce case using AI..Anyone??Dude, no. Just no, there is no ai model out there I would trust especially if you have to go to trial. Get an attorney. I used AI a lot to look things up, digest the legal documents I had to fill out. It’s great at calculating financials, and coming up with potential outcomes, ie spousal support and asset division predictions etc. it should in no way be used in place of an attorney. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/07/26 08:04 PM
It is so hard to be the asshole...And she knows that. She’s just a stranger now, each day it’ll get easier. If your support orders require paying half of expenses for kids etc, keep a ledger going. AI is a great tool for that. Hold your ground. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/07/26 01:28 AM
Does it ever feel better? It gets so much better. The common thread I see in these comments is take care of yourself first and I couldn’t agree more. When you take care of yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually good things will find you. My ex introduced a new man to my daughter 2 months into separation. I knew the guy, hadn’t talked to him in years but yet here he was, fucking my ex in my house I’m paying for and now hanging out with my daughter. It hurts. But I found myself over time, quit drinking, lost arou… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 03:55 AM
