Wow, man. I wish I knew what you did at that age. I'm not much older (21), but I feel like having that tidbit under my belt early on could have changed things in in a big way. Awesome stuff.

This is a REALLY good point, that shouldn't be overlooked. I'm a big believer in "fake it till you make it", which is, arguably, the opposite of being true to yourself. Embrace change, embrace self-improvement!

Best answer. I know it might seem awkward at first, but people are generally really cool about it. I club pretty regularly, and a few weeks back a bunch of my friends ended up being unable to go at the last minute. I just picked a group I thought looked like they were having a good time, and started talking to them. You can open with literally anything. Ask for a drink recommendation, comment about the music, whatever. If you can get over the AA that comes with approaching groups, this can be HU…

It's like a boner all over my body. Your writing style is fantastic. I hope you continue to write FRs for a long time :]

Damn.. that's awesome. I'm 6'0", started around 128, at like 135 now lol. Any tips for bulking up as a little guy?

So important. I actually didn't do this at first because I felt like this would be "surrendering" (I still wanted to be the 120 lb kid scoring mad laydeeezzz). Been going pretty regularly since the beginning of this year, and it's great.

This is a question for those who started as a complete social anxiety wreck and progress to the point where they see themselves has very successful. Due to how you were built, you had every right to fail socially but you taught yourself pull it off. Started: Homeschooled throughout middle/high school, nerdy, short till I was 16. LTR from 16-18 with no sex, messed with me a little bit. (Maybe not a total social wreck, but not good socially. Nervous, awkward, jumpy around the opposite sex.) Now: 2…

The successes outweigh the failures 1000/1. I'm no master pua or something, but I consider myself to have strong inner game, and I'm very proud of the women I've been with. I've also been rejected plenty of times. After your first couple successes, you give less of a shit about the failures. The whole thing becomes about fun rather than picking up girls, or getting laid, or anything else. For context: I'm about the same as you in a few ways. 6 foot, gym 3-5 times a week, DJing, reasonably well d…

Awesome question. I'm at a similar point in my life (21), except I'm already doing the 9-5 thing, and college is on the horizon. Context for where I'm coming from, life wise: I make a reasonable amount of money enough to live comfortably in my apartment, dress myself well, and have enough left over for hobbies, fun money, partying, gaming, etc. I lived that life for a while, but then realized changes needed to be made. I got into the seduction community because of inner game. I noticed really qu…

You've got this, dude. I have full confidence that things are gonna work out. There are so many people in your shoes who have simply given up. An Asperger's diagnosis would come as a blessing, because then they have an excuse. Fuck that noise. You are a testament to our ability as a species to overcome obstacles. You are the result of 4 billion years of evolutionary success, and you are acting like it.

Haha, thanks man. I'm really glad you got this. I sort of thought when posting it that the thread had gotten too big.

I feel that I posess those qualities as well. To me, it's a source of confidence. Being rational is a really powerful quality. Add humility, introspection, and most importantly, willpower to the mix, and you've got a golden-path for self improvement. That doesn't really answer your question, though. I know what you mean when you're talking about that bit of "swagger". I think it comes from a different place for different people. Step one is finding out what puts you in that state, and then just …

You're very good at answering questions that could come off as insulting, without being condescending, or trying to assert yourself as something more than you are. That's a really good trait. Good on you.

I have a really similar build (5'11" lb). I've found that a lot of the extra small shirts at Express fit me really well. They have a ton of different shirt sizes and styles (I wear Extra Small Extra Slim). It's definitely a bit on the pricey side, but it might be worth checking out.

You do understand why this is a fallacy, right? The example given was 2 DIFFERENT lifestyles (Married life VS Single life). Those are two completely different things, that make different people happy. The "Making 2million/year VS 150K/year" is not the same comparison, as there are clearly no benefits to less money, whereas married life provides you with a family, a better, more meaningful connection to one person (Hopefully, if you're marrying them), etc. After re-reading your post, I'm realizin…

I think it should be used as an addition to "normal" game. The problem with text game, in my eyes, is that people use it as a replacement for a real interaction. As long as that isn't happening, I think it's fine.

Or I really need to take a look at my beliefs? I am pretty sure I'd help any one in need but all in all I am a pretty cocky guy other wise. No intentions in offending anyone but this is how I am sub conciously. I think you need to exmaine why you're acting like this. I, personally, think it's totally normal for guys to trash eachother/bust each other's balls, in a joking manner. My relationships with most of my close male friends consist of this, it's kind of just a thing dudes do (in my experie…

I'd say (depending on your relationship with AFC), either try to arrange a date where it's just the two of you (You and the girl), or talk to AFC. Don't ask for his permission to hit on her or something, just let him know that you're interested in this girl, and see where it goes from there.

Thank you seddit, you've taken an absolute Beta and brought him to lesser Alpha status for now. I'll take over from here on out though it's time for me to be a real Alpha all the time. Seddit gave you the tools, but you put the work in. Good on you, friend!

Totally agreed. I think the other thing is, the more text game becomes accepted, it just gives people another reason to not actually go approach.

Play "go" Rules are simple, either of you can point to a girl and tell the other "go". If you are told "go", you have to approach IMMEDIATELY. No time to think of openers, wait for her to get off her phone, etc. If you don't approach, you have to do ten pushups wherever you are (Or whatever other penalty, this is just the one I use). This makes it more of a game, and can do wonders for AA.

Awesome hangout/date spots: Aquarium Zoo Coffee Shop/Hookah Lounge Ice Skating (if this is possible in your area) Minigolf Laser Tag Dancing (Take a salsa or swing lesson together. Instant Kino) Also, in reply to this bit: "...but she also recently got out of a relationship so she's probably not looking for anything serious" Do yourself a favor and CONFIRM THAT. Don't make it some big awkward thing, just make sure she knows that you're not looking for a relationship. A lot of guys are scared to …

This is going to happen with any change. You have to find sort of a middleground on how you view criticism, definitely don't ignore it entirely, as sometimes people might bring your bad qualities to your attention, thus allowing you to change them/improve yourself. On the other hand, you also don't want to let other people control who you are, and who you become. Ultimately, you just have to stay true to yourself. I don't know your friend, and I don't want to try to imply any sort of malicious a…

I should open by saying that I do not consider myself to be a PUA, nor did I get involved in this community to become one (Partially because I hate the term, and the stigma that goes along with it.) With that in mind, I do believe I've changed, in positive ways, as a result of the things I've read on here. It's mostly a confidence thing, asking for what you want. The whole idea of "assuming attraction" works in more fields than just dealing with the opposite sex. I'd say "Assuming success" is mo…

Strange story. I feel like many guys wouldn't even try to hit on a girl like that. Kinda sounds like her whole deal was some kind of front. Who knows.

Can't agree more with this. If you simply focus on self improvement, a ton of the other stuff just falls into place.

Not a terrible thing. Might open your mind more to the fact that a guy and a girl being together doesn't neccesarily mean they're dating (Many won't approach women when they are with guys). Also, generally speaking, talking to people is good practice, doesn't matter if you're talking to a couple. Make friends :D

Sure, you might, we all have. It's just part of the learning experience. I know it sucks ass to make a fool out of yourself, but seriously, this stuff works. I'm not talking about just copying what OP did, though I'm sure that'd get you somewhere. I mean just approaching. Once you're out of your own head, and really don't care about the outcome, the rest will just fall into place. Four years ago I was the literal definition of SAP. I'm now known among my social circle for being confident, outgoi…

Excellent thread! I work at a CAD Software developement company and I've found it's actually not hard to make it at least.. somewhat interesting. Rather than saying "Yeah we build CAD software, so people can build buildings and shit.". I like to explain it more like how I see it: "I give artists the tools they need to put what is in their brain, onto a computer, to eventually reach the real world. Highway systems, skyscrapers, etc. The stuff I make helps people bring their visions into reality."…
