That makes sense. How would you suggest modifying that general 'template' in order to make it more sexual and less of a 'boyfriend audition'?

I appreciate the support, guys. Unfortunately it seems that that wasn't the case. I added an update at the end of the original post.

Why is a wingman essential? The vast majority of my successes have happened while I'm out solo.

The general answer is daygame and coffee shops, but I'm interested I hearing other ideas.

This is particularly relevant to me because I live in a fairly small town and generally have to drive to one of two nearby cities to meet women (35 minutes away and 1 hour away, respectively), so most of my dates are at least 35 minutes away from my place, but fairly close to her place. I generally shoot for having a good first date and inviting her over to my place for a second date, with the idea that after a good first date she'll be invested enough to drive 35+ minutes, whereas she might not…

My favorite is something that I got from Mark Manson. When you run out of situational things to say, rather than going into interview mode, simply ask her "So what's your favorite thing in the world?" If they don't have an answer, then chances are good that she's simply a boring person, in which case you can continue at your own risk, or decide then and there that you're not interested. If she does have an answer and it's something you're interested in, then you can use this opportunity to get h…

There's nothing at all wrong with having a girlfriend if you find a girl that's worth your time.

I usually get no response to this :-/

I have this issue as well. My take would be that she's not that interested, and I'd consider the Brad Pitt rule. I'd be interested in hearing other thoughts on this, though, as I'd love to be able to salvage this kind of situation.

That's an interesting insight - I had never thought of it like that. I'll try that for a while to see if I get better results. Thanks, man.

That's interesting. I never thought of intentionally not asking a question. I had always heard/read that you want to ask a simple question or two about something on their profile in order to give them something to say. In other words, to ask a question so that they don't have to look for something to say, effectively making it less work on her. What are your thoughts on that?

Would you care to share the style that you get better success with? I generally find 2 or 3 things in their profile to comment on, but take care not to write too much. If I can't find anything in their profile worth commenting on, I usually move on and don't bother.

That kind of thinking won't do much good for your inner game. Plus, I personally think it's much more alpha to pick up via approach than by OKC anyway. When you approach, they're deciding based on your mannerisms, appearance, words, etc, rather than looking at a small thumbnail picture to decide whether they even want to open your message, let alone respond. As far as daygame, I definitely agree. With both night game and online game, the women are constantly showered with attention. However, wit…

Yeah that sounds about right. Online dating is definitely a buyer's market for females. I used to see online dating as a way to skirt the issue of running out of things to say fairly quickly with cold approaches, but now I think I need to just confront the issue head on. Don't run into the mistake of using online dating as a way around effectively learning how to get good at approaches.

I've gotten a few fuckbuddies over the years via OKC, but the response rate is pretty ridiculous. I generally have to send a large volume of messages just to get one or two responses. I've recently become more and more of the opinion that it's a waste of time, and that I'd rather be out approaching women in person so that I can at least get a feel of what I might be doing wrong and what my sticking points are, rather than sending message after message, most of which get no response, with no feed…

I like a quote that I got from Sasha Daygame - "Become your best self". Being alpha and being yourself aren't mutually exclusive. You have to find the "alpha" that works best for you.

You've got to get out there and try over and over again. At first the rejection will sting like a bitch, but it hurts less and less with each time.

That was brilliant. On a side note, I also showed it to a lady and she said it was "accurate as hell"

I've no idea. I just read somewhere that it was beta because it's so common. Particularly "Do you come here often". If seddit doesn't consider it beta, then I've no problem with using it.

This is highly relevant to me. Thank you.

This. Unless we instantly click, I can't think of what to say without responding to beta things like "Do you come here often" or "what do you do in your free time"?

The main problem is that at most metal shows, they're usually all with a boyfriend. You'll have better luck at more melodic or slightly more mainstream (ex killswitch engage) metal shows
/r/seduction08/12/12 04:51 AM

I always have MUCH better luck at metal shows than anywhere else. The bitch shield generally isn't as high, plus you know you already have something in common with them. The one thing you should keep in mind, though, is to make sure she knows you're hitting on her - make sure you set the sexual frame. It's much more important here, because people frequently socialize platonically and make friends at concerts, so it might not be as obvious
/r/seduction08/12/12 04:40 AM

This. It depends on the band. More melodic and/or mainstream shows usually have more solo chicks, but it's still not a lot.
/r/seduction08/12/12 04:30 AM

I fucked up because I made the decision from a position of weakness, rather than rational decision-making. At the time I preferred to give up my own freedom rather than to know that she's being bent over by other dudes. Now I want to see other people, but apart from that there's no reason to stop seeing her. I could always see other people and not tell her, but that goes against my personal values, so even if she never found out I couldn't respect myself.
