For instance, I live in the buckle of the Bible Belt. I've noticed a few trends over time, but not having lived elsewhere, I'm not sure if it's the same elsewhere, a problem with my game, or due to regional differences.
For example:
-I've noticed that many of the younger (IE college-aged) women around here have only really experienced monogamous relationships, and thus until I clarify otherwise they assume that that's what I'm after, in spite of me not doing boyfriend things (holding hands, dinner dates, etc).
-Some (but not all) of the women that I've gone out with expect the guy to pay for dinner, etc. I've never had one make a fuss about me suggesting that we split it, and some suggest splitting it before I even get to it, but I've had a few women look at me with clear disdain when I suggest splitting the check, as if they clearly expected me to pay for the whole thing due to an unwritten cultural rule.
-I know that the official word on text game is to text only to meet up, but I've actually noticed that I have better results when I text a bit back and forth occasionally and flirt over text (or FB messages, as is my preference due to a shitty phone), rather than simply asking them on a date after the first 2 or 3 messages. My assumption is that this might be because AFCs around here text all the time, so the women assume that I'm not interested and move on when they're surrounded by guys texting them, but I'm not one of them.
Those are just a few of the things I've noticed, though I'm not sure whether to attribute them to regional differences, bad game on my part, etc. Have you guys noticed similar things, or differences in behavioral patterns or necessary tactics depending on where you are?
