I disagree that men have the same problem. I've been unlucky in the men I meet. It may be due to your location? Or places you have male interaction? Job? Women say interesting things out of rationalizations. Sometimes it seems brilliant, other times it's utterly stupid. Men too

If it was a school problem then it wouldn't persist outside of school like it does and men would have the same problem. What we are taught in school effects how we act outside of school. Children are very impressionable. Men do have the same problem.
