"Headed to lunch to try to enlighten him, wish me luck." Don't waste your time. I have found that friends will not embrace MGTOW like you and I have. They might google what it means, but that is about it. You just have to drop little hints when they bring up stupid shit like having a man cave, or when they bitch about all the child support they are paying. Whenever a buddy sends me the text, "We are getting divorced." I reply with "MGTOW"

You had me going there. Fuck man caves. I had to listen to married co-workers talk about their man caves being taken over by their wives and daughters. I just laughed. Simps

Eat a fucking cow, start lifting weights, and watch the gainz come in. Joking a little, but serioulsy fitness translates into so many other areas of life. Everyone needs strength. Strong people are harder to kill. - Mark Rippetoe

Wow - Thank you. I needed that badly. The pain of discipline to leave now, or the pain of regret to waste my time in the situation. I think Tony Robbins coined the pain of disciple vs pain of regret phrase.

Thanks man. And I know she can smell it. She has been fucking my brains out like never before. That is her way to try and keep me around. Since she has dated me, my income has almost doubled. She knows there is security if she could get me to settle down. Settle down - fuck that noise.

Super important topic that every man who is considering going complete "ghost" needs to contemplate. Super important topic for any guy basically. It's easy to find good bro's, but a lot harder to keep a friendship going. I can confirm that volunteering is a great way to meet people. I volunteer at a bbq and beer event and one of Minneapolis's biggest summer music events. Meet tons of people and get to attend the event for free. You can find a woman anywhere, but good guy friends are hard to come…

Man has it changed. I was previously paying around 200-300 extra towards debt after all my bills were paid. Now I am saving around 1,225 extra a month and have paid off 2 credit cards. All because I told my gf that I am not taking her out as much as we used to. I also used to cohabitate. This week I moved into my own place. I fucking love it. My gf has been hating every moment of it and thinks we are moving backwards. I have no problem with that. I also put up with way less of her shit, cause I …

Which one of his wives? Have you read the Hadith? Cause you should if you are even dabbling with the idea of Islam. Personally, religions are bullshit and offer a sense of security in an existence that doesn't allows seem secure. And Islam for one is fucking out of control. Unless moderate Muslims start getting loud and stop apologizing for the minority(extremists) that ruin the name of Islam shit is just going to get worse in the Western world.

It drops at a different time for all guys. At 36, this is the first year I have noticed a slightly lower sex drive than the previous 5-7 years. But not much lower. This is doubly good if you are into women. - Around 36 most men are at the peak of their sexual market value - Since my libido is falling I care less about women Women see the lack of interest as a challenge, and I am at my peak. Bonus for me.

36m - This is the first year I have noticed I care less about sex. Now this could be cause I found MGTOW this year, but I don't think MGTOW can override primal sex drive. It's most likely lower testosterone in my body. The cool thing though is that I am at the peak of my sexual market value at 36, and it very slowly declines from here. SLOWLY. Unlike the plunge women go through. I can feel I am at the peak. I am an average looking guy, but I am in good shape for a 36 year old. I have no problem …

So for example, I am committed to what im currently doing, but completely unattached to all outcomes. Which means I do not get emotional and upset about it. I just go with the flow. Sign me up. Regular IT bloke. Had a dead marriage; had sex once in the last 9 months, 5 times in the last 18 months leading up to it; wife getting fatter by the month; cute girl at bar actually listens to me like she gives a shit; fucked cute girl a few weeks after meeting her. That was the groundwork. I don't excuse myself. That just puts it in perspective. I should have just told my exwife I was not happy and wanted out.

Bro, you get to determine what full MGTOW is. I consider myself MGTOW, but I don't hate women. I know they are resource-leeches, but I don't hate them. I sort of subscribe to Leykis 101. Pump and dump, never cohabitate.

So true. The day my ex and I decided to divorce, I was devastated. But I took a picture of my miserable self, and told myself this is the worst it will be. Everyday will get better. I also said, I can let this healing process take 6 months or 6 weeks. I got into therapy and that sped it up. I still look at the picture about once a year.

"So many young men are going to live the majority of their lives being single" This is when you get strong. There is nothing that builds more character and individualism than learning to live on your own, and learning to enjoy yourself by yourself. Couple that withy strong, male friendship and you got it made. Those two things will get you through some of your darkest days in life. Stop making excuses.

My problem is being antisocial outside of work. At work, I have friends and joke around a lot. At home I like to read, workout, cook, and play occasional video games. So to stay social, if I read, I go to a coffee shop. I am there to read, but if a conversation starts I run with it. Get out of the house, expand your route, linger in public, test for interest. We live in the age of social media, and we all know how much women love to show off, and are all about status. Traveling is just another way for them to show off. My answer is the same everytime this is asked. Waaaay more money in my account. No more taking her out 2-3 times a week. No more flowers. No more tickets for the play or concerts. Fuck all that noise. If I was still in a relationship I would not be out of debt for another 3 years at least. With the amount I am able to save now I will be out of debt in 10 months.

Why are you taking roids when SARMS are legal and do the same thing without all the anabolic side effects like man-tits, shriveled balls, etc. They do slowly lower your T count, but that is why you cycle off them every 30 days for 30 days. Look up SARMs.

The thing that is holding you back is that the military is something you haven't experienced yet - an unknown. We as humans don't like unknowns. Your feeling is normal. The military is a fine option. And you don't join up and immediately go Ranger. You would join with a certain MOS(job), and then you can try out for Ranger school at any time. I did 9 years and don't regret anything except all the lines we had to stand in and waiting around we had to do. Met lifelong friends and got a good wage. …

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line"! Hahahahahahahahahah hahahaha

I also read that before I went on my trip, but I did not feel unsafe at anytime. I visited 3 different islands too. Now I am not a dumbass, and did not go out at night into sketch neighborhoods.

I will check out that book for sure. Chris Guillebeau has some other really good books also on side hustles, but that one is pretty solid and seems to get my idea brain going.

Greneda or Belize for the cheap living. Not sure about prostitution. Stay away from the US Virgin Islands. Just got back a week ago. Common goods and groceries are 1.5-2 times more expensive down there. Booze is pretty cheap though. :)

Right there with ya on the failures and modest success in my own biz. I was trying to run my catering company while working 4o hours a week in IT. Burnt out quick. A great book I am reading for the second time is Born for This by Chris Guillebeau. A killer resource and idea book for creating a side hustle while working full time. It got my mind back in the right place and I have a few things cooking right now while still working 40 in IT. Best of luck bro.

Well, it's a pleasant way to break up. She is a decent girl and maybe we'll come back around, but I need more of my own time and space right now and want to go do my own shit without having to think about the care of another person. I have solo and group camping trips coming up, PADI certified in scuba, I want to take a shit with the door open, and the big reason is that I want to reduce my expenses so I can get the fuck out of debt asap - our apartment is very nice...and very expensive. All thi…

I tried ghosting to the end of our lease. I ended up hating myself. I felt like I was being such a fake and she deserved to not be blindsided when it came time to renew the lease. Food for thought.

I was in the same spot. I just told her I don't feel this as a long term thing. She agreed. We still live together and fuck, but we are both getting our own place when the lease is up. BUT I would not expect this rational behavior out of 80% of women. Have you looked into what it takes to get out of your lease? Start there.

I was in the Army for nine years. I would say at that time I was overall pretty lazy, but your job is to do shit when you are in the Army so you do it. You don't go to your day job and start napping. What are you procrastinating? Don't try to become a black belt in productivity tomorrow. Start by doing something small in the morning for 7 days. Make your bed if you don't, or prep your coffeepot the night before for 7 days, or take a 10 min walk in the morning for 7 days. The idea is to build pro…

Honestly. You could replace MGTOW in your phrase with Addiction. Cause blue pill is an addiction.
/r/MGTOW31/01/17 11:17 PM

I have a separate account for MGTOW, but in real life if I hear women or men talking stupid blue pill, beta, feminist nonsense I usually say something. Something completely logical that is. I drop my bombs and then leave the conversation.
/r/MGTOW31/01/17 11:16 PM

I hear ya man. My ex-wife was a NAWALT when it came to the divorce, not only in the divorce. She said, "let's keep this civil, I don't want anything from you, just split the attorney and legal fees to get the divorce decree with me" That, my friend, is a extremely rare case and I am eternally grateful I did not get raked over the coals.
/r/MGTOW31/01/17 05:04 AM

Yes. I don't take my gf out to dinner any more or buy flowers or any gifts. In the 4 weeks since going mgtow my account is incredibly higher than ever before. That is just 4 weeks homey. That tells me that I spent way too much money on her. And for what? It didn't make her happier to be with me. Quite the opposite. And now that I stopped she surprisingly wants to have way more sex.
/r/MGTOW31/01/17 12:20 AM

Almost nothing. Seriously. Once in a while she will take me to a movie or out to eat, but I think this will stop soon because I don't buy her shit or take her out to eat any longer.

/r/MGTOW28/01/17 12:19 AM

To me it is waking up. It's the answer to stuff I have been pondering for some time like "why does my gf expect me to pay for all of our nights out", why did I move in with my gf when her top reason was so she didn't have to pay as much rent, etc. It is purely waking up.

Before my gf I used to lift like a beast, was fairly good with my diet, used to journal every night, and meditate in the morning. Once we got a place together I stopped lifting as frequently, we went out to eat more, I stopped joirnalling and meditating, and I gained about 15lbs of fat. Not her fault, it's the by-product of cohabitation. Don't do it.

Being a chef is a fucking grind man. All the Gordan Ramsay shows make it look cool. It's hours on your feet cooking for folks who will not see your or tell you if they liked it or not. The thing I liked about catering weddings and graduations was at least they would be able to tell you your food was amazing. But it is still a grind. Most people don't understand how much planning and work goes into cooking for anything over 50 people.

I was peacefully reading my book today. Girlfriend comes home with groceries and asks if I am going to make breakfast. Ummm, no. I was intermittent fasting until 1pm. What followed was the classic passive aggressive, huffing and puffing, stomping around. When asked what was wrong...."I'm fine."
/r/MGTOW25/01/17 01:01 AM

Same here man. Even went so far to start a BBQ catering biz and ran it for 2 years. When I go grocery shopping and see a guy with a cart full of frozen dinners and pizza's my heart weeps. For me that is a liberating feeling. Knowing that I will not get the empathy and care that I once want forces me to live never expecting that. And that makes me feel like a badass. I walk so much taller since finding MGTOW. Knowing I don't need anyone else to make it is one of the most powerful feelings in the world. In addition to being celibate, you should turn off all mainstream media. NPR, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, Bloomberg, etc. Your question wreaks of having listened to them a lot lately. The shit is 97.5% bullshit or negative. Study MGTOW

Stephen Ambrose writes some solid books too. I read most of "Undaunting Courage" about Louis and Clark expedition. And read all of "Nothing like it in the World" about the building of the transcontinental railroad.

I lost respect for him after he was a little bitch on Bill Mahrer's show. Sam Harris explains things so clearly, yet Ben was already triggered and could not understand facts without emotion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vln9D81eO60 Yeah, I know this has nothing to do with the movie, but it's my opinion.

Let it grow and see how you feel about it. Simple solution. Like it - keep growing. Don't like it - cut it Also, I am balding, so I use a #1 attachment on my Wahl trimmer every 10 days. Pro tip: If you are already 25% balding, cut it short. It looks better. But MGTOW, so do whatever you want. :)

Esther Perel talks about this in depth. When the baby is young the mom is breast feeding, giving the child attention all day, feeling the babies soft skin, etc. This leads to the woman feeling physically and emotionally satisfied, because the baby needs the moms attention and it just feeds into the female psyche.

And guess what that proves about the guys being happy or the marriages being equal? NOT A DAMN THING. My aunt and uncle have been married for 30 years, but she runs the show and he is one of the most soft spoken, woman whipped guys I ever met. Freaking love him and he is cool, but I know he died inside a looong time ago. My aunt even tells stories about all the shit he does and did throughout their marriage. Went through the same thing. Not that this is the prescription that will remove the feelings, but I started lifting weights and chatting with people at the gym. I started to go to bar bingo by myself and made it a point to sit next to someone every time. At festivals and events I would get social with strangers. And this all comes from a dude who used to get "heart attack like" panic attacks from social situations. I used to have to down 3 beers before going anywhere when I was in my mid 20's. A…

Love hearing this man. I am 36 and make almost 90k . I am a pretty frugal guy - shop at Aldi, have had the same 3 pairs of gym shorts for the last few years, and drive a 2002 Astro Van with 178k on it. This year I will be out of debt and start saving for my first investment property. I plan on getting a few of those, and then maybe get a small apartment building. The way I see it is that I am just enjoying myself, reading, lifting weights, working, learning new hobbies...until all my bro's get divorced. And I will be there to let them know how good it is. Honestly, if you really think you will get lonely you may have some self esteem issues to work on. Going MGTOW will take care of those issues. And lastly, alone does not equal lonely.

its just easier to go along with it, when she's angry then I gotta live with an angry women for days That is one thing that is fucked up about women. The two vacations I already went on with her - she got mad on both of them and it lasted 2-3 days. Ruined the latter half of both trips for me. Guys, we get angry, we vent, we get over it. Most of the time that all happens in less than an hour. Even before we got a place together, I was telling myself that I need more time on my own. Fuck, I should…

I really can't answer that. She never cleans, rarely cooks, and when I ask for a blow job(last one was over a year ago) she says "If you behave" which means it will never fucking happen. We have good memories, but I am not letting those cloud my judgement to think she will change. I had an email exchange with Dr. Robert Glover this week and he helped me come to this answer. If you are waiting for a woman to change its time to leave. People don't change.

Wow man. I was picturing my mom the whole time reading your story. Here is how my mom thought: Long story short, my mom used to slap the shit out of my sisters and I, and would scream louder at us than any drill sergeant I encountered while in service. When I was 13 or 14, and she was backhanding me while I stood there expressionless, staring right at her, I snapped and pushed her out of my room. Not down the stairs, not even onto the ground. I pushed her out of my room. Immediately she starts t…

Thanks man. The six months of being single after my divorce was the happiest time I had had in years. I did whatever I wanted. Walked the borderline of alcoholism(not recommened, but I just got divorced so...), slept with multiple different women, got out and did social things that were fun to me like bar bingo and pub crawls, and had a six pack from working out for the first time in my life.
