It's an experience thing, brother. When you decide to actually talk to a woman for the first time in your life, you'll start to understand. 😉

Yes, it has to be at that point where it's time to kiss her.

That it does. By the way, I have a starter guide for guys just beginning in cold approach. It's absolutely free of charge, I just want to build some good reviews around it. Would you mind checking it out and leaving a review on it if it's helpful to you?

You'd be surprised how many guys have no idea that women look for intangibles more than anything. Good on you for understanding it! I'd bet you're one of the only guys on here who actually approaches and has significant experience.

Thanks for reading! Unfortunately, women don't choose partners as spontaneously as men. Us men choose immediately, based on looks. Women need time to see your intangibles before they make a decision on you. Going direct is forcing her to make a split second decision about you, which the vast majority of the time will be a no, because you're not giving her enough of a sample to say yes with. The only girls you'll get going direct, if any, are the ones you don't actually want. Don't take my word f…

Thanks for reading! What I said is uncommon, that's for sure, but once you actually start approaching and have been approaching for a meaningful length of time, it'll click. I encourage you to get started!

Thanks for reading! Cold approach is actually way more nuanced than that. You're a total stranger going up to another total stranger to proposition for sex, dating, etc. Us humans mate in social groups, not with strangers. Average, typical advice such as you're referencing doesn't take any of the above into account, and doesn't work, hence the widespread lack of results and dissatisfaction in the community. Most cold approachers follow the type of advice you referenced AND have nothing to show f…

You must look silly and creepy before approaching well. Same goes for every skill set, including this one. Do it poorly until you get it right.

Look at a child learning how to walk, and relate that to every skill set in existence. Children don't count their attempts and say "if I don't get it next try, I'm quitting!" or "if walking doesn't come easy, I'm stopping this!" They simply keep going UNTIL they learn to walk. Amount of time, irrelevant. Number of tries, also irrelevant. Fear and criticism, goo goo ga ga. They DO until they HAVE IT DOWN. Extrapolate this example to cold approach. JUST KEEP APPROACHING UNTIL YOUR OPENS WORK. KEEP…

The conversation after the opener is the exact same as any other conversation you would strike up with anyone else. The main thing hindering you (in the words of old-school RSD Ozzie, who I think is right) is fear. Once you open, stand there and keep talking to her. If fear and insecurity wells up inside of you, practice ignoring it and continuing to talk to her. The biggest barrier to keeping the conversation going is the fear of doing so, which is NOT an actual barrier, you just need to keep g…

I would say learn cocky-funny lines because the framing is buyer-you/seller-her, plus it has playful teasing built in. 1) over-complimenting gives your power away, cocky-funny does not 2) it's great for high-pressure situations where complimenting her might make her feel uncomfortable 3) frame is always you're the buyer, she's the seller She asks where you're from, "so you promise you won't show up at my parents' house asking for my hand in marriage, right?! Nothing wrong with being excited, but…

The definition of a flirt is compliment+tease. Negging is insulting. Teasing is what you do with long-time friends, and what you need to pair with your compliments to women. Examples: "honestly...you win Best Tight Black Dress of the night...actually...4th best! Still up there..." "So...is this a thing where you're from? Elegant, stunning girls with funny accents...don't worry, they kind of balance each other out...almost..." (She's stumbling over her words while talking to you) " Captivates the…

Most physical escalation comes from the same vein (the guy doing and doing until the girl objects), but I've been thinking on how powerful it would be to bait girls to escalate on you. One technique I just happened to hear about for doing this is to literally take her hand and place it on yourself, whether it be on your shoulder, arm, etc. Also thought about baiting her with a cocky-funny line, and then giving her the opportunity to touch you. Example: triangle gaze to your arm, tease her for dr…

Non-social environments (street, cafe, train, park, etc.): neutral/situational, indirect Social environments (bar, club, lounge): neutral/situational Just make sure you have a conversational piece to transition into once you use an indirect opener.

Process orientation, my man. Forget about getting it right and just learn. If you're going to get contacts in nightgame, step out of the bar with the girl for some fresh air and do it then. Make it a mini-hang out. You can even location-hop a bit. We call it an instant date in day game. About the makeouts, unless you're practicing kissing specifically, I would skip on that. It actually KILLS the sexual tension. Girls take the most amount of validation for the least amount of effort; if she has a…

It is usually best to couch compliments with teases, as that's what flirting actually is: compliment + tease, aka mixed signals. The issue is, until you get over your fear of giving compliments and learn how to give good ones instead of generic ones, you'll never get to learn mixed signals. Funny enough, I used to be worried about the same thing. It actually stunted my growth for YEARS; I was a "verbal game" beginner for a LONG TIME because of it. You have to get good at giving good compliments …

There's 3 stages of game, essentially: not knowing how to physically or verbally escalate at all ---> "sweetie game" or what I call "easy man", which is complimenting the girl to high heavens (her style, facial beauty, vibe, body, accomplishments) and physically escalating like you can't keep your hands off of her ---> learning to use mixed signals and ambiguity physically and verbally to bait her to chase and work to win you over. To get to the 3rd level, though, you need to have a handle on th…

If you want to work on your kissing, then making out in-venue is great. However, if you want to pull, you should REFRAIN from kissing her. You want sexual tension to be as high as possible when pulling.

Better to use indirect or situational in daygame and a neutral or situational opener in nightgame. Learn how to transition out of and flirt after the opener. Direct is an old relic of the "natural game" days that only works in very short interactions.

Change "I like your look" to "you have an interesting look". More ambiguous and intriguing.

Flirting ISN'T complimenting a woman. That is only part of it. A flirt is a compliment + a tease in the same statement. For example, a girl says she's from Canada, "I can tell...the unique beauty and the funny accent give it all away...". You can think of this as praising her and making fun of her at the same time, or giving a tentative acceptance and tentative rejection at the same time. Another example reflecting acceptance and rejection: she mentions working out, "I love girls that work out, …

Most guys, including you, can get girls they're not attracted to and struggle a lot with girls they really like. The issue is skill-based, but in the case of a pull like this, if you are pulling with your wing and either one of you does anything wrong, you ruin it for both of you. If his girl had a terrible time in bed, he quite possibly ruined your chance at sex too. OR it's possible that he hit last minute resistance and failed which made his girl want to leave and take yours with her. It's al…

It happens to everyone who has had an exceptional amount of women in their lives. You get desensitized to it. That said, online dates and social introductions are very different from actually starting as a stranger and ending as a lover, ala cold approach. Even though you said you did some approaches, most of success came from apps. Don't make the mistake of thinking you've got women pegged because you killed it online. I would suggest taking on the challenge of cold approach fully to help you m…

As someone who's game used to contain only physical escalation (with terrible results), this assumption that verbal escalation is unnecessary is totally incorrect. Both verbal and physical escalation are imperative; your game becomes anemic and sickly without either one. The fear that verbal escalation brings up is the fear of over-validating a girl, but following a push-pull structure and getting her to qualify herself through questioning and challenging statements will eliminate that problem. …

Daygame pros: girls often alone, no loud venue or groups of friends and other guys to contend with. More of a chance to make a genuine connection. Rejections are much more cordial here. All different types of girls move about in the day: from models to teachers to doctors. You meet them all. Daygame cons: non-social environments mean that it can feel much stranger to strike up a conversation with someone. Girls don't go to the bookstore, or laundromat, or take public transport to socialize. Nigh…

It was a hurdle to overcome mentally at first but I'm always walking around with water in hand while in a venue. Girls don't ask ever, I can't remember the last time a girl even questioned me when she found out I was drinking water instead of alcohol. All it takes is to get stronger.

Comment, don't ask early in the approach, ie. "You definitely look like you're from Texas!" instead of "where are you from?". I would say for the first couple of minutes, ask as few questions as possible. You can also link comments to stories, ie. "I would bet you're from Long Island. We have a tendency to disqualify positive experiences and magnify negative ones. For example, last night I went out and had a great interaction with a cute girl to end my session(one of the best sets I've had in recent memory). This morning I go to thinking mostly about a strange rejection that I got that night, instead of the amazing interaction. It took me a while to realize that my focus shifted and I asked myself why I even cared about the rejection. It takes me back to a statement that RSD …

You have to show intent in a way that gets her chasing you; flirting is perfect for this. You can flirt in a way that insinuates that she's chasing you, instead of the other way around. It is true, at first you need to find a line to say; however, that's 10% of approaching. There are times when not having a scripted opener is best and you have to wing it, you can only learn how to wing it by failing time and time again previously. For first time approachers, have a canned opener to use, "hey you're cute" and use it 500 times before you change it. The formula is: research a little bit of theory, go out and practice it ad nauseum, ie. until you make it work or find it doesn't wor…

/r/seduction03/02/21 08:05 PM

If you're going to approach and you're relatively new to it, just open with "hey you're cute." Very easy to execute. If you were more experienced, you would have been able to handle that statement.
/r/seduction03/02/21 08:02 PM
2

Being that you're new to cold approach, I would say to refrain from analysis for a good period of time (at least 6mo-1 yr) before you dive into the minutia. Just spend time taking yourself from seeing a girl to walking up and opening; experiment and learn, do not get hung up with getting any kind of result until you can approach quite easily. Once you can approach well in MOST situations, then focus on conversation skill. Baby step it.
/r/seduction03/02/21 07:59 PM

It's most important to learn how to smile with your eyes instead of your mouth. If the rest of your face is tense but your mouth is grinning, it looks creepy. Watch some videos to see it demonstrated. The best way to learn "eye smiling" is to be so relaxed in field, that you can't help but express it physically.

The voice is YOU. Start small, taking tiny steps in the right direction to build that muscle. True friends want their friends to grow and evolve, do not overlook cutting people off who don't inspire and cheer you on. Use criticism to fuel you but don't spend most of your time with critical people, even if it's family. Start doing small things you desire that might incite criticism to prep you for bigger life changes.

Experience will allow you to take your focus from maintaining the conversation to deepening it. Once you feel like you have experience on your side, make fun statements about the girl ("you look like you're from New Jersey") and ask questions that point to intimacy ("you probably only date drug dealers, right?") It, however, starts with being comfortable holding conversation.

How much cold approach experience do you have? Dance floor opening is one of the most challenging, you really have to get their attention and get physical early. I would say focus less on looking agenda-less, use a basic opener like "you/you guys look like fun" and learn how to get physical, ie. getting hugs and handholds quickly, when on the dance floor. Treat it like an experiment. RSD Ozzie's Physical Game book gives some good tips on this.

Same title! Haven't read it but I'll give it a look.

If you are new to cold approach, the first year to 18 months should be just blind learning. Go out, try crazy things, approach saying silly statements, etc. These are your training wheel times where you get to set the foundation for getting better at game. The only way to master game is through experimentation and refinement.

Time and experience make the difference. Being in state, as in being extremely outgoing by doing something out of the ordinary, doesn't matter. Treating approaching as a routine, step by step process that you can consistently follow and execute is much more important. State is fleeting, mastery is where it's at.

True, abundance is mindset+action.

Enjoy the memories you had with her and leave it at that. Life is better with a forward-facing focus.

Good job! The main thing that reduces flaking is getting and allowing her to chase. She probably came close to that by qualifying herself once but more was definitely needed.

Also, try to post more detailed conversation that way it might be easier to see where you messed up.

Good job approaching during this whole mess, it takes guts and gusto to keep going!

No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover is a great book to read about this topic.

Talk about things you like to do, ask her what she does for work, music she listens to, what she watches on tv, etc. No need to make it too complicated.

Both work, and you'll find that you can strike a balance but through field experience only. Get out there and make it happen!

Definitely therapy should be your first step.

Try the live program Hotseat, if they are still running it.

It would be hard for anyone here to give advice with seeing where your faults are. Do you write field reports at all? Those would make it much easier to spot and correct behaviors that you do.

How so? The Hotseat at Home program is very different from the live program, I would reckon. If that was the one you looked at, then maybe I could see that. Without clear instructor narrating, infield footage can be overwhelming for sure.

Their free content is a great place to start but to evolve in game, you need to pay for the best. They had great programs before they completely switched to self-help. Transformations, HotSeat and Ozzie's Physical Game book all helped me beyond words.

That will happen again and again until you learn to push through fear and take action. I would say expect it to keep happening, but also keep going out and working at it. It can also help if you take steps to approaching, such as asking for the time, then complimenting the next girl, then making small talk with another and building up to a full on approach. Work on building your mind and mindset in order to help you break through the fear barrier. What city are you in?

Nice, I've never been to Australia but I would love to game there. I'm in New Jersey. Keep us all informed of your progress!

I have a very similar story to yours in some respects. I got into game after having being a painfully shy kid who had never had a girlfriend, barely even had a girl take an interest in me. I struggled to approach for 4 years, doing awkward opinion openers in sparse solo sessions because I had no wing and the mental immensity of it all wore me out too quickly to go out on a regular schedule. After 4 years of searching, I found a group of wings in NYC and they motivated me so much that I went out …
