3	Crazy "theory" I observed after a few years of small talk and some experiments. I call it verbal peacocking... Thanks for your well written and thoughtful reply. This seems very similar to the importance of the way you say something compared to the what you actually say. In my own experience I've found that saying ridiculous things, even asking ridiculous questions can get a person(not necessarily a women) to devote their attention completely to you.
