Resistant bands are good for range of motion and mixing up routines but ive never seen anyone get truly muscular using only them. Ive personally noticed they get more pliable if your room is warm and stiffer when cold so ya dont get consistent resistance. Also they stretch out over time and lose resistance that way. Bottom line: if you really want to pack on muscle you gotta lift heavy.
