Yup. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes having to actually go through it for someone to understand how terrible it can be. When I was dating a BPD I didn't even know what BPD /was/ until after the fact.

There's no ownership going on. It is simply just his turn.

In my experiences, if a girls enthusiasm isn't HELL YEAH about dating you, it's already doomed. If you have to convince someone to be your gf it's a red flag. Assuming this is after some time of dating.

Im expecting this to be downvoted bc of the stigma video games have, but I completely agree. In high school, There was a certain rush when playing competitive Halo/Gears 1/Street Fighter that I STILL haven't felt today, 6 years later. Even after taking down HB7-9s (on my scale), the rush isn't there. Its just like eh, whatever... And then carry on with my day. I also have made tons of my core friends through video games, and although we all grew out of it, they are still my best friends. But lik…

Yeah, I think my views are a little inappropriately skewed bc my parents have been very stable, along with my circle of friends parents. I also went to an expensive private school where a lot of the people I was around had stable, rich families. Of course, this is all on the surface. Who knows how "stable" the families really are.

Can you explain more? My last ex hates her mom and grew up in a house filled with fighting and infidelity. I believe it had a significant impact on the way she views relationships, but I'd love a more formal opinion on it.

Im new to TRP so heres my question regarding this. What if you were dating a girl who rode the CC but you had no idea? Cant a girl hide that pretty easily if shes not a fool and tells you? I just think to my ex who rides the CC as we speak, and how one day she will find a guy who will likely have no idea about her past and think shes an angel.

Geez man. Im sorry you had to go through that, but at least there were lessons to be learned. Im not too well-versed on TRP yet, still learning, but I wouldn't be surprised if she had traces of a personality disorder... Maybe BPD. Such extreme manipulation and need for control. God bless you for getting out.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
