Yeah good point. In my situation, I’ve been building a new wardrobe for only about 8 months, and I’ve changed sizes quite a bit. My closet was barren, so every paycheck I’ve been getting some new clothes. Thanks for the input!

Let’s think of the choices and potential outcomes: You don’t attempt anything and just stay friends -she may have been interested and stop talking to you cause she feels rejected -she wasn’t interested in you and genuinely enjoyed your company in a completely platonic way (seems unlikely) You attempt to date/hookup/etc. -she wasn’t interested, you apologize, misread the situation. She forgives and you’re still friends. -she takes it the wrong way, and she doesn’t talk to you anymore -she agrees,…

I don’t understand what your definition of “awkward” is. Bad posture? Not talkative? I find it hard to believe that you could definitively say that someone classified as “awkward” couldn’t benefit from better looking clothes. I only mentioned trends to help people build their own preferences. I don’t wear a bunch of crazy shit you see in tabloids just like you don’t see girls wearing baggy clothes like Billie Eilish, but if your jeans are 10 years old and sagging (which at one point was cool) or…

Hey man, I went through this EXACT same shit. ~5 months before graduating college, I broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years because there was another girl I was really into. It wasn’t that I just wanted to bang her, but I knew she was interested in me and saw the potential for me to be so much happier with someone other than my girlfriend at the time. She was heartbroken, and for months I felt like a complete pile of shit. I moved away and started my life in a new town. Completely alone. It was …

Dude. She had sex with you. She likes you man. Just go to sleep. Anything you try to do to “fix it”will probably actually ruin things. Chances are, she was probably just feeling a little awkward about sleeping over. Most girls do. I had a girl over a few nights ago, and after we fucked I was trying to go to sleep, and she wanted me to bring her to her car so she could go home (at 5:00 am btw). Girls are weird man, you just have to shrug it off and trust that it will work out. If she thought you …

That’s a good point. I actually talked to a life coach who helped me work on my shyness a lot, so I don’t have much of a problem with it as much anymore.

Honestly I shop at old navy because their clothes fit me really well and it’s cheap. Find a brand that fits best

Biggest thing was losing weight. I’ve lost about 35 pounds and am much happier in my own skin. It’s a tough road but a great long term goal to have. Start working out (not necessary to lift weights. Just diet and join an adult soccer or ultimate frisbee league or something. Start hiking, etc. ) and you will feel your confidence soar over a period of time. Also, get some good fitting clothes. Really take the time to shop for good clothes and shoes. Be willing to invest money in the way you presen…

I would say maybe try not to focus on anything. My best nights including this one have been when I wasn’t intending to approach women, didn’t have some clever opener prepared, and didn’t constantly analyze how the conversation was going. If you consistently go meet people and just be yourself, you’ll be more comfortable talking to people you don’t know and can then apply some of the psychological principles of game you learn in this sub. Theres a reason that once you are no longer looking for a …

Part of it was by choice. Had a very long term relationship go bad, and for months and months I was just working through that. Then worked on myself, and now I’m here. But yeah it was a good while, so it’s good to be back in the game

I thought the same thing. Hadn’t had sex in a year before that night.

I know many girls who would find that sexy. Be yourself man!

That was exactly my situation! Ended a 4+ year relationship and no longer knew how to interact with new people. Just work on yourself. It’s good to be single for a while so you can develop your self worth and know what you want in life.

Just be yourself man. If people aren’t interested, find new people. I used to hide a lot about myself, but you can always find a group of people who like you for who you are

Just need some practice man. I’m not sure how your social life is, but consider getting more involved with groups you’re interested in like a softball team, running group, etc. you’ll get more acclimated with talking to strangers plus you’ll always have stuff to talk about.

This is line-by-line exactly what I’ve been doing including your references. I’m on the tooth whitening right now and getting some alignment done soon. I’d also recommend some tanning, too. That helps your skin get vitamin D, so you typically breakout less plus you look better in your clothes.

Well it happened. Maybe in her mind she just wanted to meet me because it appeared like I knew everyone, or maybe she was also in my situation and didn’t know many people. It doesn’t matter to me why it went down

The first girl was an HB8. Early 20’s, tight body, long legs (around 5’ 10” tall), blonde hair, and great ass. The second girl was not an HB8. Like I said, she had a nice body, but she was very obviously older and nowhere comparable to girl number one. It happened for 1 of 2 reasons: They saw me talking to a bunch of people around the bar in different groups and wanted to know who I was. They knew people in the groups I was talking to, and maybe her friends met me and mentioned me or something. …

Well, I’ve met plenty of people through work, but they’re just at different stages of life and don’t go out. I got sick of trying to invite them so I started going out alone. Alone was fine, I had fun, but I never engaged people. I would just dance on the dance floor and sometimes get grinded on. So I finally decided to find new friends. The key for me was inviting a group to play a bar game, and usually they would ask who I was with. I was honest and just said that I went out alone because I wa…

I went to a bar that was pretty popular for people my age. It was just a popular sports bar with some bar games like beer pong, darts, etc. I asked a random group of people to play, and it expanded from there. I’ve tried this a few times with varying reactions. Some people play and they’re done after that, I just tried to keep the conversation going to make them friends instead of just one time hangout and it worked

Yeah I think that was a huge help. I also started exfoliating and moisturizing my face to get rid of breakouts and dry skin. I’m telling you, with just a little work you can increase your attractiveness easily in a short span

I would say I’m above average, and while being in shape has helped me a bunch, I also got some well-fitting clothes that I feel really confident in. All that combined Id put myself at an 8/10 on a really good day
