Nooo you have a lovely voice! Very charming! I took the list and listened to all your videos that are in my audible Wishlist, in attempt at narrowing it down. TY :)

Yeah getting fit isn't trivial or shallow in any way. People can dismiss it as it being vanity driven. There's so much more to fitness than that. Looking better is a by-product of much bigger things. There's nothing shallow about someone being attracted to a person that is displaying discipline, dedication to health, self-care, moderation.. If a potential partner can't take good care of themselves, why would I be interested?

It's a good goal to get fit. Get fit anyway. Don't 'not get fit' because you are in a funk about whether or not to change for other people. Just commit to the goal for yourself. If you can't commit to the goal, don't use this whole seduction/women argument as the excuse for not doing it.

:) Reciprocation is fair, and is everything in my opinion. Everyone knows where they stand. But the minute you look for advice, it's like you're taken down this weird path of game playing. I don't think anyone wants the other person to be all over them from the get go if they are looking for a relationship. That would leave the mind no space to wonder about the other person and to desire them. It's all done in a flash and the fantasy is gone.

I'm sorry. Don't take it as a rejection or a sign that you're not good enough. We can't mind read, we don't know the reason. You deserve better.

I really appreciate your reply. I've never heard a man describe what I said in my posts - it's just the advice I hear from books, podcasts and other women. Do you think there's a pinch of truth in what I said though?

Even in books to help struggling married couples, women are so often told that what keeps men interested is the chase. And if there is no chase, the desire goes away, and they'll go looking elsewhere. We are constantly told to show interest, but not too much. To try to be mysterious etc.

I just feel reluctant to tell you to end it because I'm a female who gets worried and holds back (even when my head is like no..speak up). Women are told by books, podcasts, the internet that if you're too keen, chatty or show you're interested..the guy will lose interest. I know it's probably BS but it gets so stuck in my head. I'm actually kind of needy, but my exes found me kind of distant because I don't show it.

how do you know for sure her interest Is low? She might just want to take things slow (speaking from experience).

controlling pos. He'll be stopping her from seeing her friends next. she should contact IG and tell them what happened so she can get the account back

I just advise caution because a lot of women don't like to be approached by the opposite sex in this way.

I think you need to look for cues that she would want you to approach her.

I agree I only started dating my ex because I was ready, and happy. I was excited about life and I told him I'd only date if I was happy. That it's unfair on the other person blah blah if you're not. A weird thing happened. He chipped away at my happiness. Not intentionally. He just did. And when it ended, I had a few weeks of thinking the only thing that could make me happy again would be a new partner. Weird - it's like I'd unlearned everything. I'm back to normal now.

I relate to this so much. Your first point - I have over-extended so much in the past. I've completely neglected myself in order to make relationships work. It's not really an approval thing for me, it's more of a fear of friction. I dread disagreements even though they are a natural part of life. I was in an abusive relationship where the consequences of me disagreeing, we not worth the risk. So now..I default into little miss agreeable and it's so bad. And you know what, it's so f*cking unattr…

Understand that protecting your boundaries and being kind have absolutely nothing to do with eachother. Can you elaborate on this? This is such a great post btw

My hand actually aches from all the HELL NOs. I agree..I legit just want a guy that is attractive/matches mine, is NORMAL.. like seriously..normal is so hot. Someone who has a decent career (I have a decent career...I'm only looking for a match not a sugar daddy). Those men you describe - this is exactly what I see, too. Yet on Bumble BFF all the women look more normal. These apps seem to attract normal women but then, like you said...bottom barrel men. I feel like they've eye raped me. Where ar…

Like literally finding someone who's eyes both point in the right direction is impossible. It's crazy how bad some of these guys are 'CEO of mind your own business' and all this crap.. standing there in the mirror with a urinal in the f*cking background.

Sometimes it's about holding back as well as knowing when to speak. I read here yesterday something about 'giving a cheatsheet to the devil' and it really struck a chord with me. We must hold back - many of us are holding back on sex already, good. But it's not enough. We need to protect our emotional wellbeing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
