All of that may have something to do with whites keeping blacks from reading for over 100 years. Ripping them from their homes and placing them in chains.Killing those who did educate themselves. I don't see working for the airlines as freedom. But working in my own real estate business that has massive potential for expansion if I can just get to the first deal to help further push my marketing... That is a whole new ball game. But While I think about this outloud... I am in debt because of continued pushes into businesses and not following through with them. Like another user said, I can do real estate whenever and the airplane thing is temporary. I think my only option here is plan A …

Good input I agree. At the very least I could put the r.e shit on hold until I have the first pilot job allowing me to pay down my debt securely while also firmly pushing me toward a high paying career... This does seem to be the most responsible option.

Fair answer. Thanks. I agree $55 an hour is unlikely for a brand new CFI but it IS the basement going rate in my area for flight instructors and the job seems to be in high demand for those willing to work. I could see myself working 40hr a week independently after working for a flight school for awhile say 6 months to a year, earning experience and connections.. but that would quickly turn into a first officer job at a regional airline for 25k a year(back to peanuts) and then quickly to a capta…

You would forgo the 55$ an hour job (25 min) in 2 months to get a 15$ an hour job in who knows how long? just to pay off cc debt? That could take me 6-9 months and I'd still have to figure out where I will get my financial freedom from because it certainly wasn't working for a major corp at 15$ an hour.
