Yeah but it’s important to know what someone is referring to as sexual assault. A lot of teenage girls engage in consensual sex etc. with guys of their age and above. Eventually they realize that what they did would be frowned upon and then claim that they were assaulted. So you’re right victim blaming is wrong. But what is also wrong is claiming you were assaulted when you clearly consented to everything and enjoyed it. It’s unfair to actual victims of sexual violence and desensitizes others fr…

Yeah maybe 12 -14 is a child , but around 15 most people develop enough sense to tell right from wrong in extreme cases

Only if it was penetrative. Also, a lot of women below the age have consensual sex when they’re about 16-17. That’s below the age of consent in some states. We don’t call that rape even though it statutorily is. Technically it is. But it’s not regarded as a form of rape or sexual assault.

It is a sad state of society that we live in that literally hosting sessions where you parade naked to appease random men is considered a “red flag” now. Only fans and cam girls are a red flag ?!? I would have imagined that these would literally disqualify women from any serious relationship ever, let alone marriage. But now this is only a red flag?! Meaning hypothetically, there is opportunity for this to be balanced out by other green flags ?! It’s one thing to do it due to financial issues. B…

Please don’t generalize. A lot of women claim not having doors open for them as harassment. The reason why most women have a “story to share” is because several of them piggy back off what actual victims go through and use their trivial inconvenience as a ground to bash men. This is exactly what has pushed men away from supporting women rights and gender equality. Because it is no longer about who is the victim vs who is the perp. It’s more about “being a victim” being in trend. Edit: Also age g…

I doubt that is the case. Women folks tend to know their peers better. Saying I don’t have casual sex is one thing. Saying that a large population of women don’t is another. What is being mentioned in the OP is not a personal preference, but as assumption about women in general. That’s what I’m refuting

Not sure about getting hit on. But this one time on a first date, a girl wanted me to come back to her place to Netflix and chill. Lol you can’t ignore the social stigma. What world are you living in ? If you’re ok with severe negative judgment, then looks like you’re shameless and probably don’t know what a good social status feels like. In which case, I doubt I’d be interested in debating with you anyway.

That’s not the stigma. That’s just the term used to describe the male counterpart of a slut. But it doesn’t being any stigma. At least hasn’t to me. Everyone around me that’s aware of my sexual history, has never used that as reason to not pursue me. Literally no one. They may have been concerned about whether I will commit to them. But never have they said “oh. That’s disgusting. I won’t date you.” And this includes women from all kinds of backgrounds, all educated and excellent potential partn…

Firstly, the stigma isn’t old school. The thought process might be. But the stigma still very well exists. That’s why there’s so much agitation and debate about female promiscuity. Like it or not, it does. Secondly, what you are referring to as pathetic has actually got me so much luck in life. Not being with someone that has a reputation actually buys you social value and that in turn buys you more connections and opportunities.

I think by stigma I meant slut shaming and actively calling them out. Like a lot of folks do. Both here and irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:41 PM
1

In a heartbeat. I don’t care about stupid divorce and n count related studies. Neither do I care about her having slept with better endowed men. If the social stigma didn’t exist, I would have happily married women with high counts.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:38 PM
1

I don’t think so. I don’t shame women that are promiscuous. I never call them out or shame them or say they’re in the wrong. I just don’t want anything to do with the social stigma they bring on to themselves. If I had it my way, there would be no shame and everyone would be free to date whoever they wanted. But it’s not that way right ? So why should I worry about their decisions ?

/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:26 PM

Nope. Hard to put a number on it. I’d rather judge by overall attitude towards sex than a distinct number. I usually date women 28 and above and so maybe 15 is a max. Of course that entails serial monogamy only. Non monogamy, threesome, etc are dealbreakers.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:24 PM

The social stigma associated with me sleeping around is not the same for a woman engaging in the same behavior. Women are shamed for it. Men are not. I prefer women that acknowledge that and act accordingly. It’s a sad truth about society, but it is what it is. I slept with 30+ women across 2 years to sow my wild oats. Between 26-28.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:22 PM

Social stigma is not trivial. People laughing at you is not trivial. It’s humiliating and shameful
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:14 PM

Yeah but why are you assuming that the relationship is predatory ? If there is evidence to establish that, then sure call it predatory. But there needs to be more evidence to substantiate than just the age difference. You said it yourself. Negative issues can exist in all relationships, irrespective of age difference. The moral base exists because people assume a prejudice against men and adopt the women are helpless victims mindset for no good reason at all. Virtue is gender independent. Women …

I would never understand this concept of predatory. Two consenting adults choose to be in a relationship/casual arrangement. Both are of legal age and both capable of taking decisions out of free will. Where the fuck does predator instinct come into play ?!

Honestly, I don’t buy this whole “spread my seed” notion. I for one have no interest in doing so. I can’t ever imagine having kids but if I do, I would only do it because I want to add to my life, and not because I am concerned about my seed. Like I literally don’t give two hoots if my genes were to die with me. But then I could be biased since I’ve had a lot of sex and so don’t see as much thrill to it anymore.

That’s a weak argument. There are a million problems out there in the world. A movement/community can choose to fight against any of them. That doesn’t mean they don’t acknowledge the existence of others. Male on male sexual violence is a problem. Female on male sexual violence is also a problem. I choose to focus my efforts on addressing the latter. That does not mean I don’t acknowledge the former’s existence.

Casual sex is casual sex. The intent, objective and frequency is immaterial. You are judging others for enjoying casual sex, because YOUR experiences were bad. That’s literally the kettle calling the pot black. Setting a standard, while not having lived up to it is fine. Just acknowledge it.

I made the social validation point as a second one, not as a continuation. I agree that there is desire but then all that passion and strength would only come for the right woman right ? I cannot fathom being with someone that I am not attracted to. Sure, I can compromise a little bit dropping my standards below a certain point will seem like being with someone for the sake of it and not because of the aforementioned desire.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/22 03:38 AM

The issue I have with this post is that it promotes the concept of a man being “incomplete” without a permanent partner. Why should one have to lower standards just to have someone in one’s life where basic premise like attraction is missing. Why can the average man just accept that he won’t have female companionship ? I’m not even talking MGTOW or woman hating. Just learn to be happy on your own. For sex there’s always other avenues like hookers. Perhaps there is some level of social validation…

By holding on to anger against someone that doesn’t matter to you anymore and cannot influence your life, you are unnecessarily punishing yourself. It’s human to feel angry but it’s important to acknowledge it, and let it go for your own sake. Not always because the other person “deserves forgiveness”, but because you don’t want to impact your own self.

Protecting something entails doing so at the risk of your own sake. Which would further indicate that what you are protecting is valuable and worth dying for. I would certainly put my life on the line to protect the dignity and respect of my partner, IF she has done her best to protect it herself. If however, her actions indicate that she is not too bothered about protecting it herself, or she doesn’t care too much about what it represents, only a fool would sacrifice his own purposeful existenc…

Sure but I don’t reel under the misconception that the desire to engage in sex stems only from hormonal urges. Societal validation, wanting to feel empowered and intoxication are just few of the several reasons why women engage in intimacy.

Sure but that is because of social conditioning. Society shames women for being upfront about their sexual desires. Also, it’s about supply and demand. Men throw themselves at women and hence women, by default do not need to approach or engage proactively. Your OP is referring to the desire for sex, not the means.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 12:35 AM
17

Yes because blatant and shameless expression of desire is not how most normal people, especially women are conditioned to behave. Your example is flawed from the perspective of the approach that the subject takes to soliciting sex. Given favorable and non judgement circumstances, women are just as interested in casual as men are. Do they want to do that for their entire lives ? Maybe not. But do they file it out completely ? Not as frequently as you would think.

As long as the man has verbally asserted it’s casual, there is no reason for the woman to assume it’s not. If she does that, it’s her own fault if she is disappointed subsequently. More than holding hands, going on dates, kissing etc, the biggest example of what was once considered as the ultimate sign of a relationship was sex. Now that sex can sustain outside of a relationship, anything else that the guy does should never be construed as indication of wanting a relationship. As a man, there co…

Only they’re not. You’re telling me that only a minority of women have ever engaged in casual sex?! I strongly disagree based on my personal experience. I’d say that a small minority of women would choose casual sex over an actual relationship. But to say that only a small minority has ever had casual sex or has probably dipped their toes in it once or twice is a fallacy.

Most women want relationships. However, there could be occasions where that’s not feasible. Either because the guy is leaving soon or she just got out of a relationship. There could be a lot of reasons. During those times, plenty of women engage in casual sex. Believe it or not, women have the ability to have NSA sex. The question of getting hurt only arises when there is a mismatch of expectations. When both parties know that it’s going to be casual, there is no question of getting hurt.

Nope. One had a part time job through out our relationship whereas I didn’t. She picked up tabs several times and even paid more than 50 per cent for stuff that we did together. The second one graduated before me since my degree took longer. She landed a job that put her in the top 10 percentile of industry earners. She didn’t need a dime of my money. Yet happily stayed with me until we had to part ways since I got a job in a different city. Both girls were extremely attractive. I don’t get into…

I mean I kind of agree but then I still feel like there is only so much you can do to avoid a social judgement due to promiscuity. If you hook up with complete strangers on tinder every time you want sex, just so you can maintain anonymity, it still involves those random men thinking of you as a slut. That is a blow to reputation right there. While I agree with you that it is not a direct tangible impact in that no one group of setting knows of her actions, it still involves a general disregard …

Not a hypocrite but I do hold men and women to different standards. Everyone does. That’s how society is. Women hold men to different standards than themselves too. Your last statement is factually incoherent, simply because sleeping with someone that you just met, does not give a woman enough time to determine how she is being perceived. She barely knows the guy. If she goes home with a guy she just met at the bar, how does she know how she is being viewed by the guy ? How does she know of his character and intent ? How does she know what he would think of her after orgasming, now that he won’t be horny ? She doesn’t! And the huge numbers of women that flo…

Don’t bother to argue. It’s like hitting your head against a wall. Women that are between 18-22, perhaps 24, would anyday be more valuable and preferred by men all over. The only reason why it even makes minor sense to LTR or marry a woman above that age is if she earns enough to manage her own expenses and will have a lower chance of leaving you since she knows she won’t have as large a chance of finding love again as she would have when she was younger.

They only want her for her genitalia and the women know this too. Don’t generalize. Women are perfectly fine with being used as long as it is with their consent. Hence, if a woman consents to date a middle aged man, then there is no qualm in it .

I think for a lot of people, the anger stems from being conditioned to believe the exact opposite about women by media and pop culture. Modern day dating is a wake up call for a lot of people, who believed that women were perfect little angels that did no wrong. There is nothing inherently wrong with women doing anything( subject to morality). However, a bubble that a lot of men were fed or conditioned to believe is that women can never do wrong. Hence, it’s more of a wake up call.

This is barely an experience. You are a stranger on the internet that is unable to provide a concrete example of how sex, that is not rape, is not consensual. My experiences and opinions are too well founded and engrained, to be dislodged by random internet strangers that make assertions without substantiating them.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/21 06:50 PM
1

Well if that’s happened with you or a loved one, I’m sorry. But until I experience something that makes me alter my intent of communicating it that way, I will continue to do so. More power to you and GOD bless.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/21 05:29 PM
0

That is so damn dumb a statement seriously. Do you always preface consensual before every act ? When I say someone had sex with another person, I would never preface it with consensual. The presumption that normal people make is that unless specified otherwise, it was consensual. If it wasn’t, it’s rape. End of story.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/21 04:37 PM
0

Well what they tell others doesn’t matter. I’m not debating the impact of hearsay. All I’m saying is that the act of rape is not consensual sex. That’s all.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/21 04:28 PM
2

Yes but it’s not for them to determine the nature of the act. The law does. If the woman is aggrieved, she has the right to set the process into motion.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/21 03:55 AM
4

Well then it’s rape, if it’s not consensual. I wouldn’t refer to that as sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/21 03:50 AM
4

The fact that she has sex with him ?!?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/21 03:36 AM

Gotcha. Yeah that makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/21 10:38 PM

But what’s wrong with that message objectively? The guy wants to cut to the chase and ask whether you want sex. If the girl isn’t interested, then she can always say no. If he persists of stalks, then it’s wrong and perhaps predatory. But if he is just saving time, what’s wrong with such an approach ?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/21 10:34 PM
0

I think the reason why a lot of women say “just sex” is because they are trying to downplay the impact that the event had on their lives. Perhaps they assume that the man would be concerned about how much emotional impact that relationship may have left on the woman and so she tries to downplay it to make it appear that she wasn’t emotionally invested in the guy and so tiger current partner doesn’t feel as if she is still into that casual partner. What they fail to understand is that the lack of…

How the person prioritizes and evaluates their actions does not determine how society perceives it. If a woman has trauma and ends up becoming a stripper, no one will care what led her towards that path. She will be remembered as a stripper period. All the social ramifications associated with that tag will be associated with her too, irrespective of her doing it to “feel empowered” rather than to earn money or just any other hedonistic reason. There is a huge difference between having had sexual experience and being promiscuous. One can have a very average or even above average sexual life and still not engage in promiscuity. Well getting into a relationship IS how a lot of women get “pumped and dumped”. I don’t know where you’re from, but I’d think that in the west, sex usually happens on the 2nd or 3rd date. The max that happens is that people establish exclusivity before that. If a guy just really wants to have sex with you, he can do all of that, enjoy the sex for a few weeks and then say “sorry, don’t feel a connection”. If that’s a relationship, then it’s clearly not a barrier to getting pumped and dumped.

Yes. This is relevant. It’s all right to be naive and silly during early years and make some mistakes. Let’s face it. Men are no angels. Especially in their younger years, most are outright manipulative and will lie their ass off to get into a girl’s pants. But if a person doesn’t learn despite repeated bad experiences and being “used”, then it just reflects a poor sense of self respect

True. And you have every right to. But it’s not a good feeling for a guy to know that there are other men out there talking smack about her character and calling her names, especially when he himself wants to give her utmost respect and affection. Of course. I am not unfair or inappropriate towards her. No cheating, yelling, gaslighting etc. I respect her as a person. Just that I grew up with very different notions about relationships and people and that too in a much more conservative country. When I moved to the west, I had assumed that my mind has adapted its expectations. I quickly realized that it has not. That’s all. It’s ny fault completely. Women that have personally trodden down a hedonistic and unconventional lifestyle will almost always encourage conventional women to do the same. A woman that sleeps around and has a body count that’s super high, is aware of the fact that she is an outlier. She has decided to embrace the stigma associated with her lifestyle and yet at the same time wants validation and normalcy to be asso…

The intent of the app is a good one. But as a man, I wouldn’t even bother to get to know someone unless I am physically attracted to them. It might sound shallow but I can’t get myself to overcome the need to be physically attracted to someone. Governments, especially in democracies can be voted in by a vast majority of the population that lives in areas about whom no one gives a shit. Have a look at the coastal states in the US. With each passing half decade, a new generation of children become adults and get brainwashed into fake “woke” culture and lead lives strikin…

Very true. The entire world is progressing towards a more “liberal and woke” culture. A lot of folks here think that south East Asian countries are still conservative and have cultural contrast with the west. But with the internet connecting everyone, it’s only a matter of 10 years before all these “conservative” cultures will soon become way closer to the west than they ever were. Like it or not, irrespective of governments in power, the future of the world is going to be liberal and woke.

Yes but it’s not in consonance with the tone of your sentence. You clearly were listing origin based on geographical origin such as Mexican, Brazilian and African. Mentioning a Hindu origin as part of that doesn’t make sense.

I’m an Indian from India and have had my share of challenges in dating within the US. For all the reasons you mentioned and the fact that I’m not from here. But I’ve always had enough success to keep content. Whether it’s an LTR or casual dating, I get enough matches with attractive and educated women. Of course, its not as smooth an experience as jt may be for a non desi, but the sheer large number of women on dating apps makes your odds higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/21 12:41 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 11:55 PM
1

I won’t. As long as she has been a Madonna through out her life. If she becomes a Madonna only for me, while I may respect her choice, I will not feel comfortable in dating her. I’d feel that she is not embracing who she truly is, and hence will consider her deceitful. The conclusion is that women should either not sleep around, or if they do, they should accept the fact that one of the ramifications is that a lot of men won’t want to date her. That is to say, if they find out everything!
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 05:56 PM
1

But that’s deceitful and immoral. If a woman wants a man that wants a Madonna, then be a Madonna. Don’t pretend to be one !

Any sexual encounter(s) where then intention between the parties is for the relationship to never become an LTR. If you sleep with someone the third date onwards, with the intent of establishing a relationship, and it eventually doesn’t work out for some other reason, it’s not casual. As long as you’re exclusive and monogamous. When I hear FWB, I assume that it’s two friends that are sleeping with each other. It’s very much casual. They clearly don’t want the relationship to head somewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 03:58 PM
13

This is the most basic and accurate way of putting it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 03:54 PM
1

Gotcha. Yeah that’s a good point. In your case I would consider that as casual. Glad to know that some of them worked out well for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 04:13 AM
1

I’d disagree with the definition. Casual sex is when two people engage in sex, knowing fully well that it’s not going to lead somewhere. If two people are “seeing each other exclusively” and explore physical intimacy at that stage, it’s not casual. If I sleep with someone on the third date, after being exclusive with her, I’m not in a relationship with her yet, but my intent is to get into one. Hence that intent renders it to not be casual.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 04:07 AM
2

also, have you never had casual sex ? Like an FWB or a hookup ? I would think that adds to the count as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 05:39 PM
2

I’m sure everyone tries to find that person. Most serial monogamists get into LTRs one after the other. But circumstances can lead people to break up. Especially when you prioritize careers along with your relationship.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 05:12 PM

Don’t think that’s the case. Many of them had multiple relationships that lasted more than 1-2 years. The reason why the number becomes a bit high is because there are some relationships that become false starts and don’t go beyond a few months. What country are you in ?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 05:11 PM
3

Doesn’t it feel bad to you to know that they’re using you as nothing but a flesh light ? I mean you may not want a connection but at least respect ?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 04:49 PM

Maybe 10 plus is high for early 20s. I don’t know but I date late 20s and early 30s women that are at least masters educated. Most women in that category have at least 10.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 04:48 PM

Then you should not hook up with them. I mean not you personally, but any girl in general.

That’s a huge assumption. A man that spent his twenties working on himself, building a career and wealth and has only been in LTRs is a huge catch for a promiscuous woman trying to finally settle down after her sexual escapades. Also, promiscuity and sexual experiences, in that the judgement arising out of them, matter far more for a woman than they do for a man. From the perspective of reputation at least. Is it wrong ? For sure, it is. But until a utopic world is established, that’s how it’s g…

/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 03:51 PM
4

Yes but being sexually liberal doesn’t equate to fucking randos at bars, as mentioned in the prior comment. What I’m saying is that, a lot of women that lead “crazy and promiscuous lives” will not necessarily highlight that in front of men they are actively trying to court for an LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 03:39 PM
4

Yes but the rationale behind that appears to be that you don’t want to give away sex to any random person since you value it and only want to share it with someone that matters. Which is a great perspective and rationale, until one realizes that you may have not held another person to the same standard in the past. That’s when your current partner will feel devalued and lesser of a person. It’s a great way to weed out jerks sure, but it also potentially jeopardizes your would be SO’s opinion abo…

At least the chances go down substantially. Btw what does your flair mean ?

Depends on the guy. I exclusively date well educated women. If you’re just a pretty face and body with zero zeal to build a career, I would never be able to respect you as a partner or introduce you to other colleagues and friends with pride. Work on both, if you can. Most people do.

Since centuries, the primary attribute that men have been credited with has been to provide and in case of women, it has been her sexuality and beauty. Hence, despite having become a very progressive and liberal society, those gender norms are much more strongly ingrained within our minds, that we know of. Women will still be judged more about decisions with respect to their bodies, whether it is sexuality or whether it is their ability to have a body attractive enough to win over a man. Hence p…

I don’t know about other chads, but as a guy who has had a lot of casual sex, after a point of time, finding just a pretty face and a hot body to fuck becomes boring. My first few casual encounters were with very pretty girls. Once those happened a few times, casual sex got boring for me. My mind started wandering towards other stuff such as kinkier women and getting with girls that would agree to do stuff that other girls won’t. That’s one domain where the average looking girl is usually golden…

While this is a decent take, here is what happens a lot of times. A girl that is between a 3 and a 6, hooks up with a chad. While chad is using her as nothing but his flesh light and gives literally zero fucks about her personality and nature, she thinks that he is into her because of reasons beyond her sexual abilities. She could misinterpret that chad is into her because of her looks or her personality or both whereas chad just wants her body. Eventually, because chad hooked up with her once, …

He could if that’s what his preference is. I’d consider that winning as well. As long as he does what he wants without hurting anyone else and by using his own resources, he’s a winner. Also, an inanimate object could never replace the physical touch of a human being. Probably the same reason why women would rather hook up than use a dildo. It’s just not the same.

Very true.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 06:11 PM

No one cares as long as they get sex. Those women can very well be thinking of chad while sleeping with the sugar daddy. I doubt he cares. He’s getting what he wants by using his surplus resources. How does it matter whether the girl is enjoying it ? If he had been in a relationship, then his woman’s satisfaction would have been his obligation. Not here. His obligation is paying her. He might miss out on the joy of having a family. But not everyone wants that.

Chad uses his strengths I.e. his personality and his looks. A sugar daddy uses his strengths I.e. money and resources. Both are similar setups.

I agree. But most folks that have sex third date onwards usually establish exclusivity and don’t see other people. They may not be “serious” by definition, but then the exclusivity ensures that they’re giving the relationship a shot and want it to lead somewhere. Most folks become serious after say 2-3 months of dating. Usually. Imagine investing all that time only to find out that the person is not sexually compatible with you. That’s why, during the courtship phase, even though two people aren…

That’s not casual sex at all IMO. Casual sex is when both parties have a mutual agreement for things to not go anywhere. If you’re getting to know someone, have sex with them after the 3rd date or so and then eventually things don’t work out after 2-3 months, most people don’t categorize that as casual sex.

As an Indian man staying in the US, I can definitely vouch for the fact that your SMV will go for a huge toss in most other countries. You have correctly identified the stereotypes associated with Indian guys, especially the ones associated with asking for bob and vagene pics. Not to say that you won’t pull any game at all. But things won’t be as easy as they were back home. Almost 80’percent of my notch count came from girls in India. Here in the US, the barrier is higher to be able to score, n…

It’s not as easy as finding an answer on Reddit. South Asian women (Indian, Pakistanis, Nepalese, Sri Lankan, etc.) that are born and raised in the US, are just as much influenced by western culture as white women. I’ve hooked up with so many, it’s not funny. South Asian women who have been born and raised in South Asia and move to the US, usually come from the more liberal and larger cities in those countries. They are just as feminized, if not more and while their n counts may not be as high, t…

On the outside, work on being someone that has higher value than what you do right now. Not to steal back her attention. Not to win her over. Only and only for yourself. Mentally, focus on developing a mindset where even if she cheats, you won’t give a fuck. She can never have an overbearing emotional impact on you, if you don’t let her. Never let anyone tell you, not even folks on the RP, that your partner cheating has anything to do with you. It’s always about them. Always. Once you realize th…

That’s exactly what I said. No one dislikes women here. I don’t. Most mature folks don’t. Whenever someone posts shit here about sleeping with married women or flaking on someone after getting them pregnant, everyone advises against it. No body hates women here. Hatred towards something that exists is futile and a waste of personal emotions. Can I hate the sky for being blue ? Is it going to change the color of the sky ? Will my hatred change the inherent nature of a lion to attack me ? Nope. Wh…

I love my mother too. However, I never shared a sexual relationship with her. I’m assuming you didn’t with yours either. The red pill focusses on sexual traits that are very deep rooted in all women. It also advises on how to navigate through life while keeping those in mind. There’s nothing wrong with that. There are a lot of deep rooted habits in men as well. Many of which are not ideal. It’s just that men have grown up learning about women with an unrealistic , almost perfect lens, because of…

He’s not disrespecting her. He simply acknowledges the truth about her and embraces it. If he starts putting his mother on a pedestal, he is going to have unrealistic high expectations of other women that he brings into his life. Later, when they are unable to meet those expectations, he will feel bad. Hence by acknowledging some inherent traits of all women, whether it’s his mother, sister or partner, he is looking beyond what modern day contemporary values propagate women to be.

The ideal thing to do is to pacify her temporarily, ensure that you eventually go to a private space, and then break up. Looks like you did that. Beware of girls like this. One of my exes threatened suicide when I broke up. I was worried for at least a week. Not the best mental space to be in !

I think this is a very important step for every guy to consider. Not just to increase n count and sexual skills, but also it helps you understand just how much sex people are having these days. The cute library geek, the friendly receptionist that doesn’t wear bold clothes, as well as the super busy grad student, everyone has sex, including casual. It helps you realize and set more realistic standards about what to expect.

There is an inherent difference in how women and men value “honor and integrity” in relationships. No matter how much my girl pisses me off, I would never go to my friends and bitch about her. I’ll be too concerned about what perception they would walk away with about her. Women however, may think otherwise. A relationship is a reflection of the person that is leading it. I don’t think there are as many people with more than 100 partners to skew the average. Curious about your three week rule. If the third date were to happen in less than 3 weeks, say maybe 2 weeks, would you still wait for three weeks or so or would you expect sex on the third date ? Also do you text and chat between the three dates or do you usually only text for logistics ?

I don’t think most women operate like that. Most intend to find an LTR, start seeing a guy and then hit it off with him. They date exclusively and during that period, have sex. Some of those eventually end up becoming long term relationships that last for more than 6 months and go on to a few years. Some don’t work out and end up after a few weeks/2-3 months of exclusive dating. Occasionally, there could be a fling/FWB in between. I don’t think that’s riding the CC at all.

There’s nothing insecure about setting boundaries. Boundaries are set about things you can pre empt. Not going to a music festival is a very specific boundary that I guess no one can ever pre emptively set. If you’re not comfortable with it, just tell her calmly that you’re not. You are human and if something makes you uncomfortable despite her not giving you a reason to feel that way, you are allowed to be that way. Tell her that you don’t prefer her going and if she doesn’t comply, then next h…

Smoking generally becomes an issue when it’s a habit. She may have tried is just for fun or because her gay friend pushed her to try one. She realized that she didn’t like it. Unless she does it again, don’t fret. This would be also be a good time to set ground rules for other deal breakers for you.

I don’t think it’s low per se but it’s I guess it’s not high either. The average for millennials is 10.8. So perhaps it’s around average to above average. Coupled with the fact that she went to grad school, and so that’s two colleges back to back ,I’d say it wouldn’t bother me much. It’s not low, but it’s not high enough to be a dealbreaker. That’s just me though.

I don’t think they do. But you need to evaluate which red flags are a deal breaker do you and which ones are not. It varies from person to person. Some people don’t date women with a lot of education. I personally exclusively date highly educated women. Some people don’t date women with tattoos. Some DGAF. You should decide which one is a red flag glaring enough for you to not pursue this.

I never advocate for breaking up with LTRs at the drop of a hat but then there is a difference between something that needs to be set a boundary around and something that’s a dealbreaker. For me, if my GF touches and flirts with another guy in front of me, it’s a dealbreaker and I will end it. If she wanted to get into your head, even in a manipulative way, there are far many ways to do it rather than flirting with another guy and that too in front of you. I don’t know if a straitjacket formula. Honestly, the first step would be to have realistic expectations about the world. Embrace the fact that women have a lot of casual sex now. Not in a wow that’s so cool and with an I’m a cuck mindset. But just acknowledging that the world has changed and the first step towards leveraging your surroundings to grow in life is to accept that you work with the new world.

I think you’re assuming that only women that “party” have casual sex. Casual sex is super common amongst even the library geeks and the quiet girl next door. Stats say that the average n count for a millennial woman in the US is 10.8. The median is 7.9. I’m sure those aren’t all relationships. Stats also say that 82 percent of women in the US have tried casual sex at least once. 70-80 percent of them have had a ONS. These are all survey results and so self reported.
/r/askTRP11/05/21 01:44 AM

All that sounds perfect until you want kids. I’d say lineage is the only reason why someone would want to get into an LTR today.
/r/askTRP11/05/21 01:27 AM

I don’t think anyone is doubting the inherent biological feeling. Most people commenting are saying that in today’s world, that point is moot since every woman goes around. Some more , some less, some negligible.

Honestly, what I have come to realize is that promiscuity is so much beyond just n count. It’s a whole package that is evaluated through several factors. One of my friends recently, started dating a girl. She was also around 26 and had a notch count of around 8. He was happy that it was low and was going strong with her. For some reason however, she wasn’t using Facebook. Just used messenger and not the actual FB app. One day, she somehow messes with her messenger account and her FB account got …

The challenge is that it is extremely difficult to find attractive women these days that haven’t had casual sex. At least in my…

I can understand how you feel, given that I was in your shoes a few years ago. If you think that being alone will give you happiness, then that’s not a bad idea either. You could also continue your search for a virgin woman. Perhaps you will find one. Or maybe consider opening up yourself and changing with the world. It doesn’t make you a bad person. Just sets you up to be happier and less disappointed. Choose the path that you think suits you the best.

I started dating a girl that I really liked. She basically checked off all the boxes that i would usually consider valid for an LTR. Prior to that I had zero sexual experience. When we started dating, she voluntarily told me that she had cheated on her ex boyfriend during a trip to London. That didn’t sit well with me. We eventually broke up because cheating is a deal breaker for me. But the experience made me think about how out of tune with the world I was because of my inexperience. I had no …

The only thing stupid is your analogy of comparing nazism to statistical changes in the society. Affiliation to a particular group is a mental subscription concept. Doesn’t have anything to do with changing societal dynamics. To consider the same example, if I were to say that the percentage of people that identify as nazis has gone down substantially from what it was in 1975 to what it is today, then that is a valid statement. Hence if there is someone out there that only wants to marry a nazi,…

Yes but your point is moot on the fact that every culture evolves. The culture that you went to outside of your bubble, also evolved from what it was two decades ago to what it is today. No community stays in a social bubble. Speaking particularly of sex, communities where virginity was valued decades ago have now started valuing low n count because losing your virginity is no longer rare. Similar trends follow suit everywhere. So that “something else that you found elsewhere” is also an evoluti…

It’s not stupid at all. Times and culture evolve with the world. If you’re going to be in denial that people have a lot more sex these days than they used to in the past, say 25-30 years ago, then you’re basically going to be making silly rules for your own life and never be able to be happy. Either accept the world for what it has become or continue ranting online.

I’ve seen maybe one occasion of that happening back in my home country in India and even then the guy was 31. In the west is it really common for rich middle aged men to be dating early 20s women, in a conventional, non sugar daddy arrangement? I feel like I read that a lot on the pill pages. Depends on your face bro. I usually go with aviators. They seem to suit everyone. I like the reflector series. Colorful ones. But that’s just me and my friends say they look too flashy. You can go wrong with a pair of black aviators with golden frames. Look for cheaper brands that are affordable.

The issue here is more than her texting her ex. Maybe they are friends or whatever. Some people try that. I am more concerned about her telling him that she still thinks of him while she is already dating you. That’s something I would be cautious about. Why would she think about him , if she is with you ? Even if the thought came up in her head, why would she tell him that ? I’m usually not the one to suggest nexting people at the drop of a hat. But I would hate it if my LTR were to message her …

Why are you assuming that she will want to have kids ? Has she told you this expressly ? If not I wouldn’t assume. If it matters that much I’d have a conversation with her about this topic. Not about having kids with you, but her plans in general. She might lie but that’s something no one can do anything about. At your age, unless you date someone significantly younger, you are always going to have to worry about her having ridden the CC. Don’t fret over that. Assume that she did and then contin…

How do you know that she was banging for roof ? Maybe they just hooked up. As long as it wasn’t an arrangement between them, I’d assume it was just a random hookup. You have been with her long enough to vet her I’m assuming. Does she seem to be the kind of person that would bang for roof ? Is she financially weak or deficient ? Use your intuition. What’s the point of living with her for so long and not knowing her well enough to know whether she would do something like that ?

There’s nothing wrong with caring. One should care for everyone around them. Just don’t get oneitis for a wrong person and don’t let your compassion make you beta or weak. Beyond that if you start caring for them, that’s just who you are. Embrace it.
/r/askTRP05/05/21 11:08 AM
2

If you don’t like certain aspects of her social life, you have every right to expect her to change those things. It’s not insecure or beta. Wanting her to change certain habits of hers is not losing frame. How you communicate that expectation determines your frame. I’m not saying condition her or be mean and rude and controlling. That comes off as weak and stupid. But I’m sure you can be firm in conveying that you don’t necessarily enjoy the fact that she is out so much.

You can’t. If she wants to cheat, she will find a way and there’s nothing one can do to prevent it. Even if you lock her up in a tower, she will find someone to climb into the tower using her hair. What you focus on are two things. Firstly continue working on yourself without her being the motivations it keeps her in check and somewhere wires her to believe that you’re the best she can have. Secondly, instead of Focussing on how to prevent her from Cheating, focus on becoming the guy that won’t …

Same here. The moment a girl offers to reach for the check, it’s a good sign in my head. My current LTR flat told me before the second date, that she would love to meet again but only if I let her pay. She makes a little less than 1/2 of what I do. But the gesture itself speaks a lot.
/r/askTRP05/05/21 10:52 AM

I agree with this. Being born in a certain year is no reason to be superior to others. Being sensitive to age oriented issues is one thing. But some people want respect based on the sheer fact they they’re elder yo you :|. It’s far far worse in the east trust me.

I used to struggle with accepting this as well. It was hard for me to swallow. Happens in college and grad school as well. Get used to it and stop giving a fuck. It will take time but eventually it will have zero impact on you.
/r/askTRP05/05/21 10:48 AM
2

Just talk to her and set a frame for her to communicate her issues with you. Perhaps she has had a bad experience in the past or grew up introverted. But do so only once and also be ready to come to you for every issue if she starts going the other extreme. These kind of things can be smoothened out over time. I won’t sweat.

I agree with you on some aspects. I recently read an article where a trans person chose to not reveal her being a trans to a date and then when he found out and said he didn’t want to have sex with her, she gout angry and blew him up on the internet. While I agree that some aspects of the movement might be extreme and require to be condoned, overall a person should support communities that require support. In case she can’t respect that, you are not obligated to have concern for her. Build a frame for yourself and establish the rules around it. Some women and a few men think that it’s ok for them to be “platonic friends” after the relationship is over because they won’t want bitter relations etc. The truth is that post relationship dynamics are seldom platonic. There’s always that sexual chemistry that lingers between those two people. I wouldn’t be comfortable at all if my LTR were to be texting her ex. I stay in DC and went to business school. Hence that crowd is mostly liberal and sex positive. Even if someone has strong opinions, they don’t openly declare them out of fear of judgment. This is a one liner summary to the entire debate about casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/21 09:31 PM
2

I think want is an open ended term here. It could mean that they want to incorporate it as a regular part of their lifestyle. It could also mean that they want to try it and get it over with. It could also mean that they use it to end a dry spell or because they need validation, like you said. In my opinion, most women experience it a little and then get over with it. Very few would actively choose it over a solid relationship, unless they have very different priorities.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/21 09:30 PM
10

Hahaha exactly. Most men here tend to think casual sex means way different than what it actually is.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/21 09:24 PM
6

I think the mistake you make is assuming that every woman that has had casual sex is promiscuous. Promiscuity is a spectrum and just because a woman dips her toes in casual sex 2-3 times over a period of say 10 years does not make her promiscuous.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/21 09:20 PM

I don’t get it . If they’re using it to get a relationship, how is it casual ? I thought casual sex only entailed ONS or FWB.

I think this has a lot to do with motivations. I myself sometimes find myself lacking a lot of motivation. I always used to think that life would be much better when I had a lot of money. Arranged marriages have a low divorce rate because of social taboo and stigma. Not because the folks in the marriage are happy. If you study the divorce rates in the larger metropolitan areas within SE Asia, the divorce rate is super high. And several of the ones that don’t end up in divorces, involve unhappy people.

Once a girl becomes of an age where she is legally allowed to marry, she has several options, one of which includes : marry a guy and become a SAHM. In that situation she wouldn’t have to pay rent. Ma’am what world are you living in ? The ppd sub is full of men that scream out hoarse that they would die to marry a virginal woman that stays at home and cooks. Surely those may not be the men the girl wants to be with. But that’s again a choice. Not a mandate.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 04:14 AM
3

That’s a self chosen expense. Nobody compelled the woman to have to get into a situation where she has to pay rent. She could have chosen to get married and live rent free as a SAHM. Or become a nanny and stay with the family that she works for. She chose to manage her own life and choose a job other than those two. She had every right to do that. But it’s not a mandate.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 04:11 AM

What do you mean they have to ?!! Where is the mandate ?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 03:25 AM

Yep. I agree. Being a stay at home wife or partner has its own set of responsibilities. It’s essential to comply with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 12:14 AM

Because when they fought for it they did not perceive it as a burden. They perceived it as the right to work and be paid for it. And yes, if a woman doesn’t want to work, she doesn’t have to. I think women fought for the choice to work. They didn’t fight to have it mandated. Anyone that shames a woman for opting to be a trad wife is wrong.

Society not putting a burden on women to earn is not privilege at all. It is a continuation of age old norms that have attempted to keep women away from engaging in non household oriented roles. Since this was a practice since ages, dislodging it will take a lot of time. During those times, women kept on maintaining traditional household roles, thought the proportion kept reducing bit by bit through generations. Hence what appears to be a privilege of being absolved from a responsibility to earn…

I learnt this after being friend zoned during undergrad. The ideal approach is to opt for neither extreme. Don’t be too distant or hard to get. At the same time , don’t be over friendly or try to compensate. Just be normal. It will send across a message that you are secure enough to handle the rejection and over some time, as you continue to improve yourself, she may feel differently. Whether you want her then or not is your choice though.

So you’re saying that the high n woman will choose to cheat on her partner at the exact same time that they are trying to start a family ? Most couples either use protection or birth control during sex. The only time that either is removed, is when they’re starting a family. So the woman will choose that exact duration or interval to sleep with another man and get impregnated by him ?

I fail to understand this argument. What’s the logic behind her making you raise someone else’s kids? You will be exclusive with her way before she gets pregnant right ? There is nothing wrong or awkward about being a stay at home mom. Women never advocated for dislodging that as a valid option. Women fought for CHOICE. The right to be able to choose whether to work or to be a SAHM. Women rebelled against this tradition because it represents an inactive participation in community and society. Just like not being allowed to vote. I don’t think that women rebelled to have the identify of a SAHM tarnished. They rebelled against being compelled to do so. It’s about …

Depends on how old my prospective partner is: Between 20-25 : 5-8 Between 25-30 : 9 -13 Between 30- 35 : 14 I guess. I focus more on how the notches came. If they came mostly from frequent hookups and casual sex with random men, then the lowest of numbers will not impress me. But if I see a genuine attempt to establish relationships with the occasional encounter with casual sex, I wouldn’t care too much.

Wiser words have never been said. On one hand you want women to be more sex positive so that you can enjoy more sexual experiences, but on the other hand you promote an environment where you will slut shame women for putting out. You are defeating your own purpose. Stop slut shaming. Period. You should be coming across as someone that women feel comfortable sleeping with. Not someone who she thinks will judge her for showing her ankle.

Bro homosexuality is not something to be ashamed of. I would understand if your father had somewhat limiting beliefs about it, given that he is from a different generation. But the right thing for you to do is to support her at a time like this and ensure that she manages to feel that you can be a dependent sibling. If you think that she would change her mind after hooking up with guys, let her figure that out on her own. But try and support her in whatever way possible:)

If you think that a young woman that’s 18-24, has a lesser chance of hurting you in love, do not for once reel under this misapprehension. /r/TheRedPill24/04/21 12:14 AM

Those men are not loved for their bods. Their bods are overlooked because of the other values they bring into their spouse’s lives. If adjudication was happening purely on a bod basis, dad bods won’t be preferred over lean muscle.

Women saying that they like dad bods is their equivalent of saying they like nice guys. It’s mostly a facade put up to defeat the notion of them wanting higher standards in the men they date. They don’t like dad bods and they don’t like nice guys either.

/r/askTRP23/04/21 04:04 PM

When did I say anything about LTRing them ?! I just said that women are capable of doing that. Hence my idea was to challenge the bifurcation and not to say that I would ever LTR a woman like that. I would not.
/r/askTRP23/04/21 03:42 PM

Yes. This is so true. People need to stop categorizing women into nice girls and sluts. Every woman is both. Just different sides come out at different times. It might be a tough spot you are in OP. It also appears that there have been a plethora of varying comments that are advising you to approach this differently. Here are my two cents: Don’t think that she cannot be a good LTR just because she had a crazy past. I am sure she can be. The main paradox is the why behind it. Most people would agree that the reason she is choosing to be in an LTR and giving it her everything it because she has outlived her “crazy” life and now she wants to settle down …

I guess it depends on a bunch of things. How many js a lot ? What are your chances of finding someone with a more tame sexual experience? Have you vetted her present and future potential well enough ? Does she have any red flags? Does she add emotional/ physical/tangible value to your life ?

How do you define promiscuity? What’s the metric to determine it ? Different people have different standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 01:53 PM
6

If your only metric to determine the “best” is past relationships history and nothing else, then maybe you should stick to that standard. Most mature people look beyond that and vet a person based on who they are today. The past of a girl should be a relevant factor but not the only factor in determining compatibility.
/r/ExRedPill21/04/21 12:01 AM
12

Because she grew to not like those people as much to she got cheated on or there were logistical issues like having to move for work ?!? What kind of a question is this ?! These are all reasons why she may have had failed relationships without it being her fault. Even if it was her fault, she’s a human being and allowed to make mistakes. As long as she didn’t cheat or date someone that was cheating, it doesn’t make her wrong.
/r/ExRedPill20/04/21 11:59 PM

Why would you worry about point number 5? If anything that shows that she is into exploring her sexuality with her partner. Plus he was a serious boyfriend. That is definitely one of the points you are over thinking about. :)

So much debate doing the rounds. And yet not one proper consensus on what high n count is. For all you know, everyone might be arguing about completely different categories of people because of no clear definition for “high n count”.

I never reframed my strongest of Indian accents. Why should I be ashamed of who I am and where I belong to ? Got plenty of lays nevertheless. The idea is to be confident in your skin and embrace who you actually are

Maybe in Portugal. In the US, for millennials, it is in the average to above average range. At least for people that want to have sex.

Have you ever thought of the fact that by holding 10 as a threshold, you are perhaps skewing your perspective? I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that an average woman that leads a normal life can end up having 10-12 partners by age 30. When I think high n count, I think 20 by age 30. 10-12 by age 30 is perhaps average or above average IMO.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 02:42 AM

Yeah but like a better car. I mean you can’t say that you can ever have enough money. Even if you’re satisfied in the lifestyle that you have, you could still enjoy a better one, given that you don’t have to compromise much for it.

All I can say is that it’s best for you to work on developing a mindset where you won’t be affected at all in case she does cheat, rather than being able to tell signs that she is. If somebody has to cheat, she would do so even if she weren’t in an “easy to cheat in” environment. And if someone has good control, then she won’t do it no matter what. That’s crap. There is no one specific religion from where virginity stems as a virtue in society. There are a plethora of countries in SE Asia and the Middle East where virginity is strictly enforced as a standard and Christianity is a very small section of that society. Also, to your point of men and women always being available for sex to their partner is wrong too. It defeats the very notion of consent. Prolonged denial of sex to the other is wrong and defeats marital obligations. But to say …

/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 06:31 PM

This is why virginity until marriage is a messed up concept. People should be given a chance to explore each other sexually and check compatibility before getting married. If the woman changes her stance after marriage and suddenly becomes unavailable or less enthusiastic due to reasons other than the ones beyond her control, I would consider it wrong and misleading.

Isn’t this an assumption? She could be buying a good education for the children, a shared mortgage on a car, expensive electronics for the household, etc etc. Seems to me that your objections stems from the fact that she doesn’t contribute proportionally enough to the household. If that’s the issue, it’s unfair. But if she does actually contribute enough, why is it still an issue ?

Those are two different things right ? She can be physically attractive and still have a career? Those are two mutually exclusive things. I’m not saying that having a career will be able to help supersede a lack of physical beauty. But then within the group of women that are attractive enough to LTR, her income does impact your savings doesn’t it ?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 04:08 PM

Think you didn’t read the entire comment of mine. Never justified wifing up a slut. But how you determine sluttiness, is contingent on several factors and not just n count. If you think that n count is the Bible of determining sluttiness, then you’re wrong and impractical both. For starters you can never tell whether she is being honest about her number. So, no thank you I wouldn’t obsess over her number, unless it is super high and instead vet her on my own.

I’m a guy and I don’t go to clubs. Before I got into an LTR, I never went out to clubs and bars on weekends. I did stuff that I enjoyed and tried to meet new people. That is EXACTLY how most of my casual sex happened. If you go there with the specific intent of picking up chicks, you may be disappointed. But if you live your life and do stuff that you enjoy, you have a far better chance of getting casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 02:51 PM

Lol ok dude. I mean I’m sure your experience is the ideal prototype for how the word operates. Btw, my uncle, who is 55 goes to the bar sometimes to catch a drink with his buddies. I guess it’s safe to say that bars have older people too ? Seriously man, get up and go outside into the real world and do normal stuff for yourself. Yoh will get a lot more chances at scoring.

How do you develop skills ? You do so by going out, meeting more people, making a few mistake, learning from them and eventually becoming a more attractive person overall. You don’t have to “game” women to get them to sleep with you. She is a human being that needs sex. She will sleep with you if you’re a pleasant person that has an impressive personality. Experience helps you get there. Listening to YouTube coaches that are basically monetizing your situation won’t do shit.

Because you probably don’t have a lot of sex going on in your life or never have, you do everything with the agenda of finding sex. Whether it’s joining a book club or going to a bar. Most normal and sane people live their life, incorporate hobbies as part of it and the sex then happens. I didn’t say go to the club with the intent of getting your Willy wet. I said go there, meet people, expand your circle and then you will have more people to interact with and potentially fuck.

It’s not stupid. It happens WAY MORE than you think. You are ignorant to think that is doesn’t. And no one talks like that and parades it in front of others. This is exactly how most normal people who are not bar or club hoppers or don’t always scout the dating apps, get laid.

Here’s my two cents on this: AF/BB exist in a way that women change their priorities when they are seeking marriage and LTRs, while getting close to the age of marriage. Even if they were seeking and maintaining LTRs previously, they won’t necessarily vet aspects such as financial security and parenting skills during those ones as much as they would during the time when they want to get married. Prior to that compatibility and physical attraction will matter a lot more than it would then. Financ…

For a woman that is around 30, a high body count would be somewhere around 20. 10 is like less than 1 per year. If you’re in a big city or have been to college, 10 is too easy at age 30 or so.

I agree. But then worry isn’t something that a lot of people can control. The mind wants what it wants, especially in a relationship.

If a girl that hoe-d around finds a guy that she really want to settle in an LTR with, she is going to do everything in her power to pretend to be miss goody good girl. She doesn’t even have to do it for that long. Just enough to get habituated .
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 02:04 PM

I agree. Especially when it comes down to something like casual sex, a lot of people feel inhibited in getting in the stride of it, due to taboo. Thereafter, the more you spend time with otherwise cool and fun people that occasionally engage in casual sex, the more you consider opening up yourself

I think you overlooked my second last paragraph. The ignorance was never blatant or super obvious. It was subtle and engrained in extremely routine stuff. I’m not saying they were discriminating. I’m saying that they had preferential behavior towards certain people. Also I never claimed that those women were hot. Not being racist is fundamental. Most people aren’t racist to others on their face. Neither was I saying that those instances were prototypes of those women’s preferences in the dating …

I knew there would be some moron who would make this about race. I didn’t mention race as a determinant here. Just that in my examples, the prettier guy was white. You could replace him with your black friend and the effect would still be the same. This doesn’t have anything to do with white vs colored people. This is an example about good looking and high social value people versus average joes that don’t have exceptional social skills or looks.

I think for a lot of men the case is not that they didn’t try to do social things or didn’t try to embrace the fun side of life. They tried to do that and realized a clear distinction between how they are treated versus how handsome and witty men are treated. I am a man of color in the US. Nope. Median literally means that half the people within the US had sex with more than 5 partners and half of them had less than 5. Someone may have had 100 sexual partners and they would still not impact the median, because despite their high count, they would still be counted as one single unit on the median scale. The same as someone that had just 6 partners. That’s how medians work. Median acts as a divide between those that have an ability to have sex due to several factors such as attracti…

I think what you’re saying makes sense. It’s a valid way of looking at it. My argument wasn’t to validate choosing women with a casual sex history as an LTR. It was mostly to embrace the idea that it is somewhat difficult for men to be able to locate women that have never partaken in casual sex. Or say to disqualify an otherwise amazing woman merely because she got involved in casual sex once or twice in her life. I am not sure whether, when you meant 15 previous partners being to high for you, …

I agree with that. I think the core issue is that despite sexual behavior having changed drastically over what is was earlier, the idea of a perfect marriage where two soulmates come together has not. I feel that gone are the days where marriage used to be holy matrimony between two people coming together to celebrate life and companionship. Today it’s got more to do with just having a live in partner and sharing expenses. With divorces becoming more and more common and easier and also the fact …

That’s exactly what I would define it as well. It’s the most legit definition. But are you saying that 1-3 instances of casual sex which fall in the category of what you mentioned in your first paragraph would disqualify a partner for you ?

1

Seriously. When will people realize this ?! A lot if women would say that since were earning today as well, it’s ok for us to equate with men on everything such as casual sex. What they don’t understand is that even today, the pressure and expectations of a man to earn have a far higher threshold than that of a woman. Same applies for women and sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 09:19 PM
3

How is that an issue ? What’s the practical problem associated with that, other than it being something that wasn’t so prevalent in the past ?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 09:08 PM
3

I did nothing of that sort. The question refers to casual sex. Unless you specify otherwise, everyone is going to assume that you meant to refer to that when mentioning “sleeping around”. Anyway I agree. Rampant casual sex that is reckless and which accompanies poor efforts for an LTR search is not a green signal for someone looking to establish something meaningful with that person.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 08:53 PM
2

Coz they want different things at different points in life ? During the party years they want casual sex and crazy experiences. Post 28 they want to settle down and seek LTR’s. During the former, they care about wit and sexual capabilities etc more than they would during the latter. During the latter, they might focus more on the man’s income, status and leverage.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 07:32 PM

You do realize that median doesn’t mean average right? Median of 5 means that 50 percent of the US population has had more than 5 sexual partners where as 50 percent has had less than 5. Given that most people stay in the coastal areas, I would be willing to assume that the former category comes from the more thickly populated and progressive coastal areas, which is where sexuality is a major issue in the first place. Not a lot of people would be concerned about the sexual behavior of Susie, liv…

Semantics are important here. What else would be important while evaluating promiscuity ? You said you have had two hookups. And yet don’t sleep around. A lot of people will identify having had two hookups at 21 as sleeping around. That’s why it becomes important to identify the definition and scope of terms, especially when having a FWB with a guy you know well and having a gang bang with 10 other dudes are all put under the ambit of “casual sex”.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 07:23 PM

You could try. But don’t think that there aren’t any foul women in other countries. I am from south east Asia originally and I practiced as a lawyer there for 6 years. Women churn and I mean churn the life out of their husbands during divorce proceedings in lost SE Asian countries. Yes, they may be a little less promiscuous. But that also means the sex will suck. And it nowhere guarantees that they won’t try to go for every penny that you have during divorce proceedings.

Isn’t it better to not discuss it ever then ?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 05:45 PM

Having one or two casual hookups does not equate sleeping around. My question referred to women ever having had casual sex. Not the occasional or two casual encounter/fling over a sexually active life of 10-12 years.

Yeah dude but women won’t advertise their casual intent on dating apps right ? I think most women want to find serious relationships but end up having the occasional casual encounter when they have the chance ? So for them, the intent to go on dating apps is to find a serious relationship. Just that sometimes they meet an attractive guy that is looking for casual and then end up hooking up with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 04:54 PM
1

Ah I see what you’re saying. Yes that makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 04:51 PM

There isn’t anything wrong with that at all. Anyone that tells you otherwise is wrong and should be asked to shut up. My main point was that your aversion to dating such women is not to slut shame, but because you have not had the chance to follow a similar lifestyle. Am I correct ?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 04:32 PM
1

If you’re looking to meet women in that age range , how will you meet them if they’re not actively looking for LTRs ? Also what’s a high number? Isn’t that subjective?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 04:30 PM

Oh yeah. Women tend to slut shame just as much if not more than men. Also is the culture dead ? I thought the world was getting more and more sex positive everyday ?

/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 03:43 PM

What is your take, as a left leaning man, on LTRing someone that has had casual sex before ? Not in a reckless, every night different guy kind of way. But perhaps the occasional hook up or casual fling once or twice over a period of 10 -12 sexually active years
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 03:37 PM
1

They openly acknowledge to doing this ?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 03:33 PM
3

So you’re saying that the only way to have casual sex is a high n count ?! What about a girl that has had an n count of 3 and all 3 were casual partners versus a girl that has had an n count of 5 and all were LTRs. You are assuming that anyone that has had 1-2 instances of casual sex ever, makes a lifestyle out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 02:57 PM
11

You are wrongly equating having had casual sex with having a high n count. A woman could have a low n count and still have had casual sex. By your logic, woman that had 5 LTRs is a worst bet than a woman that had 4 one night stands at a club. N count can’t be considered empirically. It has to be considered with context

Hooking up with strangers that you meet on snap and ig is not the same as having a FWB with someone that you know well over a period of time. Casual sex is a spectrum. There’s a lot that entails within that with varying degrees of risk and damage.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 02:05 PM
2

Well yeah the woman you described in the second paragraph is the woman that I was referring to. I agree with your contention of probably being apprehensive about Wifing her up. But a lot of guys equate having ever had casual sex with being the same as going home with a new guy every night. Those guys are the ones that are naive and illogical.

A lot of guys disqualify her as well.
