You got this bro! You can’t eat cake in a whole bite, but you wouldn’t nibble on shit. You took some licks and the weight in on you right now. Try small things to improve your life each day. You can’t achieve what you don’t track. Set goals short term and long term. Take it one day at a time and we will be here for you.

Glad to hear this is pretty common. My place used to be as movie neat, ever since I got into a serious relationship we accumulated so much junk. There’s just piles of bills and boxes in all corners. I promised myself I’d never live in slum land again after a breakup in college and here I am. Probably looking forward to this most. Appreciate it man. Almost deleted this post this morning when I went to work but the words of support from you guys let’s me know it ain’t so cold out there forever.

Thanks man. The days since we had the conversation go from roommate status to super depressing depending on the day. Just a few more months until our lease is up. Definitely starting to realize they were never my friends and just part of the spouses friends. Family is same, very gossipy and I have a big family that just eats this shit up. Thanks for the link I’ll check it out after work!

Hey man same boat at 30! I think the best way to kill the silence is to set up the vibe in your place. I eat the cost of extra power and play my favorite tunes all day on Spotify. I found this helps set the mood of my crib and gives a background to the place. When ever I enter there is music playing and gets me out of my darkness and sadness. We can do this!

Reminder that these are comedians, not counselors or therapists. Don’t spread the hate you can do this and be positive.

I’m glad this isn’t happening with kids and drugs like some of these guys on here.

I can’t figured out why she doesn’t trust me. She is a very big planner and strategic and I’m more of an instinct person and a big fish story teller. I’ve never cheated or stolen money ( she controls all of our money on a shared account but we also both work full time).

Early thirty’s she is late 20s , thanks for the advice, we did pre marital and it didn’t help either on the same issues. I’m afraid if we end up getting a house or kids it’ll only be more complicated

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
