Yeah! For sure. I replied to someone a bit earlier and said that we did continue to talk, but that wasn't relevant to this post. So I did keep it going! Thanks!

Dude, thanks so much! I appreciate the detail you went into on this! I definitely have plans to move on from just coffee, and figured when the venue changes it allows for me to easily escalate flirting, "aggressiveness" with that, and more gutsy actions. Because if you introduce one change, you can implement other changes without them sticking out like a sore thumb. Thanks again!

Concerning point one: I thought it was freaking smooth to be honest. My first approach, first shot ever of asking someone out, and I'm 18. Girls my age kinda like that stuff, she's not a grown woman if you catch my drift. So I think this situation was totally fine for it. Concerning point two: We are meeting at 4:00 next Tuesday and I have plans to move it from coffee to dinner to a movie. Lame, I know it's the classic "dinner and a movie" date, but we're both really into film and the new Hobbit…

Awesome, thanks so much! I'll definitely be thinking of a venue-change depending on how it goes.

Just to clear that up, I wasn't like "okay bye" but we still chatted a bit, but it wasn't relevant to this post. But I agree! Brush it off , it's not a big deal. :)

Yeah man, I've gotten friend zoned before a lot. Finally decided to be a bit more aggressive in my approach and I got a girlfriend! Granted, she broke up with me, but hey, at least I got there! So the best advice I can give is be natural, but most importantly be ballsy. Go with your gut!

Yup! And that's what I'm planning on doing. Just gonna get to know her and talk in person (we've been texting a bit, not much though). And who knows, maybe interest will spark when she gets to know me! If not, that's fine. It wouldn't have worked out if she doesn't like me. Haha

Awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much! I wasn't sure if it was a test or not, so I just kinda went with my gut and left it neutral. I mean, this was my first approach, so I'm definitely no expert in it! And yeah, I guess you're right about it being the worst possible situation. Haha. I'll just look at it as hanging out with a friend. I'm kinda low on the friend-count right now since my ex broke up with me and they all kinda leave me alone now which sucks. So even if I d…

Yeah, I gotcha! I figured she's not looking for anything serious right now, and I kinda just want to hang out with her and get to know her better so that's why I kept it neutral. But in the future I'll definitely keep that in mind!

Oh, forgot to add that I'll definitely be confident and move quick. I've got literally nothing to lose from this other than her, so I've decided I'll be ballsy and borderline reckless.

Thanks for the pointers! I honestly wouldn't mind being friendzoned like I'm totally chill with whatever happens. She's a cool girl and it'd be fun just to hang out! I'm looking at local venues right now to see what'll be playing near us because we're both really into music. As for the alcohol, I'm only 18 (she is as well) so that's kind of a no-go. Haha. But thanks again!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
