Agree with the vasectomy. And as far as the apps go, I’ve been pretty successful -although I’m near a large city. If you’re having trouble- check out some guides of how to set up your pictures, and be honest upfront about what you’re looking for. And then just be yourself and be patient. I’ve spent more time this summer with my friends than ever before. Your life can be something great without a relationship- so you got this dude

This community is great btw- keep following- and know that you’re not alone in this. It’ll feel like a mess, but there’s other guys going thru it and this is a good place to vent and ask for advice

I’ll second that I like this thread too. I’m still separated, cohabitating and waiting on paperwork - and it’s comforting knowing that I’m not the only one dealing with shit. Every guys situation is different - but there’s parts of the divorce process that hits you different than anything else in life, and to find other guys that know that. It’s pretty cool

This reminds me of something my old man said at one point: “Don’t buy cheap things that come into contact with the ground regularly.” ( he was referring to car tires and shoes mostly )

Had the last 6 yrs with stbx ‘s fakes. They’re different- but still awesome ;) the fact that she had no more nipple stimulation was a bit of a bummer though

I’m a teacher that has a dad-joke per week with my students…. Here are a few that I can remember offhand: Why’d the bike lose the race? How do you organize a space party? What do you call a beehive without an exit? Answers: 1: it was too tired You plan-it Un-bee-leave-able Love it!!

I met my wife when I was 20… I’m 38 now. Been a minute. I’m interested in when did y’all start dating? I feel like I’m living a celibate life this last year, and while I’m not wanting to rush into anything - when does that part change?

I’m with you man. We’re separated but still living together and I’ve had so many thoughts this holiday season, knowing I probably won’t be in the house for next Xmas. It’s crazy how many guys are in this same tough situation. You got this bro, try to be as positive as you can

I’m 38 w two kids and trying to decide if a vasectomy is right for me. My stbxw couldn’t have any more kids, so I never thought about it, but I’m thinking two are good for me. How much do you think having a vasectomy affect your chances / dating options?

Just wanted to say I’m in the same boat man. “Separated” last 6mo but still living in the house. Staying for holidays with the kids. Not in the bedroom- she’s the one initiating leaving- I want to still work on it. It sounds so familiar to so many stories on here. All of her family is wondering what is going on with her, and I’m just trying to hold it all together. Good luck in the new year mate, stay strong for the kiddos 👍🏻

I’m in the same boat. She “tried” as hard as she could, and now she’s giving up and my efforts are “nice, but too late.”

Just saying I second this. The gym has had a huge impact on my ability to look myself on the mirror- and bigger muscles and/or less fat doesn’t hurt either. Just find a gym/routine that works for you and stick to it. My gym is small but has a group of the same people I see all the time. Now I notice I go to bed earlier just cause I know I’m gonna wake up and hit the gym before work. Makes me feel accomplished before I even do any “work” for the day.
