In a cold approach setting, I agree. Nothing to lose. Within a social circle, or at parties etc. where people know you: absolutely fucking not

Idk about this one. Great way to become known as the guy who's oblivious to social cues

No way. I improved my value drastically over the years, got fit, 'Alpha type' leadership job, good income, interesting hobbies (skydiving) What changed? Exactly nothing. Unless you put yourself out there and approach, you're invisible. Unless you're Model-tier attractive

That's a habit people picked up from mystery. He used it to catch attention as women who are willing to say something about it are generally more receptive. Not a good idea for pua starters as you don't know how to take advantage of it. That's peacocking, dressing in noticeable / bright / extravagant clothes on purpose, to stand out. Dressing like a 5 year old because that's how you normally dress =! Peacocking

Stopped reading halfway through, but the girl sounds psychotic and you sound insecure Brush up on your writing skills too because this shit is incredibly frustrating to read

Judging by the way you write here, you sound like a personified cliche of the fedora wearing neckbard First step would be to not fulfill that cliche
/r/seduction15/08/22 04:46 PM

I've always wondered about that, I'm certainly not the most attractive and only slightly above average on a good day, but I had good success in clubs. All the bars I know are very static, where people sit down at a table with their group and don't move from said table. Almost like a Restaurant. Very hard to do pickup in such an environment

The concept of real life NPCs really seems more believable as the years go by... though this applies to men aswell.

The essence of this essay holds some merit, but: Starts with "before I tell you this secret" -> writes a whole novel "Coach" in his username Markets some easy to google self help tips as his ultimate wisdom Just like every other "coach", aka conman who just wants to shill his own brand and grab your money

What you said applies to 100% of seduction

I remember when Todd V was seen as the god-king of PUA on here like 3 years ago. Then he filmed that one unfortunate video of him acting "awkward" in a set, people made fun of him online and this sub quickly followed in shaming him. Around that time is when genuine outer game PUA tips started being frowned upon. Shame

The way I see it there are 2 ways to read into this FR. You can be inspired by his success and work on your own game and eventually see success, or you can think it is fake, and be salty and think nothing is so easy in game Textbook example of cognitive dissonance. Try to cope your way out of it, or actually face it and work on yourself

Exactly, I talked to another guy who was into the old school PUA-stuff recently (mystery method, etc.) and we both had a laugh about how ridiculous some of this shit is, looking back. All those whacky acronyms like IOI, kino, LMR, etc. make it sound so inhuman and Patrick Bateman-esque. But yet, all the outer game old school PUA stuff still holds some merit. I don't entirely agree with the extreme shift towards inner game on this sub / PUA circles in general either. Imo outer game is just as imp…

Kinda baffles me though, where I live (almost) everyone above the age of 18 has a car, and having a car isn't seen as high value, rather just as 'normal'. Unless you drive a sports car, obviously

TIL I'm tall Where I live that's average, "tall" starts at 6'1" here

Perhaps I wasn't clear, but I actually fully agree with you. "It will happen if you don't focus on it" is dogshit advice, you still have to be proactive.

I too went down the path of self improvement after reading Models, and while I did build a better life for myself than when I started, I never did it with the sole goal of getting female validation. That said, is my life better now? Yes, 100%. Do I have more success with women than before? Not by a lot. But that's kind of the point that Models drives home, it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. I was needy as fuck a few years ago, and while noone is ever free from seeking validation (to…

At this point I've honestly just accepted my lot in life - I probably won't get a 8/10 anytime soon, but I'm not completely hopeless either. Despite what this sub is saying about not thinking in leagues, I think it's important to not expect the results of a greek god gigachad when you're just average. Saves yourself a lot of frustration and headache, and isn't a deafitist attitude either.

Fair assessment I think, in my clubbing days it took 8-10 approaches on average to get something serious going - making out on the dancefloor was always surprisingly easy though (less than 5 approaches), it's the follow up that was hard to come by, since the ones that were down to make out would never be tied down long enough and look for the next guy to grind on within minutes

Great answer and fair enough, it's all about perspective and mine is a bit skewed. What I've also come to notice, despite all the "they will gravitate towards you if you focus on yourself", if you're not proactive you'll be a ghost, as an average guy. Guess it's back to the drawing board and approaching more

For real, like 2 years ago there was a myriad of weekly field reports and people like Todd Valentine were almost worshipped here. Now whenever someone mentions the mere basics of seduction like cold approaching, they get ridiculed and called creeps. What the fuck? Also, the Todd V situation. Somehow went from Messiah to villified "creep" In the old days it was believed that we had more power of her actual 'attraction' using all kinds of things like negs and cold reads and DHV stories and stuff, …

Fun fact, the disgusted face was directed towards me, I interpreted it as her showing her bf 'totally wasn't into this dude, you see!'. Her legit finding me disgusting looking wouldn't make sense, wouldn't have been friendly at first just to pull a face out of nowhere So all around two shitty people

Interesting angle, never thought about it that way
/r/seduction26/08/19 01:39 AM

Fair point, though this wasnt the kind of club where people pull knives. Going out to actually brawl is definitely idiotic, my plan is to get the bouncers to peacefuly remove the guy, since I've been friends outside of that club with them
/r/seduction26/08/19 01:22 AM

Idk, to me that feels too much like giving up, because the dude will think he won and you're afraid

People keep repeating this ad nauseum, but honestly I'm not sure it's true. I'm in a phase right now where I can say with certainty that I am 100% content with life and proud of myself, and while my success is certainly greater than in the times where that wasn't the case, that's not by a huge margin..

Some girls can be unnecessarily rude, it's a risk you take with every approach. I had some girls pull a (overemphasized) disgusted face when I approached at times for example. Some might say that's a shit test but idk. Others I K-closed within 30 mins, so I cant be that disgusting. It's all a numbers game. I know how shitty it feels to be rudely rejected, but by taking the risk to get your balls busted you are already better than 90% of the other dudes out there. Never give up!

The jealousy thing was something I thought of too. But she was being touchy feely even when he wasnt looking/ near us, so idk. Could still be very true though. The point of me disqualifying myself if shes looking for something serious was the idea, to see if we're compatible. If she wants something serious while I dont, then we're not compatible. Lots of great advice in your post, especially the bit about deep diving really shone some light into that topic for me Thanks a bunch man

Alrighty, greatly appreciate the effort Here we go: 1 I'd say about 2-3 hours. Alcohol was involved and we went clubbing both times. 2 Girl #1: Her occupation, making genuine compliments on it. She was a child nurse, I told her that job wouldn't be my cup of tea, but I respect people who do social work like that. Girl #2: Also occuption (warehouse work), told her how I badly I was lost with that kinda work when I did at 16. Proceeded to tell her I didn't like it because ol' 16 year old me had a …

Definitely not too clingy. Unless showing intent by saying 'hey I like you' is too clingy for them; in which case fuck them Now that I think about, the one commonality was that I mentioned to them how I was looking for a one night fling, by saying something along the lines of 'I enjoy the single life and look to keep it that way' Might be on to something here...
