Lack of population replacement means less people earning money to pay for retirees. I think you’re reading “everytime” wrong. These days I do 5 sets: - 10x67.5kg - 8x72.5kg - 6x77.5kg - 4x82.5kg - 2x82.5kg If I manage to do the full 4 on the 4th set, I’ll go higher on the last. If I fail on that set, as in only manage 2 or 3, the last is the same weight, and I’ll likely only hit 1 rep. I do this every week, Tuesday session.

Ii always use catch bars that are set just beyond my maximum range of motion. I don’t due squats to failure because for a few months failure mean tweaking my back and being out of commission for a few days. On the bench-press I push the bar a bit higher towards my neck, as I have it touch mid-chest in the reps. As the bar is sitting on the catch, I just slide under and pick up the bar like in a deadlift.

I have a common account for the day to day expenses. Once I get my salary, 15% goes to another joint savings account and we use no more that what is in the day account. You are right, but the current science doesn't take genetics as something separate to caloric intake (environment). The difference in caloric intake makes sets of genes express in certain ways, either exacerbating or dampening their effects. I'm in the same boat, except I have 3 you kids, so going to the gym together is not an option. I do try to lead indicating how important it is to be healthy, but she just does in in small spurts of commitment followed by stretches of inactivity. Depends on your objectives. I used cohabitation as a vetting process. I wanted to see the dynamic we would have living as couple with both working full time. I think the keeping fit is absolutely key. This week I've had a visit from some professional sailor friends I hadn't seen in over 7 years. They are obviously very fit given their demanding profession, but they were all astonished that I still looked the same after 7 years. No one is saying they should be punished, but with freedoms come responsibilities, and there are things that no one should take lightly. In my book, if you are a responsible person and make a mistake with birth control and sex, you don't abort unless there are overwhelming reasons that would keep the child from having a healthy life. I like the concept of your study, but as said elsewhere in the comments, this is just a function of average wages, in which there is an uncontrolled 23% gender gap. So you should consider doing the same as the gender wage gap studies and control for level of income or hours worked. If those results have a pronounced gender gap, you have a story. Otherwise you will quickly lose the argument due to the uncontrolled gender wage gap.

Yep, I see that I went wrong in trying to get her to pick the day. Won't let that happen again! To be fair, it's utterly ridiculous that there isn't paid maternity leave in the US, and that a lot of women don't qualify for even unpaid maternity leave. There is something to be said about allowing the bearer of your children to be able to take care of it for the first couple of months without worrying about sinking into debt, or even getting fired. It actually gets better as you look into the background. The whole thing is just a bit misguided. Sure, it's not right to only out up perfect 10 models on billboards, as some products don't need a perfect body to sell, as it isn't right to take pictures of perfectly attractive women and photoshop them to perfection, but it is very different than saying that all women should be models regardless of how fat they are, or that we should all find them beautiful.

This may work out so badly. I had a work colleague called Virginia. Our funky nickname for her was Susan's Gina (short for Virgina, but also used for Vagina in the local dialect) because who worked under anther one names Susan.
