Although this is a bit old, and has many comments now, I'll add my 2 cents regardless. I've read much of the conversation, and I think it really comes down to one thing. You are erroneously labeling yourself as a feminist, and trying to get us to side with you in the belief that feminism is in fact, a gender egalitarianism based venture. I don't see how making paternity tests mandatory for all child births would really equate to "forcing your beliefs on others". If anything it's a platform to allow for more stable, and appropriate legislation. At worst, it tells parents the information they already knew. How is this any different from say, doing preliminary blood tests to determine blood type, or really ANY OTHER TYPE OF TEST. If it is of no risk, nor consequence to the people involved, and they can opt out of seeing the results…
