That's normal imo. I keep a standard level of cleanliness but I won't bother making it spotless unless there's company coming over. Otherwise it doesn't bother me, and I think "what's the point? it'll just start getting dirty again in a few days."

Imagine aliens breeding humans with Down syndrome because they're "cute".
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 11:33 PM
1

It's the same as those cats with the squished faces. They're not cute, and they have trouble breathing. WTF is wrong with people breeding those things.

There's also alcohol. Not that I recommend it, trying to quit myself.

So does somebody who deliberately misinterprets what's being said in order to argue with the voices in their head. To each their own I guess.

Totally agreed, just had an experience like that today. I think they just get off on being contrarian smartasses.

True, we have won Miss Universe every year... it's like the other planets aren't even trying.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 08:10 PM

I was referring to the previous poster's argument. Holy crap, you've got issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 05:28 PM
1

Just say you hate men and be done with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 04:16 PM
1

No, most men who approach me have a reason to approach. They either need some kind of help or are just friendly and making small talk. But you just said men aren't entitled to your attention either way. Those men don’t follow women all over non social venues waiting for an opportunity to get those women alone, those men just start talking right in front of everyone! Can you imagine being honest and open about your intentions instead of a sneaky little fuck determined to get women alone? Who said…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 03:38 PM
3

No, it's because you automatically treat a man approaching you as "giving a sales pitch" and "believing you exist for his entertainment" not to mention the ubiquitous "wanting his dick wet" as opposed to somebody who thought you were nice/cute/interesting and wanted to approach you and get to know you better because men are still expected to approach and initiate if they want anything to happen. It really says a lot about your personality and views on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 03:27 PM
3

Again, you are free to live your life as a self-centered curmudgeon with no empathy if that's what you want. But other people have the right to point it out and discuss it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 03:14 PM

So you believe all those men just want to "smash and pass" and none are relationship material? Seems a bit cynical.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 03:00 PM
2

The topic is women treating men they find unattractive with rudeness and contempt. "Men just want to get their dicks wet" was your assumption, as if men are incapable of romantic attraction or as if sexuality is wrong and bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 02:59 PM
1

Which group is that?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 02:36 PM

If anything, that would be more reason for women to be polite rather than rude when rejecting. You don't want to insult or antagonize someone who's bigger and stronger than you.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 02:35 PM
2

The fact that you repeatedly reduce men's feelings and desires to "wetting their dicks" says everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 01:20 PM
10

You could even take it a step further and assume that whenever an unattractive person approaches you they are really trying to hit on you, and act with rude dismissal. According to some women around here that's perfect justified and logical.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 01:14 PM
2

Yes, we've already established that you consider unattractive men looking for romance subhuman trash.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 01:07 PM
1

Men are still expected to approach and initiate in most cultures. But more than that, you could apply that reasoning to asking a stranger for directions or any kind of assistance, and by your logic they would be justified in rebuffing you rudely. Why is your need for assistance more important than what they are doing? I don't think I'd like to live in a world like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 01:02 PM

Ironically your comments here tend to show a deep hostility and disdain towards men, making you exactly what the OP is talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 12:46 PM

A man’s desire to wet his dick is not more important than whatever a woman is doing and no, she isn’t required by any social expectation to kowtow and curtsey if she’s annoyed or disgusted by a pick up attempt. That's true. You are also not required to say hello or please or thank you, or hold a door open, or abide by any other social contract. If that's how you want to live your life and consider it justified, that's your business. I only hope you apply the same standards to others and don't ex…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 12:42 PM

Yeah, people of both genders can be immature assholes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 12:29 PM
6

Yep, I once asked a woman for directions because Google Maps wasn't working and she reacted like I was trying to hit on her.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 12:27 PM

I think you are willfully misinterpreting OP's point. He never said women should be obligated to accept all men's advances. But there is a difference between mere rejection and being actively rude and hostile when a man you deem insufficiently attractive approaches you - or even reacting with disgust at such men having any kind of sexuality whatsoever. His problem (and I agree it's a real thing) is with the latter.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 12:24 PM

But at the same time, wouldn't you agree that having 100 people interested in you makes for much better odds of getting a relationship, than having none?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 11:43 AM
1

Pretty much, except I don't think they want low tier men to become high tier. They just want those men to stop existing or at least become sexless inert beings. I've seen women on this very forum being against men improving themselves wrt dating, or learning seduction techniques of any kind.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 11:33 AM

There is definitely a current of women considering men they're not attracted to "gross" and "creepy" for having any kind of sexuality at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 11:31 AM
14

Rules of dating: 1. Be attractive, 2. Don't be unattractive. People make fun of this, but it's true.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 11:29 AM

And when is it unwanted? When the guy is unattractive. So an unattractive man approaching you is considered "rude and unpleasant". You've basically agreed with OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 11:28 AM

Some of it, yes. But I've personally seen many cases of women acting angry and disgusted when a guy they deemed unattractive even dared to approach them. I've also seen more hate and venom directed online towards "creepy" socially inept guys than actual grape-ists and abusers.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 11:25 AM

Hell, there have been reported cases of couples having an argument or even physical fight in public, some good samaritan guy stepped in, and they both attacked him or told the police that he started the fight. One more reason I'll be minding my own business.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 10:04 PM
3

Flirting and teasing are entirely different. Negging looks like half the lines on Napoleon Dynamite, and it's purely awful and awkward. Only when done badly. When applied correctly it's exactly the kind of "teasing and flirting" that you are okay with and claim outsider guys who see it as problematic/bullying are just jealous.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 03:09 PM
2

I know, I was agreeing with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 03:04 PM

Yeah, it's not complicated. The women have their fun with the players, then find some nice dependable, financially stable guy to date longterm / marry once they've gotten older and are "ready to settle down." Doesn't mean that guy was their first choice or even somebody they would've previously gone for. Note this also does not dismiss the existence of former or current assholes who are married, they do exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 03:00 PM

The Red Pill basically agrees with you - hot, confident assholes have the most success with women - yet somehow so many women and feminists rail against it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 02:47 PM
6

I've never seen anyone define teasing and banter as bullying, unless they're truly introverts with no social experience. But even teasing can be ambiguous. There's a reason the Red Pill advocates negging, which works but could be seen as bullying by an observer.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 02:41 PM
7

This is just the old "I can somehow sense that unattractive guys are creepy and toxic" excuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 02:39 PM
12

I can give you a definition if you want: A self-centered narcissist who throws his weight around and puts others down to make himself look superior. I can guarantee you these guys will have more success with women than a meek nerdy guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 12:31 PM
8

Yep, in fact women are attracted to strength and confidence even if the guy is an asshole. They are repelled by weakness even if he's otherwise a good person.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 12:28 PM

This doesn't really disagree with the OP though. Yes, women can demand more, but the question is what? I think what OP was railing against is the 'just world' idea that women don't put up with shitty behavior anymore so men have to do better, yet we see time and again that assholes with dark triad traits have no trouble attracting women and getting into relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 12:26 PM

I remember one guy reading women's opinions here and responding "all women lie, it's just what they do!" like what is even the point of engaging then?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 01:00 PM
1

A lot of dudes are desperate and pathetically thirsty, or will fuck anything that moves, I think is the idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/25 02:43 PM
1

And it gets incentivised by women, since they select on average the men, who get on top of the hierarchy, hence why since the existence of the homo sapiens only 40% of men, but 80% of women reproduced. Ask yourself the question, why we had in the past 60% men, who were genetic dead ends? Because the rich and powerful men kept all the women for themselves, while the low status men were sent to die in wars or just work all their life and get a wife if they were lucky. The women often didn't have a…

They don't have to be criminals, men are psycho assholes towards other men and redpill alpha bro types are proud of this fact and consider it natural. Just look at the rise of Andrew Tate and his ilk.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 10:42 AM

Yeah, a lot of people in my parents' generation basically just got together and got married because it was "the thing to do." People would regard you with suspicion if you were still single past 30.

You can like a specific type of personality and still be shallow, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 05:17 PM

While I agree in principle, I dream of the day when a Redditor will be able to disagree with someone without sounding like a passive-aggressive, condescending tool.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 01:21 PM

Here is my theory: Everyone is a little bit hypocritical. Let's say you were an alien trying to experience human life and asking people about food. Those who want to appear virtuous would recommend healthy, nutritious options even though they themselves might reach for greasy spicy fast food or sweets instead - they know it's bad for them, but it tastes so good they can't help themselves. I don't think it's particularly controversial to say that women have long been regarded as the more virtuous…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 01:18 PM

Well said, I think this is a good summary of the phenomenon. Women are attracted to strength and confidence, even if the guy is an asshole. They are repelled by weakness, even if he's otherwise a good person. That's about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 12:26 PM
1

I've always defined it as "the cocky, smirking asshole with a chip on his shoulder" and yes, I've met the type and they do attract women regardless of background or social class.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 12:22 PM
8

I agree that there's nuance. In my experience, a woman might fall for a "bad boy" because he appears strong, confident, resourceful and fun. Many of these guys are also good at manipulation and appear charming at first. Now as for women who repeatedly go for assholes, they are generally young and immature, have self-esteem issues, or are assholes themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 12:20 PM

Those are extremes though. I've also seen plenty of cute, sexy thicc women as opposed to skinny ones who didn't look that great. Note I said thick/curvy, not obese.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/25 01:15 PM

Yep, that makes sense. Not sure about 2 though, seems like they would get along if they were both gym rats, but I can see how it might get annoying/awkward going to the same gym. It's the same as dating a coworker.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/25 01:13 PM

The beginning legit made me think it was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khMlcTE7lw8
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/25 12:23 PM

I knew one dude who literally thought this. He kept close tabs on women he was dating, while also cheating on them. His reasoning was that he's the man and it's natural. He was one of those Andrew Tate alpha male types.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/25 12:21 PM

Wait, why are there shirtless dudes in the produce section? Oh, it's AI. The vaunted dad bod with messed-up hands :P

More than that, they feel bad for "lowering" themselves to date that guy who they deemed below their league. I think that's what bugs them the most.

"Obnoxious asshole bothers people minding their own business for internet clout" is probably not what they mean by that.

I worked at a Covid vaccination center during the pandemic. All the serious cases (meaning the ones who ended up in hospital, under oxygen therapy and some even dying) were unvaccinated. None of the vaccinated ones developed serious symptoms. Make of it what you will.

From what I've seen you've already proven yourself to be rude, hostile, and antagonistic to men. Could it be a self-fulfilling prophecy?

7 bachelors living by themselves, sounds right to me :)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 03:32 PM

So I've been experimenting with different spices in my cooking and I think I overdid it with the nutmeg. Added too much and didn't realize how strong it is. I still ate the food, but 2 hours later and I can still taste it 😂

While I think Family Guy and The Simpsons have both gone down in quality, FG is worse. Simpsons is like an old washed-up comedian who still makes you laugh once in a while. New FG is like the drunken uncle who tells dirty jokes during Thanksgiving dinner and thinks he's hilarious.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 02:53 PM

Alright, let's assume you have more experience in this field than I do. Care to enlighten me where I'm wrong, or would you prefer to continue being snide?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 02:26 PM

What? He only "wins" by continuing to get a reaction from you. Remember that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 02:22 PM

That's more serious, I agree, but ignoring or responding with good humor still works. Unless you're dealing with psychopaths on a regular basis, in which case you have my sympathies and should maybe look into moving.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 02:20 PM

Mazel tov :)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 02:18 PM

There's always gonna be trolls and weirdos, just ignore them. I never understood those who claim they're being "harassed" online, when it's so easy to block or ignore those people. Or even step away from the screen for a while. :P
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 02:16 PM

Yep, you are free to choose the guy whose life you want to ruin.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 02:05 PM

Yep, I'm getting borderline too old for kids anyway, not that I ever wanted them. I value my peace and freedom way too much. This cursed bloodline shall end with me. :p
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:57 PM

"I hate when people follow and reply to me on this public forum site!" like wtf did she want
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:55 PM

Just pick whoever you want, it's your business.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:50 PM

I think it's a sign of possible issues, just like guys who are into humiliation or findom. But as long as it's between consenting adults, what can ya do.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:21 PM

Probably just being friendly, some women are huggers.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:19 PM

Studies have shown that if you give up smoking, alcohol, caffeine, processed foods and sugar and replace them with healthy habits, you can eliminate up to 90% of whatever joy you have left in your life. :P

To paraphrase Seinfeld, I'd be a little uncomfortable knowing the only thing separating them from me is a thin layer of spandex :p
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:07 PM

The guys who get picked can be just as unhinged, the difference is looks and social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:03 PM

I would hope so.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:02 PM

Stay strong brother. I wish more men would learn to ignore women unless they have direct business with them. Male thirst and simping have gotten us to where we are.

You mean you don't wanna fight and die at the whims of politicians and oligarchs? So unpatriotic :P
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 12:41 PM

IMO it is a breach of trust, it's basically going through their private stuff without their knowledge. Whether you find something or not, it's a sign the relationship might not be destined to last.

It's a well documented fact that narcissists and psychopaths can often appear confident and charming at first, and are good manipulators of people, so it makes sense. The incel internet bro can have dark triad traits but probably lacks social skills / charisma.

This "gotta be an expensive restaurant on the first date" is straight-up FDS dogma. If anything it lets you know which women to avoid. Their definition of a high-value man is a walking wallet with no desires except to please her.

I was referring to guys who might be compassionate, helpful, good providers, etc., but considered weak because they are not natural leaders or self-confident enough. On the opposite side, self-styled "alphas" who can be aggressive bullies, will be seen as "strong" and thus more attractive. Hope that clears it up.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:25 PM

Oh, and they should also start acting dismissive and annoyed when a woman approaches/talks to them. Just a bit of leveling out the playing field. I'd love it if this caught on.

I believe many problems would be solved if guys stopped being thirsty and just ignored women overall unless they were friends/family or had specific business with them. It's what so many of them seem to want, after all.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:15 PM

Strange how I never thought of myself as unavailable or got annoyed when someone needed assistance. I believe I'll take your advice and just look for a man next time - in fact, this seems like a good suggestion guys should follow in life overall.

I once asked a woman for directions because Google Maps wasn't working and she was the closest person available, and she acted almost offended that I was talking to her. Of course your looks will be what attracts people, they don't know anything else about you, or it wouldn't be a cold approach. But if he did compliment something else, for example a book you're reading, I have a feeling you'd still label it as a cheap pickup line. Some women will interpret any guy approaching them for any reason as trying to hit on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 09:52 PM

This is the key. Someone likened it to women fasting/dieting versus men starving.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 09:41 PM

You deciding all women are compatible with broke men because only poor men are capable of love Unless you actually think it’s okay and funny for people to like starve and struggle. I never said anything close to this. This is like if I'd said people eat too much fast food and your response was "Oh, so you want them to STARVE instead?" You're either projecting or have zero reading comprehension. I would say try arguing with logic instead of emotions, but tbh I don't really care anymore.

Why is "I require someone who can support himself and our family" "reasonable," but "I require someone who makes six figures" not, when they are both "primary conditions" of the relationship? Why is the former reasonable, and the latter isn't when neither is "inherent to the person?" Because it's the difference between saying "He should be a functional member of society who can support himself" versus saying "He's gotta be rich." If you see no difference and treat both as equal/primary requireme…

I think I've already addressed this. Men who choose this option would simply be paying for a service, as we all do. It's not about "not seeing women as human", it's about viewing these women as simply service providers, just as the women in question wouldn't care about those men beyond seeing them as clients. As long as both parties agree to the terms, I don't see the problem. Could this service be used by some men who genuinely don't care about women/want them subservient? Sure, and some people…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:35 PM
2

But the women would still be free to choose their clients or opt out of this job entirely. In essence it's just being an escort with a few extras, so the same rules apply.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:23 PM
2

I'm pretty sure men who want relationships wouldn't use such a service or try to substitute it for one, yeah. Unless they're desperate or not too bright.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:22 PM
1

That could indeed be a problem, not to mention the skill of these providers at cooking and cleaning, compared to someone specialized in those things (who is not a sex worker.) It'd be interesting to see how such a service works in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:13 PM
3

I think you're reading too much into it. If you go to a restaurant and order food, does it mean you want to control the cook and waiter, and make them obey you? It's just paying for services.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:09 PM
4

Agreed, as long as clear terms are set and both parties benefit I don't see any problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:04 PM

There's a saying regarding escorts, "You don't pay them for their services, you pay them to leave afterwards." I wonder if this is the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:02 PM

But if gets to the point where she cheats, the man is already considered weak for not having a better handle on the situation. The kicking her to the curb already happens, though of course the part about being easily replaced is not always true. I don't personally agree with it, as I said this is much more common in macho, patriarchal cultures.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:54 PM

And I hope Trump supporters get everything they voted for. Most of them just hoped he'd win and beat the democrats, so I guess they already did.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:50 PM

Once again, that literally works for any standard or requirement. Men also leave women who are infertile - they similarly care more about having biological children than the person, right? In that instance, yes. If he really loved that woman, he could find another way like a surrogate or adoption. And your example doesn't even make any sense, if a woman said.she married a guy primarily for his money, and he loses his money, her leaving is a prime example of her sticking to that standard?? It is …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:47 PM

It makes sense in patriarchal cultures where that man will be judged and seen as weak / ineffectual if he lets the woman do whatever she wants. It's a bit like tarnishing the reputation of your employer. In more progressive societies people don't care as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:34 PM

That attitude is precisely why Trump won, not that I'm a particularly big fan.

I think what you're talking about are primary requirements. If you value looks above everything else, I agree that would be similar. To use real life examples, there are women who admit they married primarily for money and would leave their husband if he became broke. If that is you, then I think it's fair to say you care about the money more than the person. It depends on your standards and how closely you stick to them. If you simply say "he should be able to support himself and our family", t…

Interesting. Do women who hype up a friend who just broke up with a guy by saying "eh, he was a loser who didn't deserve you anyway!", or women who tell themselves that when being broken up with/rejected, also reek of entitlement and emotional instability?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:11 PM
21

It's even simpler than that imo, cold approaching doesn't work unless the guy is handsome and charming. This is the part the old seduction gurus always left out, because it would've put a damper on their book sales.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:08 PM
1

I've seen women react with outright anger and annoyance at men they deemed unattractive approaching them. It's even worse than we think.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:04 PM
14

Through decades of media and social conditioning, women and feminists have conditioned men to believe that it's creepy to approach them in public or at all, for that matter. The result is that only actual creeps and fuckbois will continue to approach. Ironic, but it's what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 07:03 PM

What double standards am I trying to justify? Who are you arguing with? I think everyone is allowed to have whatever standards they want in a partner, and don't know why I would care or judge what they want, prefer, or need in a partner. I said the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 06:58 PM

What it comes down to is this: Would you reject a guy you otherwise loved because he didn't have enough money, and accept another one who did? Then money is the primary factor, not the man. But whatever you need to tell yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 06:29 PM

And yet the world is full of poor and middle class folks who have children and make it work somehow. Meanwhile the rich have one or two (and sometimes none), and they are raised by nannies and sent off to boarding schools (albeit the most elite and expensive ones, of course). I just think there are other factors that feel more important than money, imo.

Men are still expected to initiate and make the first move. I've heard women say that they will never approach a guy even if they like him. So guys shoot their shot because it sometimes works. The ones who don't, go home alone.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:53 AM

IMO, this mode of thinking is similar to the old days when people (especially from the upper classes) sought out marriages based on wealth and forming alliances between families. Then as now, love and romance were secondary considerations. Just find someone you can at least tolerate living with and essentially have separate lives, lovers, etc. Feels sophisticated :)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:50 AM

Everyone is free to have their own preferences, but when you condition your relationship to someone based on their wealth or income, it sounds like you care about the money more than the person. That's how it sounds to me at least.

Probably gonna get downvotes for this, but to me that sounds very cold and pragmatic. It's almost like viewing it as a business deal more than a relationship. And I know there are people who think like this, and as long as they're both on the same wavelength, more power to them. I just think that when you meet someone you feel sparks with, it shouldn't matter how much money they have. Otherwise it's just an alliance of convenience.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but she wasn't nearly as overhyped and ubiquitous as Zendaya in my experience. Or maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention. :P edit: I just looked at a bunch of pics of Sweeney, she looks like a 90s soap opera star :)

/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 02:22 PM

Most men in online spaces don't really care about men's issues, they just want to vent their anger at easy targets like women and feminists. It's a bit like working-class people blaming immigrants for taking their jobs instead of blaming the politicians and rich oligarchs for the current economic situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 11:38 AM
4

Exactly. The issue is not about having/showing emotions, it's having control over one's emotions versus being controlled by them. The latter shows weakness and immaturity, which are never attractive.

Things could always be better, but it doesn't mean we're living in an era of degeneracy. Unless you want to return to the normalized alcoholism, misogyny and spousal abuse of the 50s, the drugs and unprotected sex of the 60s, the hard drugs and STD epidemics of the 70s and 80s, etc. The current generation is more educated and knowledgeable about sex and dating than any other in history. They are also the freest and least restricted they've ever been. Some people will take things too far or make …

If I didn’t see obvious and consistent negative mental effects from women from continuing to date around for lust and dreams for years then I would agree. Yes, we can only look to patriarchal utopias like Iran or Saudi Arabia, where women are treated as men's property, for the answer. :P
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 08:42 PM

Bold of you assuming most of them were successful enough to breed
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 08:35 PM

True, I mean TRP literally had one article referring to women as having the minds of teenagers.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 08:32 PM

I've literally seen guys online claim that showering or washing your ass is gay, that they don't care about dressing nicely, and they're not about to change for any woman. They were obviously redpill and single.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 02:57 PM

Honestly I don't even know what that means.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 02:55 PM

I require attractive females for breeding! This is how real men talk!
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 02:49 PM

By OP's logic, it would be the equivalent of guys pumping and dumping. So either both are wrong, or neither.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 02:47 PM

Or maybe the guy only wanted sex and faked interest until he got it?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 02:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 02:32 PM

Sounds like a very good argument for women to refuse to be homemakers or be financially dependent on a spouse in any way. So much for all those guys wanting traditional wives, I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 12:18 PM

Lie about what, exactly? I simply disagree, some people having certain preferences doesn't make it "the normal" thing. You could at most say it's the prevailing preference, and so what? It still has nothing to do with feminism. You sound confused.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 12:08 PM
2

To be fair, those are somewhat different things. Feminists (barring a few radical extremists) generally campaigned for equal rights and bodily autonomy. Now it's true there are some women (not necessarily feminists) who prefer men that are taller, more dominant, richer, etc. just as some men only want women who are young, hot and submissive. But those are just personal preferences, with no way to be officially enforced and no effect on others as nobody is forcing anyone to interact with those pe…

I had a very similar experience, I liked TRP's laying out the facts and telling men what they need to do in order to be attractive while also explaining female nature without sugarcoating things. I wasn't as enthusiastic about their emotional manipulation stuff, dread game etc. Plus I often saw an undercurrent of misogyny and almost hostility towards women, which I found counterproductive.

Chasing after women constantly is a waste of time just like playing video games for endless hours every week. Both are purely pleasurable activities that don't help men grow or learn new things that have deeper value. I would argue that nothing in life really has "deeper value", it's all in what we choose and determine ourselves. Lately I've started to think that humanity itself is screwed, most people are simply too dumb, selfish and short-sighted to advance as a species and we might as well ju…

Reminds me of an old Jewish joke. During WW2, a student finds his rabbi reading Der Sturmer. He is aghast and asks him "What are you reading? Don't you know that is just propaganda?" The rabbi answers "I'm trying to cheer myself up. The regular news just talk about death and misery and how bad the situation is. The real reason some of those groups got reported and/or shut down is because they invariably attracted a bunch of misogynist far-right extremists using violent rhetoric like advocating rape, saying women's rights should be revoked etc. I don't know of any examples of peaceful, constructive men's groups being thwarted by ze evil feminists.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 12:29 PM

To be honest I disagree with the view that "family and career" is the ultimate achievement or what everyone should want/needs, but it's true that other factors contribute to someone's peak than looks and physical ability.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 12:25 PM

But I bet they all still have to be fit, feminine, conservative, and submissive to men in their life. Yet women are the shallow ones for having preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 12:10 PM

But all men do like the same archetype. All manly alpha men want blonde, fit, ultra feminine, conservative tradwives. When a man wants something else, he is shamed and called a cuck/beta/weird etc.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 11:53 AM

Can't say I've seen a lot of that, but I did see a lot of cases where if a woman said something she was immediately accused of lying or being contrarian, and any guys who agree with her are called white knights. /r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 12:59 PM

Yep, my father was definitely the first and possibly the second, not sure. Always acted like the alpha male king of the household, treating the rest of us like underlings. Never really taught me or my sibling how to navigate life, just criticized and condescended. We don't talk much anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 12:55 PM

TLDR: "You're lying, just like all women! And anyway, personal anecdotes don't matter!!!" nice counter-argument, dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 12:47 PM

In my experience, it's usually redpill conservative types of both genders saying the man should lead.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 12:43 PM

I just made a similar comment, this view just reinforces the idea that (some) women treat sex like a currency more than a pleasant activity.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 12:39 PM

Unfortunately, this just reinforces the idea that women view sex more like a currency or bargaining chip instead of a mutually pleasurable activity. I know there are reasons women would be more reluctant to engage in sex with a guy who isn't willing to commit, but it still feels wrong.

You literally said/implied that in your initial post. This is because the two things men need in a partner are fulfilled. A. She's attractive. And B. She's a friend. Men want a friend that they get to sleep with. For women, it's more complex. A woman can lose attraction for a man that’s her “type”, just as she can gain attraction for a man who isn’t, and this comes down to behavior. I don't know why you would think this is restricted to women only.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:51 PM

I would argue that men aren't as simple minded as you and others often make them out to be. I can and have lost attraction for a woman due to her behavior/personality as well.

You Also you And again It's pretty clear from this and your previous history that you have an axe to grind against feminists. This disingenuous dogwhistle BS isn't helping. And honestly, can you give an example of feminists denying the empathy gap exists, because I've personally never heard of this.

As a French guy once said: "I spent my life looking for the perfect woman, and I found her; but alas, she was looking for the perfect man."
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:35 PM

TBH I'm not sure what you're saying except that women like some guys and not others - should this not be so? A woman may choose a man but nothing will happen unless he also chooses and approaches her. Since men are still generally expected to initiate, the power of decision ultimately still lies with them. In more general terms, it doesn't matter who the initiator or selector is, only that both people agree to take it further.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:34 PM
2

You repeatedly blame feminists in this thread and imply they are the reason men are disadvantaged or whatever. Other manospherians are flocking to the bait. The truth is, this attitude absolutely exists but is first and foremost perpetrated by men. Women being regarded as precious commodities, "women and children first", etc are old values that predate feminism and modern thought by centuries.

OP is a manosphere troll who always makes posts like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:21 PM

I agree, and it sucks, but on the whole those jokes are told and repeated far more often by men than women, in my experience at least. It's the culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:16 PM

So what exactly WAS your intent in posting this, OP, if not just to shit-stir and circlejerk about how men have it worse than women?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:11 PM

By that reasoning, you must agree modern women are also justified in hating men and viewing them as potential rapists and aggressors.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:10 PM

Who says the empathy gap does not exist? I've personally never heard of this.

Yeah, OF tends to push that model which I find questionable as well. Unfortunately it's not just an OF thing, I've heard of cases in East Asia (China, S. Korea, Japan) where streaming is big, of men sending thousands of dollars to a streamer so she will mention their name online. Loneliness and weak will are a dangerous combination.

I see OF as just another transaction site, as in "There's this chick I like, and I know that if I pay a few bucks I'll get some pictures of her" which is reasonable. I pity the guys who go on there and form quasi-relationships with the models, sometimes spending a ton of money, believing they mean anything more to that person than a dollar figure. I think that's sad.

Lately I've been trying to decide if I prefer comment sections with pretentious nerds (like Reddit) or mouth-breathing idiots (Youtube, Funnyjunk, other sites.) There's several possible scenarios here: Women have a higher income and don't mind. The men feel emasculated and insecure, and end up sabotaging the relationship or leaving. I've heard many accounts of this. Women just look for a guy who's in the same general income bracket. I think this is the most common case, and in fact general education level seems more important than salary. And finally, some women do look for a guy who's a high earner. The good news is, the first two cases are becoming mu…

I think you are confusing basic rights with preferences. Yes, women should have equal rights and equal pay. If some of them still prefer a man as the main earner, that is their own business. Nobody is forcing you to seek out or date those women. How would you even approach or legislate something like what you are proposing? Random question for the guys saying women live life on easy mode because they can make money on Onlyfans or working as camgirls, etc. You think you could do it? Get naked on your webcam and act sexy and seductive for a bunch of morons, creeps and weirdos all day? This may or may not be inspired by someone I know working in the business and telling me stories. Sure the money can be good, but not even that is always consistent.

It also has to do with men being more aggressive and competitive than women, but yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 09:25 AM

It's an interesting issue. Same goes for videogames/esports. Technically there should be no gender division, yet males tend to dominate the higher ranks. It could be because videogames were male-dominated throughout most of their history, that girls who played were often discouraged by harassment and creepy behavior, or that guys do have some advantage in things like reaction time / strategic thinking. In reality it's probably a combination of factors.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 09:23 AM

Agreed with all of this, just wanted to note that these activities should be done for the sake of getting better at socializing / making a circle of friends, not just trying to attract women, because people will pick up on that. I would also add start a gym routine, get a hobby or two outside videogames (hopefully one that isn't a total sausagefest), and be mindful of one's look and body language when going out.

I think so. I believe men take more risks and fewer precautions in general, get into more fights, etc. If we're just talking about walking alone at night or something, a woman is still more likely to be attacked than a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 11:44 AM

You know those women who posted videos of guys leering at them at the gym, trying to shame them? Your hyperbole aside, it's a question of wanted vs unwanted attention. Most of the porn and adult industry is produced and run by men. OF might be the first exception to this, and it's only a few years old. Women are usually just the actors, with men also being the primary consumers. To say otherwise is simply a denial of reality. Feminists don't even attempt to hide the fact that they want to collectively shit on men. As per usual, the things that women say about men are mostly projection. Sadly you can't reason with people who are either terminally online and never had a relationship, or got burned by some woman and then concluded all women are evil. There's a reason why the main audience for Andrew Tate and stuff like Fresh & Fit are 18-24 year old incels and bitter divorced dudes in their 40s.

It makes sense too, because in their heads they associate the bad boy with someone who's fun and exciting, and the good guy with a mild, boring milquetoast. Of course the bad boys are often assholes or psychos in reality, so they seldom have long-lasting relationships.

Then it sounds like you're changing the meaning of religion to "whatever beliefs people have to feel good and navigate the world" which is not exactly accurate. Nor do those beliefs have to be false. What about just thinking it's good to be a nice person and treat others as you'd like to be treated? There is nothing false or mystical about that. Your "NPC brain" comment was pretty ironic as well.

But there absolutely can be a definition of good which has existed throughout history without implying religion. Virtues like loyalty, kindness, temperance or charity were known and talked about in the ancient world. I suppose that if people need the concept of heaven and hell to be good, it's a positive thing. It's not ideal, but it's better than the alternative. Sadly, even religion has not prevented evil and atrocities throughout history, and in fact has been the cause and/or excuse for much of it. I don't think people as a whole have evolved enough to have a universal sense of morality yet.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/24 08:45 AM

Sometimes a woman is unable to get away, as in physically trapped and coerced. Sometimes she has nowhere to go, if it's her husband, or she might fear for her job and career if it's a superior. I believe that's why this concept came about in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 10:30 AM

Wasn't there a survey that showed the majority of male users in here are 18-25 year old virgins? Plus the ones that came over from redpill and incel subs. Might explain a lot.

It's a false analogy because sex is supposed to be mutually pleasurable. It's not like a massage or something where you do it because you love them. If I knew a woman was just letting me have sex with her even though she wasn't into it, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. But to each their own.

I believe you are intentionally misreading a common expression, in the grand tradition of PPD men making things up to be angry about - or possibly just trolling out of boredom. I said context matters because I guess it's technically possible someone, somewhere meant it the way you claim, but I have personally never heard a woman use "husband material" in a derogatory or negative way. I think you're overthinking it and purposely giving it a negative interpretation. When most people say husband or wife material, they just mean that person would be suitable for a relationship. They don't mean they view them as an object or strictly according to their functionality. It takes a warped view and some mental gymnastics to reach that conclusion, imo. Also, context matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 04:51 PM
5

Do you think calling a woman wife material also means she's boring and dependable?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 04:46 PM
11

Just out of curiosity, would you prefer to be referred to as fuckboy material, aka someone good for sex but not a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 04:45 PM
1

Yes, it's quite common especially in more conservative households.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 04:04 PM
1

It's funny because a common complaint I heard from women was that growing up, they were taught and expected to be quiet, unobtrusive and serve the menfolk. Pretty much the opposite of what this says.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 03:06 PM
4

I disagree. Being addicted to porn is bad, but porn itself doesn't harm you. It can open up people's minds to new possibilities and experiences, other than the boring missionary starfish sex their parents probably had once a week.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 12:15 PM

Too many guys don't understand this imo. She wants a guy who can engage her in intelligent conversation, not some autistic dude who can recite WW2 tank specs for an hour.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 12:09 PM

A Youtube video where two guys discuss what women want? Well I'm sold.

Why are You Randomly Capitalizing Words like That?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 12:00 PM

It's funny, I remember girls in college being all appreciative and admiring me when I got angry and told off some teaching assistant. It can be powerful, as long as you're not like that all the time.

Women I would shamelessly simp for: Ana de Armas, Kate Beckinsale, Minnie Driver, Nicole Kidman, Lucy Lawless, probably more I can't think of right now. Thank you, that is all
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 04:36 PM
4

The women I've dated would consider that behavior a bit too much, imo, especially if they just met each other or are in the early stages of a relationship. Not to mention those guys will often feel like they are owed something for their effort, and get mad if the woman doesn't give them what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 01:26 PM
4

Agreed, I'm in central Europe and it's generally considered polite here for whoever did the inviting to pay, though splitting the bill is also perfectly acceptable. Chivalrous notions like "the man always pays and also throws his coat over a puddle so the woman can step on it" are becoming antiquated, especially with the younger generation.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 01:24 PM
0

So be that guy instead, or get a hooker if you want guarantees.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 01:21 PM
2

What if she wants to pay? Although that could also be a red flag, I've heard women say they insist on paying when they don't want to feel like they owe the guy anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 01:20 PM
10

Caveat, this works for guys who are attractive and got some game. If you're ugly, no woman will care whether you give a fuck or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 01:19 PM

I mean people seriously follow the Church of Scientology and go through all the rituals and stuff, I don't even know what to say anymore.

I like confident women as long as it doesn't border on arrogance. I wouldn't be attracted to a meek or shy one.

I played it for a little bit before refunding it, as I was a big fan of DA Origins, and to a lesser extent 2 and Inquisition. I wasn't impressed to be honest. The art direction reminded me of WoW or Fortnite, and combat felt like some generic action RPG. KoA Reckoning had better combat imo, and it came out in like 2012. And the writing feels like it was by and for 20-something woke college students.

Who's bullshitting and has no argument? If you projected any harder you could get a job at IMAX.

Right mentality? Sorry, the dude sounds like a bitch-ass pussy in that scenario. He could have at least have walked over and got his gf away from there, instead of waiting for the barman to do it. But then again, something tells me that if the gf had gotten hurt, all the little incels around here would be celebrating.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 11:35 PM

Was that the Christmas gift exchange thread? I looked through it and could find no instances of "advocating extreme violence against men and boys". Can you link to the exact post? Or a different one, should be pretty easy since they do it "on a daily basis", right? That was a rhetorical question by the way, we both know you're full of shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 11:21 PM
1

Women's subs advocate for extreme violence against men and boys on a daily basis here, and they won't get banned because Reddit protects these people, and are pro bashing hetero men in particular. Can you provide one example? Are these women watching us right now?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 09:41 PM
1

We'll talk when women's subs get banned for advocating rape and violence like certain incel and redpill subs did. Meanwhile, please go outside and touch some grass, I promise there are no evil women waiting to persecute you there.

Just read something on social media with ppl saying the new Spider-Man Miles Morales movie might get delayed or cancelled because the actor is a creep and how it would be hilarious, didn't realize it was this guy.

Weren't there a couple of actors who cheated on their celebrity spouse with the nanny or housekeeper? I seem to remember Arnold and Jude Law, at least.

I've browsed through it a couple of times, and there is for sure some misandry and circlejerky tendencies, but most of the posts seem to be complaining/venting about shitty men. TBH I've seen far worse from manosphere communities when talking about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 11:24 AM

Peak PPD, anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 11:17 AM
1

True, men are also the main perpetrators of violence against other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 11:15 AM

For what it's worth I agree. Men should be allowed to get a "paper abortion" which involves giving up all rights and responsibilities towards the child, up to and including being named as the father.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:00 PM

There is more to it than physical attraction, personality and socializing also play a large part. I just said in another comment that from personal experience, most of the guys I know who are in relationships are not significantly more attractive than the average population. If anything, they just take better care of themselves and have their shit together.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 01:17 PM

Hard to say without knowing you or what you look like.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 01:16 PM

Unfortunately, if you're holding out for a woman to be viscerally attracted to you, I've got bad news for you and like 80% of men. What is possible, however, is to be in a loving relationship where attraction actually increases over time. I've head women talk about that a lot. It takes work, but it can happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 01:04 PM

Oh, okay then.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 01:01 PM

My point was that those are extreme outlier examples which don't reflect the average guys complaining about being lonely.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 01:00 PM

Some of them couldn't, and would end up marrying for convenience. Others, who are capable of being independent, would be unaffected. Either way it wouldn't solve anything imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 12:59 PM

Look at all the couples in the world and tell me if you think all the men are attractive - I mean real life, not Instagram. You just have to do your best with what you've got.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 12:38 PM

Dude yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 12:28 PM

Agreed, there should be more groups and initiatives dealing with men's issues, the problem is such groups almost always get overwhelmed by trolls and woman-haters, at least online.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 12:27 PM

But then you'd just be back to the old times of women needing to rely on men, leading to stale loveless marriages.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 12:24 PM

And that's the problem, we just had this discussion recently and people were coming up with the most extreme examples, like "So you're saying a 4'11" cross-eyed balding dude should just dress better and get confident and he'll attract women, HUH? STOP GASLIGHTING US" like that's the issue. In reality most guys would be absolutely fine if they put more effort into their appearance/personality, but they just don't want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 12:21 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 03:30 PM
2

Damn dude, I'd say touch grass but I fear it wouldn't be enough in your case.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 03:27 PM

The point is that men who are tough negociators and ask for things are known as assertive go-getters, while women are often portrayed as bitchy and demanding, but I think you knew that. If by "winning" you mean making things worse for people you don't like just to spite them while not really getting any benefit yourself, then congrats.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 01:16 PM
2

everyone parrots "women are victim men are privileged even tho women are objectively better at everything" Where, exactly? University feminism lectures and shows like The View, which cater to bored housewives? Meanwhile in the real world women still make less money than men for the same job, are taken less seriously, and are raped and assaulted every day, less that 5% of those cases being ever prosecuted. Meanwhile men play victims because Stacy won't date them. I dunno what to tell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 01:11 PM

I agree, women should be more assertive in the workplace. They will be called "difficult" and "bitchy" but change has to start somewhere. What all 5 of them? Abortion isn't federally banned last I checked. Go to a blue state And if you think men have it so bad, move to Saudi Arabia.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 01:07 PM

Women stay in school longer and get more degrees, yeah. Men still get paid more on average for the same job. And women are currently dealing with stuff like dying due to pregnancy complications because doctors were afraid of breaking the law by helping them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:52 PM

The thing is, those channels you mentioned aren't in any way popular nor mainstream. I dunno, their thousands of followers might disagree. Mainstream doesn't mean much anymore, everything is on social media now and it's all tribalism.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:50 PM

The thing is, those channels I mentioned make no attempt to claim it's a joke, so it's pretty straightforward.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:41 PM

You're right, that's girl stuff. Men follow Andrew Tate and talk about how all women are worthless whores, or pull an Elliot Rodger.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:38 PM
1

Some women will post stuff like that on TikTok or Insta, but it's usually just advertising for their OF
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:22 PM
1

Add rock music in there and you've basically got Iran or North Korea. Wait, you want to legalize cocaine? Fair enough, I guess dying of a heart attack at 40 wouldn't be too bad if I had to live in a place like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:19 PM

Starting a business always carries risks. It's a lot of work, a lot of responsibility, and no guarantee of success. Personally I'd rather have a comfortable 9 to 5 job, but I admire people who take that route.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:14 PM

That was not even true / clearly a joke. Wanna give your opinion on the dozens if not hundreds of TikTok / YouTube "alpha male" channels shitting on women regularly?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:12 PM

Still mostly chronically online stuff. People who espouse red/blackpill in real life are usually dumbasses or losers.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:10 PM

"Women say they like a guy who's funny and outgoing, but when I make them listen to my standup routine for an hour every night they don't like it! Women don't know what they want, smh"
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 12:07 PM

You have to wonder why those things happened in the first place, though. In India and other parts of Asia, apparently women being groped and assaulted in trains and elsewhere grew to be a serious problem. What would your proposed solution be?

One thing I noticed is an increasing trend among young alt-right men to demonize porn alongside with masturbation as being "weak" and "low-T" behaviors unworthy of alpha males, something I always found funny as their hero Andrew Tate literally made his money from being a pimp.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:59 PM

Do you give the same grace to men that hate women because they were harmed by women? That's a fair point, OP went through a messy divorce if I remember rightly and dedicated his life to hating women and feminists ever since.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:57 PM

Indeed, women who are promiscuous should be stoned to death as Allah wills it.

Happy b-day from an internet stranger :) For what it's worth, I actually removed my birth date from Facebook and such, because I was tired of getting a bunch of messages from people who only did it as an automatic reflex because they got a notification. It's more peaceful and quiet this way.

My favorite thing is people who post like "I apologize, English is not my first language. Thus, although I am penning this missive in earnest, please be gentle with me dear reader, and forgive my clumsy malapropisms; for after all, to err is only human."
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 02:36 PM

Caveat: The future might turn out differently depending on your choices, you may not experience the same events or meet the same people. That's the only downside I can think of. So basically I think people who believe their life is already great would pick green. :)
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 04:07 PM

Green button: Receive 10 million dollars in cash. Red button: Go back in time to when you were 10 years old, keeping your current knowledge and memories. Which would you press? Personally I'd like to go for red, there are a lot of things I'd do differently.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 04:01 PM

It's also the nature of Reddit, which encourages herd mentality since anyone going against the circlejerk will be buried in downvotes. That and I honestly think it's 50% bots.

Same here. I'm so envious of successful writers who make a good living from it. I just don't think I've got the creativity or the discipline though.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 03:58 PM

I think I know what you mean. I'm currently living in central/eastern Europe (not trying to doxx myself) and sometimes go to karaoke events and stuff where people sing pop songs in English. All the non-English speakers think they sound amazing but tbh their accents and pronunciation are often hilariously bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 01:00 PM

I don't understand why some people insist on treating dating like a business transaction where they try to maximize profit. It just shows a lack of actual dating experience imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 12:49 PM

It's like that old saying, "If you run into an asshole in the morning, you've run into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, maybe you're the asshole."
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 12:48 PM

As another member of the "dated a bad singer who thinks she's good" club, I feel that pain.

Better than blackpill incel doomer bullshit, honestly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 03:27 PM

It also really depends on the individual imo. I personally know a lovely woman who married a short, bald, chubby guy and they seem to be happy together. Apparently he's a good provider and a good husband, so kudos to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 02:38 PM

Sounds like you're leaving something out or not painting an accurate picture then. Either that or their relationship may not last very long.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 02:04 PM
5

I think it's a bit of both. Acting uninterested / like it's no big deal will automatically make a guy more attractive than one who seems desperate or overeager. At the same time, women have to find you at least a little bit attractive in the first place, or they won't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 12:35 PM
-1

Being interesting is just part of it, and can be a significant part when trying to attract quality women. The guy who has no interests except watching football and chugging beers will probably attract a woman with similar interests, because otherwise what would they talk about? But it's equally true that looks and social status matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 12:04 PM

From my experience, guys like this usually want to live in The Handmaid's Tale, even if they don't come out and say it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 11:11 AM

What does that even mean though? "Deserve" in what context? Will the government force such men to pair up with women who claim they "deserve" them, which they don't? It just sounds like nonsense rhetoric tbh.

1

Get a room already, you two.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:18 AM

It's actually interesting how much the views and playbooks of prominent redpill and manosphere leaders align with fascist propaganda used in the past. Replace "the enemy" with "women and liberals", and many of Umberto Eco's points sound straight out of the modern alt-right manosphere.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:51 PM

Me too, kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:40 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 08:58 PM

I knew a couple of girls in uni who admitted they went out to bars and clubs to get free drinks from guys. I guess it's a question of how you present yourself and maybe the location.

BP doesn't really "offer" anything though. It's just common sense stuff and rejection of the more outlandish parts of RP. There are no bluepillers, to my knowledge, that are selling books or memberships to their exclusive club or anything like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 07:54 PM

Blue Pill pandering doesn't really exist because there are no BP "gurus" in the same vein as RP. BP is just a reaction, and rejection of redpillers.

I wonder what the T levels of men who stalk, assault, rape and kill women are like. Not a lot of emotional control there, is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 07:47 PM
2

Women don't want to be "coddled" on average more than men. I have to admit I sometimes wanted to vent about a problem and just have someone say "yeah man, that sucks" instead of trying to reason it away or offer solutions. That's empathy. Saying "man, I had a lousy day at work" and hearing theories on how it's my fault or solutions on how to improve it is not empathy, it's like talking to a robot.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 07:45 PM

Like many other things, musical talent can help a guy's attractiveness but is not enough by itself if he doesn't have the looks or charisma. Personality and knowing your audience matters, if he's an autistic nerd into classical music it's not gonna help much (unless the woman is one as well, I suppose.)

I agree with the part about being invisible and having total freedom. As for job and financial "failures", it's a matter of perspective. I'd rather have a relaxed job that lets me support myself and leaves plenty of time for my favorite hobbies and other activities, than some high-powered career that demands 80% of my time just so I can make more money and impress a bunch of people I don't care about.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/24 12:19 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 09:34 PM

"All those gold digging whores who only care about money and status will be sorry when men get AI girlfriends" "If that's what you think of women, feel free to get an AI gf and leave them alone." "OMG why do u hate men :("

Watch out everyone, we got Edgy Gigachad over here.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 04:47 PM

How perfectly? Is it intelligent and self-aware? If not, you've basically got an expensive videogame that's programmed to let you win. If that satisfies your needs, great.

Reminds me of that line about asking funeral parlors why they don't hire men.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 12:10 AM

True, and I think it's a shame that some men will describe themselves or their gender as such.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 12:08 AM

Yet you imply companionship is not enough. So they should hire a housemaid and forget about marriage if it's clearly such a lousy deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 12:06 AM

From the way you state the issue, it sounds like what he really needs is not a wife, but a live-in maid and cook. That way her duties are clear, they can work out fair compensation and everyone is satisfied.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 11:45 PM

Fine, they should both work and split chores evenly. Or if the woman stays at home, work out a system whereby the housework she does is equivalent to the man's financial contribution. Then, next time he wants sex or affection, her question should be "how will I be compensated for this?" Finally, equality.

"I totally banged that chick last night, she said no at first but you know she was just playing, in the end she let me do it, what a slut." On the other hand, when women divorce rape men, destroy their lives with false accusations, or outright r*pe men, they get a slap on the wrist at wrost or they even get praised as strong and independ…

/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 04:08 PM

What incel sub / 4chan forum did you get that pic from?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 11:24 AM

I don't get that either. Maybe they were saying they didn't want to be relegated to the role of traditional housewife who cooks and cleans? Need context.

Pro-Russia, far right, anti-vaxxer, Christian fundamentalist. Apparently most Romanians hadn't even heard of him, but he had a viral following on TikTok due to thousands of accounts spreading his videos. Actually that's been proven to be mostly false, the only thing that matters is total number of calories per day. The problem is it's very hard to accurately estimate that number without going over.

This sub is full of incels and manosphere losers.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 08:54 AM

This was actually taught in the past, unfortunately it also went hand-in-hand with "women shouldn't think for themselves and must obey their husbands" and if the husband wanted to cheat, come home drunk, and smack her around a little from time to time because dinner was cold, well that was just part of a marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 08:53 AM

I've seen men refer to high n-count women as sluts and whores with disgusting used-up bodies, then innocently claim they're just stating their preference, so I'ma take that with a grain of salt.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 08:45 AM

Yeah, in my experience men mock fat women far more than the reverse.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 09:41 PM

I've seen multiple redpill/manosphere dudes talk about how dating is so easy for women because they just have to not be fat, which is easily achievable if they just don't eat like pigs, so yeah. Actually, after reading your post, I have to wonder if you're trolling and I just took the bait.

Yeah, I think there's a difference between trying to be your best self and pretending to be someone you're not in order to get a date. The former is more or less expected; the latter will just lead to disappointment down the road.

A noble sentiment, but I believe you should go a step further and have the village elders check if she's a virgin before the wedding. If she isn't, she shall be stoned to death as God wills it.

So you're saying women should go back to being submissive housewives if they know what's good for them?

So lone women are in more danger... from men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 03:18 PM

You give them "kudos" because they are cherry-picked examples which justify your hatred of feminists. You'll see what you want to see, I guess. There is plenty of criticism of both individual feminist figures and parts of feminism as an ideology. There is a reason most women do not associate with radical feminists and figures like Valerie Solanas or Andrea Dworkin.

There's a lot of lonely desperate guys out there, willing to believe that this person cares about them because they're paying x amount of dollars a month. Some OF models encourage this as well, offering "girlfriend experience" subscriptions and whatnot. I find it silly and off-putting personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 01:33 PM

The ones who make bank are usually ones who already had a sizable social media following, doing tons of advertising/marketing, or have a certain unique look / filling a niche. It's definitely not easy and only the top 1% make any real money, allegedly.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 08:14 AM
1

Let's say there's some celebrity or influencer you've got a crush on, and you can see naked pics of her for a low subscription fee. It's not just random pics, but pics of this person you're after. That makes sense to me. Then of course there's the illusion of intimacy and "connecting" with the model, but that's a crock and I pity guys who buy into it.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 07:22 AM

Not to mention that premise is flawed. The movement is much bigger than a few extremists, even prominent ones. I wonder what these guys would say if you told them they can't call themselves redpill if they don't agree with the school shooters and blatant misogynists who were/are leaders and prominent figures of the movement. Same argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 07:20 AM

I was pretty surprised to find that in certain parts of the US, women could not get a bank loan or a credit card without their husband's permission until the 1960s or 70s. Puts things in perspective.

Women have the upper hand only as far as men let them. If men are desperate enough to simp for women and put up with disrespect or abuse, it's on them. Nothing is stopping them from ending a relationship if they so choose. This is why I disagree with the double standards thing as well. A man doesn't have to put up with bad behavior. And when a man leaves the relationship, if he got a real crazy broad, she might trash his car or something. When a woman leaves a crazy dude, he might stalk and kill…

Unlike blackpill, I also believe that most people's looks can be improved. Some people who are genetically cursed with actual birth abnormalities have a very hard time of it, but the "average" guy can meet enough women's subjective looks criteria to be able to meet someone if he develops all those other things too. The trouble is there are a lot of guys who are skinny or fat, have antisocial hobbies, lack social skills, don't groom themselves properly, dress like slobs, and don't bother to fix a…

Literally most of your post is "What about the men" and finished with a "gotcha". No need to be disingenuous on top of it. /r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 10:12 AM

I didn't mean you personally, but the group of men who often complain about women's lack of empathy. And I disagree, you can have empathy for an individual you know personally, but not for a group online that's mostly known for misogyny and hateful rhetoric.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 10:09 AM

The blue pill doesn't cover any of this stuff in fact it does the opposite by preaching that women are wonderful angels I have never seen this said outside of the context of redpillers claiming that's what BP says. At best it's a silly strawman.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 08:48 AM

Honestly, a lot of RP could be summed up as "Don't be a fat slob, be interesting, and act like you have value." Guys like OP are saying it helped with self-confidence, but then many take it too far and become cocky manipulative jerks. Does it work on certain women, sure, but you gotta wonder if that's what they really want.

The positive parts of the redpill (have self-confidence, work on your health/fitness/appearance/finances, don't put women on a pedestal, be an interesting person) are fine but also nothing special, as they are reflected in mainstream advice. The other stuff like dread game, negging, and viewing women as lesser than, will make you a misogynist douche. There is no doubt that some women are attracted to misogynist douches who appear strong and confident, at least in the early phases, but you have t…

I grew up with an emotionally immature mother and an overbearing, narcissistic, authoritarian father so the whole "family dynamic" never appealed to me honestly. Maybe I'm overly cynical or influenced by my own family, but I sometimes wonder how many of the people who are married with kids, took the step because they wanted to and not to fulfill society/family expectactions; and of those who say they're happy, how many actually mean it and aren't just saying it because that's what you are supposed to say.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 03:28 PM

Yep, so at best this would lead to women even more reluctant to have sex. Not to mention failing to solve the problems of pregnancies due to rape, or pregnancies with life-threatening complications.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 01:26 PM
1

But that would just make women less eager to have sex overall... still don't see the benefit for anyone.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 09:34 AM

Secondly, I don't think I could enjoy sex with someone that wasn't also enjoying it. Even if it weren't as extreme as rape, it still wouldn't be enjoyable. I'd get nothing positive out of it. Same, I don't understand the rapist mentality at all. I know it's a power thing, but I don't think I'd even be able to do it physically. One would have to be a psychopath or something.

I actually agree, especially if they cater to the gay market as well. With that said, it's not as easy for men. A woman just has to be reasonably pretty, in good shape and not fat (although there are niches for that too.) Male performers on the other hand are generally expected to be physically fit in order to be considered, on top of which they need to be well-endowed (above average), be able to get hard and stay hard when required, and will generally get less respect (and less money) than thei…

I think it's a phase guys go through. I used to like the goth aesthetic in my early 20s, it was dark and mysterious and the girls were hot. Now I see it as sorta childish.

There is a much greater demand for women in porn (which is primarily produced and consumed by men). Was this really ever in doubt?

I've heard of two scenarios concerning singles events: No men showed up, or men did show up, but the women ignored all but the top 1 or 2 guys. Doesn't really seem like a good deal for the average man, tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/24 03:43 PM

It's more complicated than that. Outside of looks, women are attracted to power and confidence, even if the guy is otherwise an asshole. They are repelled by weakness even if he's otherwise a good guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/24 01:54 PM

On a similar note, when pushed on the whole “women want bad boys” topic, guys just admit they want the quantity of women that bad boys have. So how are you gonna complain about women not wanting actual nice guys when all you want to do is be the bad boy? I disagree with this last part. We don't want to be bad boys, we're just annoyed/bitter that it works so well. It's like it's possible to feel bitter/envious of someone who got rich by stealing and scamming people while you are working at a regu…

Chad or simp? The useless dawn finds me in a deserted street- corner; I have outlived the night. Nights are proud waves; darkblue topheavy waves laden with all the hues of deep spoil, laden with things unlikely and desirable. Nights have a habit of mysterious gifts and refusals, of things half given away, half withheld, of joys with a dark hemisphere. Nights act that way, I tell you. You know, any and all the men who bark warnings about all men at the girls and women in their life, greet dates at the door with shotguns, make “all men are scum” statements, claim that boys and men can’t control themselves, etc since forever. Or men who are jealous and controlling of their SOs, checking up on them and not letting them be alone, or getting angry if another man so much as talks to them. Always wondered if it's projection on their part.

IMO the core of it wasn't so bad, it was basically just be confident, stand your ground, be proactive, and don't fear rejection. The canned lines and routines were cheesy, but they were meant for guys who had no idea how to talk to women. The biggest sin of those PUA guys was that in their quest to sell books/guides/lessons/whatever, they ommitted a very important factor, which is looks.

You just gotta be careful how wide of a net you cast, because you don't want to be known as "that guy who hits on everyone". It obviously works much better in larger cities where you can belong to different circles that don't intersect each other.

Sometimes it feels like guys can't win. If we ignore women, we're ill-mannered boors. It's pretty simple, women are no longer forced to depend on men for a living so the men now have to bring a plus of value into her life - whether it be looks, companionship, support etc. Many men are just considered undesirable for this or "not worth the bother". Blame social media and dating apps / hookup culture for much of this.

Ursula Le Guin is as much fantasy as sci-fi, and I wouldn't consider her writing particularly "nerdy", as it's not heavy on science or anything. It really leans more towards the young adult genre, but y'know, actually good. The Earthsea trilogy is solid fantasy fare, and short stories like Semley's Necklace or Those who Walk Away from Omelas are thought-provoking.

Throughout history in many parts of the world, the narrative of women as evil temptresses who lead men astray has been used to justify all manner of oppression, injustice and atrocities committed by patriarchal societies against women. This speaks directly to OP's point. Meanwhile your response was basically "stop making men feel bad about it!" Can't I say that women's tingles clouds their judgement when they go after some known to be abusive Chad who is 6ft 4, roided and tatted and makes her puss throb? Yes, absolutely. But historically women have not been in positions of power and have not forced men to cover up under threat of punishment, nor demonized their sexuality, nor had them killed for having sex outside of marriage or even sometimes after being raped, for "staining the family honor".

A 0.3-0.4 point difference is not that great, but if true it's indeed a problem. It could be that the environment of schools and what is required of students (sitting still, being quiet, having discipline) is easier for girls than boys, that's been known for a while.

Forbidding men to congregate in groups greater than 3. Keeping young and/or single men under close surveillance. And given the state of the world, the gang rapes, the assaults, the schoo…

True, but that's not what I was talking about. I never claimed all average/ugly guys are good partners, or that all good-looking high-status men are not. You're just doing the "not all men/women" thing.

Women go for guys with looks and status hoping they'll be good partners, then find out they're not. Shocker

It's not, but many men who think this way will treat their wife like a servant/prostitute. Not talking about you specifically, but it was a common relationship dynamic throughout history, one that women who can now support themselves are no longer attracted to.

It depends, sometimes it helps to have a coach who will monitor you, evaluate your progress, and identify issues specific to your case. Not in this case, that dude is a grifter and those guys are idiots, but generally.

People with more money than sense have been the main food source of grifters and scammers since the dawn of history.

The style and how well it fits her is more important than length, imo

Some admit it, or it's fairly obvious from the way they talk.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 10:49 AM

Sure, some women might be turned off by men with high bodycounts, but it's much less common. They usually don't care, unless the guy has a reputation as a player.

It's a belief very much rooted in patriarchal societies throughout history. Women were often expected to be virgins before marriage, sometimes even checked, and a woman who had sex was considered "unclean". There are also other reasons, like men feeling insecure about measuring up to past partners, or wanting someone who's inexperienced and easier to manipulate. You can see this with the passport bros and dudes advocating for age-gap relationships. Finally, some men believe in purity and saving …

I've had people try to take advantage of me, but only rarely and not to a great extent. What happened more often was me wishing I'd been more forceful and assertive in saying no or standing up for myself. Unfortunately I grew up with a narcissistic bullying father, and it took me a long time to overcome my people-pleasing and conflict-avoidant tendencies. Still working on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 10:23 AM

Half of this sub is 18-25 year old male virgins and manosphere incels, afaik.

Of course, a Veyron would require a driver who can afford it and has the skill to drive it, not some sad middle-aged dude who can't put it in second gear. ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 10:14 AM

Yes they do, and the reason they want virgin or low n-count women is because they don't like the idea of their property having been used by other men before them. Always has been.

one of the things that made me want my boyfriend is is he had money and was successful So you're a golddigger? :P But I agree, the pillars are usually looks, money, status and personality/game. None can be neglected if one wishes to be successful in dating. And the thing about looks is that while they can't be changed (short of surgery) you can improve your "look". Better haircut, clothes, overall hygiene, fitness level, etc, can go a long way. Only doomer blackpillers go on about canthal tilt o…

Maybe it depends somewhat on which part of the world you're in, but at least around here (central/eastern Europe) money and status definitely matter. For some women, I daresay more than personality.

Clubs have been doing that forever. I've said this before, but I once went to pick up my sister from a club and they wouldn't even let me in, I had to wait outside for her. They don't care. It's good that some people are aware and talking about it at least.

Or the commercials that portrayed men as bumbling fools who needed to be rescued by women. Although I can understand the reasoning, I'm glad we're moving beyond those.

In most conservative patriarchal cultures, it's both. I.e., women are seductive temptresses by nature, so they must cover up lest they give the men impure thoughts, and the men can't help themselves. It's not so much men being sexist pigs as men being controlled by their impulses. Otherwise you wouldn't have sexually active men being admired and celebrated, and the most rich/powerful men having multiple wives throughout history. It was always about men hoarding power and possessions, which inclu…

My retort to all the Redpillers and the rest who talk about natural selection and only the worthy men getting to reproduce is, if that were true, we'd have nothing but natural born Chads by now. Since that's clearly not the case, something about the hypothesis must be wrong. ;)

I didn't mean to imply that the second was not a hookup. They could start the exact same way, she just goes further with the second guy because they're more compatible. The "countless men are able to have long term relationships but are completely shut off in the hookup world" is a redpill incel fantasy, unless we're talking about fringe cases like she's a gold digger or settling.
