Maybe because for some lonely men, it’s better to get bad attention from a woman is than to get none? I bet it made his day to get a response from her. That, and/or because society has reinforced on every level that a woman is only worth time or respect if a man finds her attractive so it’s his duty to let them all know how they are doing, according to him? Ugh, I’m exhausted by this nonsense

As long as you value amazing dates during Covid, weekly flowers, and thoughtful gifts from this man, then he sounds worth your time. Does he know what meets your needs?
