No. If you asked, is Mr X better than Mrs Y? We could have a discussion on different characteristics and such.

Bro, if you have a gf and she gets pregnant, you think it's yours right? You don't test until later when you start to get a clear mind after the breakup.

Court system is a scam. Way too much personal opinion.

Basically, if you act like the father (even if you don't know that you aren't) the court will decide that you are now on the hook, especially if it would make the mother dependent on state aide. Becareful out there. I found this out, because I am doubting my ex didn't cheat on me. My son was conceived around the time we were on a "break". My attorney is now telling me that he can't guarantee anything that happens with judges

In last court she stated she was unable to work because of medical and need to care for child. She lives on her parents property. She gets free medical from state because she isn't employed and has a young child. No more alimony as it was a short marriage. Yeah, I like that argument about placing requirements for her to work. I have 30% custody time anyways.

Find another lawyer, that's way too high. Or at least work with a paralegal. Any bit of help counts

Yeah they always ask for a lot. Get a lawyer and do the best you can. There's not much you can do about the past.

Ah, okay you got only a small sentence then. I got a life time of payments, no one wants to marry her lol. It could be a lot worse look at me 😉

How long were you married? You going have to provide support for life to her? You will get your sentence, and have to live with it. We will do. I got shredded last week in court by my exs lawyer. Was sad for a day and not going to let her win by ruining the rest of my life. She gonna take all my money but not my freedom or health. I am tired of losing sleep or not feeling like it to eat. It took time, but yeah man you can do this brother. 💪

Been there mate, it got better for me. It's like high school, every thing was a big deal. Then after every thing wasn't as important. Get a lawyer and do your best. After the separation, family and mutual friends told me how my ex used to tell them casually how she would do things on purpose because she knew it would upset. Going to court and all the co parenting stuff, I started to see that she was still trying to do things to upset me. Got to take the power back. If you were given $86400.00 do…

No, I never made it joint funds. Kept it at separate bank, with statements going to a po box in my name only. Still sucks having to provide proof and wasting money/time with lawyer over it.

Yes, never marrying again. I will date but splitting half your assets isn't worth it. Glad my parents convinced me to keep most of my premarital assets separated. She had the nerve to go after my inheritance from my grandparents that see never knew.

It's a new life. Be ready when it's your time, but nothing at all wrong enjoying your life. Your son is taken care of as you mentioned, so nothing to worry about.

Thanks man, I had options 1 and 2 as well. It sucks but I believe it was best for my son as well.

10+ years did you know you were in a bad relationship? This is crazy bro

Time heals all. There is no easy answer in my experience. Best thing you can do is let go and work on your future. You can spend the next 10+ years thinking about it or you can move on now and have an amazing life it's your choice. Wish I chose the later ...

I agree, this is very close to being a mind hive hate group. I delete most of my posts because I get down voted for offering opinions. Glad someone else sees this is no longer a men's right forum any more.

Good points mate but stick to points only. The extras are not necessary

Man that's not cool. I just got here and a lot of the threads I have read on men's health here are what you would find on fitness sites.

Question, cannot mods delete posts/threads that would get community banned?

I dont necessarily agree with this. Humans are violent not just men. Hypothetically with no men on the planet, you still would have women causing war and fighting.
/r/MensRights04/08/21 11:25 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
