Haha your right jail was probably dramatic but just stressed on the legality. Never done this before so don’t know what to think, I appreciate your help here

I appreciate the comment but this sounds very illegal. Not trying to go to prison just trying to set myself up as well as possible

Could you give me some more detail on how this worked for you? I’m hoping to go in this direction

We have a marital home. Honestly that’s part of my hesitation, we have a 2.25% interest rate and with the way things are now idk if I’ll ever be able to own a home in the future

Any advice for a plan? I think it’s time to leave but Honestly no idea how I should approach this

I truly don’t think she is unfaithful. She does have mental health issues and is seeing a psychologist for the first time next month. Trying to hang on with that as hope but each day is a grind just to get through

Thanks. I’m in good shape with a good career but worry with a divorce by 30 I’m gonna be damaged goods. Honestly at this point though I may even be ok with just being alone

Do you think counseling can help? She’s open to it and seems like she has some moments of clarity where she understand it’s fucked up but then falls in the same cycle. I’m worried the damage is already done, I feel like I know how she really feels about me now and idk if I can ever be ok with that

I’d be lying if I said I never raised my voice as well. She starts screaming almost 100% of the time and sometimes I yell at her to stop but that’s about it. The hard part is the put downs. She grew up rich (family lost all their money) and will frequently call me a loser and broke and all that. I make 90k per year as a financial analyst at the top healthcare facility of the state and I’m proud of that (I grew up poor) but she makes me feel like it’s never enough

Thanks for this advice. She wants kids now and I do in general but agree that it would only exacerbate our issues

It’s been 5 years and it’s only gotten worse. She’s a completely different person from when we first got married. Deep down I know you’re right but taking that plunge at this age when all my friends (our friends) are just now starting to get married is really difficult and scares me

She’s not drinking at all, she’s not on anything either. Yes I frequently lock myself in the bathroom/guest bedroom when these outbursts happen and she tries to kick in the doors. Thanks for your comment I’m sorry you had to deal with that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
