I’ve recently started unmasking massively and have since gotten a ton of autism centered content (& adhd). All I can say is that all the comments are always about woman struggles. I sometimes comment too, and even specify I’m a guy, and whilst I don’t get hate or discriminated against in the comments, I never get any comments either, they all just get ignored. It almost feels like it’s something woman hogged? Like autism is their thing and their space now. Which is weird because it’s something t…

Leave it, people inherently only post negative things (and there’s mostly negative stuff in men’s rights in general. You’re not making a change by being here and screwing up your mental health. It’s not worth it. I check this sub once every few months, I used to check daily. My sanity thanks me.

I’m 30 now and got my first PC when I was 6. Been chronically online for a while I could say. Made a ton of friends and extremely good memories, but the way the internet is now.. I definitely feel happier without it, too.

Yeah, but also a post like this gets made every day, with the same response every day. I know this is a really big issue, but idk what pointing it out on a mens only subreddit is going to do, unfortunately. I try not to look on this subreddit because it's extremely depressing.

Why are you assuming it's only grown men? Why not other genders or ages?

Are you saying it's a boys dream to be raped? can you elaborate?

If you really care and want to get your views fairly challenged. Check /r/leftwingmaleadvocates If you can handle evidence and stats ofc.

You just live in a very narrow bubble and fail to open up to anyone else's points or arguments. You still feel like no matter what anyone says, you are right. You come here pretending to be open to other beliefs but you are not. Anyone that replied gave an open minded counter argument, and all you did was say "no, actually.."

This is kinda ironic.

I get that it's funny and while some debate circumcised is better there's also a ton of guys that just weren't even given a choice, and it was forced upon at birth. And that's just sad and not funny at that point.

I'd walk up to someone at Starbucks and chat with them. Why the hell not? How are you supposed to socialize when you don't have massive friend circles? Why is it ok for "cute" grandpa's and grandma's to do this but not for younger people? It doesn't have to be a weird thing. There don't have to be romantic interests or intentions. Like seriously? Also, not everyone would be baffled when people tell you to go away. That's a totally fair thing to say.

No I totally agree but he's not the brightest and my mom took advantage.

Sorry to hear you lost your best friend. My former best friend (girl) also started getting similar views after being in an all girls group. She became incredibly toxic, and it was unbelievably hard to separate myself from her. But I did and I'm so much happier now. I think you will be too, good luck man.

Sorry to hear that but glad you're appreciative of your daughter! My mom did the same thing, manipulated condoms 5!!! times without my dad wanting kids. I mean, glad to be alive. But hard to believe how people can do that.

I'm 28 and I'm struggling a ton just getting out of my rut now. Do NOT try to help anyone until you feel healthy yourself, because it will be at the cost of your own health. I tried, thinking I could manage. And so my panic attacks and anxiety started all over.

I like some of his videos but it's very focused on growing to attract the attention of girls. Which is kinda lame anyways.

Yeah! There's an amazing extention called YouTube unhooked. You can turn off shorts, comment sections, really anything. Def recommend. I downloaded it to keep myself aware and not binge watch.

Actually when posting here I feel like I've gotten a lot of neutral, but supportive answers. I don't think the same could be said for MRA. Where people typically immediately agree.

Such as being naturally competitive minded, looking to impress or the need to grow or be busy. How testosterone affects mood in the sense of dopamine or general satisfaction. I might also be wrong and have nothing to do with biology but if it does I'd like to learn about it. And if these are generalizations or anything that's also not my intention. I'm still on the path of better understanding myself and making more male friends, as well as being more open to them. I've for a very long time most…

I'm not so much looking for things we guys do. Rather just natural things we experience? If that makes sense. I'm genuinely just looking to understand myself better.

Sure they do, I'm pretty sure that's a US specific problem however. I've lived in Canada, Hungary, Spain, Belgium & Germany. Not once did I see anyone make fun of anyone's height in those places. And even in my teen years in school in different countries, never came across that.

I deleted my facebook and instagram, and blocked terms on twitter that will drive me nuts otherwise. So, discord.

I absolutely care, quite a bit actually. But to an extent where I would go to gatherings and stuff? Probably not.

I was brought up with bad parental guidance as well as love. Whilst I'm grateful, in a way- this was because my dad didn't want kids. However, my mom did. So she decided to poke holes through condom packaging with a needle. My dad wasn't aware, every single time- but she did that 5 times. Now there's 5 of us. The result? My dad doesn't care for us, but neither does our mom, for some reason. My dad was never able to do anything about it, because he had to 'prove' it. It's honestly made me pretty pa…

I honestly never knew about the allegations. I knew about his mental illnesses though, but never took a deep dive into learning about it, or checking his twitter. And same! I bought tickets to see EFFECT play in Season 1, in 2017. I never watched sinatraa, even prior to his allegations. IDK, never stood out to me I guess.

I don't really think about the number because of the meaning of a friend of me. Even if it's someone I contact once a month, it's still a friend. Idk if that makes sense.

She is LGBT, yes. Her actions don't make me think differently of LGBTQ+ people in general though. : ) I know this experience doesn't speak for everyone nor the majority. But yes, I do have to say, being in a friend group of LGBTQ+ people has been increasingly difficult for the same reason as her expectations/statements. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I'll definitely look out to make more male friends and try to get into deeper conversations with them.
