Not a feminist in the slightest. Just not trying to have a discussion with people who only see the world one way.

Yeah you are right. Let's stick to woman hating. That will solve the fucking problem.

Because it happens gradually instead of all at once. And unless men are inherently better at politics than women, it should eventually even out. Especially when half the population is women. That is how.

I am suggesting they give you an option. Not trying to convince anyone to do anything. Since you were in the military. Do you think the shit guys pull is more or less welcoming to women in the military? Do you at least see how the military lifestyle can make women feel left out with it being 90% male? I'm not claiming that they are justified and everyone of them doesn't fit in. But could you at least understand that being the different one in a job might make people drop out regardless of if the…

Wow you are giving me statistics from something feminism "solved". My point is society agreed that not enough women in STEM was a problem, and now I am saying we should be pushing for the same type of thing for men in women heavy fields of study. You won't do well talking like that around these parts buddy. That's because I am quickly realizing that this fucking sub is literally the male copy of feminists. Playing the victim and acting like "man up" isn't advice everyone needs now and again. Som…

So people should stay in abusive relationships for the children...? Because the children aren't also in danger...? I just can't follow your logic. I understand the system is fucked up, but just accepting that women win the kids even after abuse is kind of counter-productive isn't it? Document abuse, take it to court. When enough people get fucked by the system, hopefully the system will change.

You think it's ok to force men into low paying jobs Oh boy do I not even suggest that in the slightest. just because it would give women more opportunities in those fields? No, not just because it gives women more opportunities, it allows them to create opportunities for themselves. I would suggest the same thing if we were talking about difference races, or socioeconomic groups. People should be able to study what they want to study, and if teaching is 95% women, why wouldn't we want to make su…

Was hoping I wasn't stepping on any toes with that assumption. But I think we can all agree that both sides should be taught better communication skills early on. Some might say "female privilege" but I honestly think we could prevent it by having men just leave relationships instead of putting up with abuse until they are the ones finishing it.

I think the best argument for something is to give evidence, not try and discredit the source. With the whole "women get paid 77 cents" business, I think people saying "well why don't they just hire only women and save 23%?" illustrates more simply that it is an obvious half-truth at best. Of course the next leap of logic is people are willing to pay 23% more for a man. And they can address that by saying what would drive a company to spend that much more on a man over a woman? I guess all I am …

I think feminists speak to the "worst case" scenario too much to play up the victim status and push an agenda. For all I know there is a gender pay gap in certain industries or for certain age groups. As of right now there doesn't seem to be one, but both sides shutting their ears and shouting over each other doesn't solve anything. I think 99% of the people who read my original comment would have agreed if I had said "feminism needs to meet us half-way on these issues." Of course that obviously…

Alrighty. I give up on this sub. You guys are right. Men just have it so hard and the entire world is out to get you. Let's ignore everything that goes against our agenda, and only post things that further it. Wow, does that fucking sound like anyone we know? Just as bad as the fucking feminists.

Exactly. The kind of movement I think we should be focusing on is pro-active results instead of reactive. Accepting a couple feminist truths is not accepting defeat. Having a more equal congress in exchange for better mental health to lower suicide rates for men is a trade I would absolutely take. And once people realize feminism is trading power grabs in exchange for actual progress, people will hopefully wake up to who are the actual problem in our society.

Don't know what you guys were watching, he was kind of a twat honestly. Tried to have good points, but started them all off with "this person is an idiot/anarchist/satan, so..." and I have to agree that none of that is constructive. Not one person was able to say yes, women have issues, and we can do a lot to solve them, but let's talk about an issue men are facing. We need to start meeting feminists half-way and accepting that agreeing with some of the things they say is not admitting defeat. T…

Definitely nothing major that is anti-porn. I mean the same people who think it's wrong or disgusting aren't going to be swayed. But more and more men and women are opening up to it as a tool both solo and in the bedroom. Prostitution is a different beast. But if cam sites are legal, I don't see why prostitution isn't. It's sex for money, only difference being they aren't literally having sex with them.

Even if those particular stories are not true, they do happen. If there was ever something to shame someone for, it would be shaming them into doing the right thing. Hopefully people realize that from those threads.

Yeah, that is what I don't get. For all the people who say "kids are the most important thing", they just don't give a fuck how they are conceived or what kind of person is raising them. Three things you 100% tell the truth about no matter what. Murder, cheating, and paternity. Don't care how you get the information out, but you just make sure the person knows.

It's heavily trolled for 2 reasons. 1.) Straw-men activists come out to hate because they have heard we are all crazy. 2.) Trump supporters are shit posting anti-feminist crap, making us an easier target for leftist groups. I think it is most important for us to be above leftist/conservative/feminist tactics and focus on productive dialogue. We are slipping into a "anti-feminist" circlejerk. I never understood the whole "privilege" debate. Whoever is in charge has a bias towards people like them. You go to a black community, there is a social advantage to being black. You go to X country, they treat X kind of people with some kind of advantage. It's basic community and tribal standards that have been around forever. Women are just as likely to help women as men are to help men, so once women even out the work force over time, everything will sort itself out. But, you can't have equa…

Well, how did she get that protective order? Should she not be punished for using her own kids as pawns in her own vindictive agenda? I think it is pretty easy to cut through the bullshit on whether or not a person really feared for their own or their kids lives, or if they are just looking to be spiteful. I don't really see how anyone gains. But if someone was going to be falsely accused of beating their kids, or something worse like rape, aren't they owed something to balance the hit their rep…

I hope I don't get lit on fire for saying this. I was under the impression people kind of understood that when you go to a club or a really busy bar, everyone kind of understands it's a meat market of sorts. A drunk person randomly touches me for like half a second? They are drunk or an idiot. I've had people brush past me intentionally/unintentionally and never thought anything of it. Yeah, it is a little surprising how they approach it. Even in Religion classes, you get an objective view on the texts historically, and through religious teachings. Doesn't matter if the teacher is an atheist or a hardcore believer, the texts are very interesting and historically relevant. But when it comes to gender studies, you have to bow down to feminism and their teachings, or you get ostracized. Yes I too find it amazing that in academics religion is more open-minded than feminism.

If you only take into account open society (not prison), aren't more women raped/sexually assaulted than men? Overall I think it is a lot more even than people realize or want to admit, but do men really get assaulted as much as women?

Men and women have pro's and con's when it comes to different things. The problem I have had with feminism, and have continued to have with feminism, is that they are all take with no give. They want scholarships and funding to go to women so they can get into STEM? Awesome, I am all for it. Men who want to get into teaching or nursing? Probably just pedos or not smart enough to be doctors. The best part? They blame men/patriarchy for this. There were very few teachers I didn't like growing up, …

I think this goes to show that there are issues that need addressing with the current laws. We can't have teachers having sex with their students, and we can't have students filming it. It's not like the kid turned it into the police, he showed it to his friends... I just want a world where people have responsibility for their actions and self. I don't think she is a sexual predator, and I don't see this kid as a victim. A 17 year old who tapes sex, kinda knows what he is getting into. Now she s…

Kinda sucks being treated this way doesn't it? You know, the same. Unfortunately I think people might agree with her. Argue for or against what legal action needs to be taken, but an adult having sex with a consenting (they even took video of it to show their friends, at least that's how I am to understand it from the video) 17 year old is not a sexual predator. I'm so tired of this argument. It's all posturing and no action. The criteria for sexual assault and rape is so unbelievably shaky, both people think they are right. Do they not realize that "rape is a serious crime", yet all they do is trivialize it? There needs to be a charge of "sexual misconduct" that it like a speeding ticket. Easy to just slap someone with, but doesn't actually mean anything unless they get 3-5 over a few years time. When a small amount of people are handing out over 10 in…

They get comments that insult the fact they are a woman. People go for the lowest hanging fruit, and I don't think women realize it. In CSGO if I am tired I get called out for my voice. If I am playing league I get called out for playing X champion or whatever. If I say I am from a certain country they make fun of me for that. A decent example with a couple big flaws. Under current laws, Person A cannot even start the business without B contributing and giving the okay. Let's say the investment is from person A, but the zoning or whatever you want for the analogy can only come from person B. So person A is the one investing in all the immediate things to get it up and running. Person B after agreeing to let person A start up their business, is forced into a 20 year contract. So person A wants to call it quits? Person …

If a few people who were falsely accused suffer, so be it? I don't think you understand, we are on the same side here. You want rape victims to have all the support they can get. We want those who were falsely accused to have all the support they can get. If there was a crime, we want to convict them. But I think the difference comes in when we believe they are innocent until proven guilty, and the other side thinks a persons word is good enough evidence to convict them. Sorry, but people lie. P…

See that is just the thing, I think most men can understand this and sympathize with it. It is an incredibly experience, but one only a mother can have it. Do you feel a mother has more right to a child because they carried it and gave birth to it? Or do you feel like it is a special privilege all on its own? Eh, the safe word is more of a formality. Something to establish trust that you aren't out to hurt each other. I think most people when faced with "stop stop jesus christ stop" would probably get the idea. Yes they are allowed and more than likely welcomed. Most of us, myself included aren't against women or feminists entirely, we just feel feminism is doing it wrong or over-reaching in some areas. For example: Everyone here agrees that any amount of sexual assault or rape is too much. But, we cannot support a group that keeps spouting a 1 in 5 myth in an effort to create a straw man. Two things I would like to bring up. 1.) Is pregnancy and child-birth a magical experience that only a mother can truly appreciate, or their own personal hell? Disregard any opinions you may have on if she is lying or telling the truth for a second. Because it doesn't help anyone. What can we do as a group to fix this? Because complaining about it after the fact is getting too frustrating. We need to get ourselves into the conversation in preventing sexual assault. He isn't blaming her for divorcing him exactly. He is blaming her for destroying the family. She ended the family because she wasn't "in love" with his father anymore. The result of the family ending, was not cooperation, it was disputes and negativity. Love or hate anyone in your family, they are still your family. Yes I know. And I agree. Only thing I can say is you would have to ask the creator of the documentary. I don't get it either. I think it is a mistake to reference the red pill when talking about the MRM, but it is her documentary. I don't think the creator of the documentary is a MRA "member". I thought it was a feminist, or former feminist having a neutral examination of what the MRA world is all about. Maybe she thinks that The Red Pill is a controversial way of marketing it towards feminists or regular people who are neither. Think of it as "pro life" being used for being anti-abortion. On the surface, isn't it kind of silly that people would say they aren't pro life? We are all pro life, it's a no brainer. But in the context of abortion, it has a different meaning. She is using "The Red Pill" as a hook, and not as a literal expression the movie is examining. My only issue is that it lacks a sense of creativity and faith that an all woman film needs to rely on a previous film to succeed. This isn't a "rape culture" because everyone finds rape acceptable, it is a "rape culture" because the definition of rape has been expanding at such a rapid rate. Without question it is bias. But pretty much all leagues have these kinds of rules. Could you imagine a player having some kind of "vote for Trump/Sanders" shirt underneath his uniform that he exposed during the game? It may be met with criticism in the US, but in other parts of the world it could create a lot of civil unrest. The zero tolerance policy is so organizations don't have to draw lines in the sand on anything, and it remains objective.

I can't fathom how people who only started going on the internet when facebook became popular are allowed to discuss this kind of thing. The internet has been the same for over 15 years; it is full of trolls, people who think abusing people is funny, and people willing to argue anything. None of those things are mutually exclusive, and it annoys me that they think any of this is a new phenomenon, or getting worse. If there isn't a law that she broke, I hope this case results in a law that would stop others from doing the same thing. Everyone agrees that she is a monster ethically, but there simply isn't something concrete on the books yet. I would like this to go as high as it can through the courts, and results in some laws outlining criteria for this kind of behavior. Regardless of outcome, I hope she is never hired by anyone, and I can't imagine anyone who would.

I can tell you why I am not particularly worried. Men were probably 80% or higher of the college grads 50 years ago, and now that there are so many people going to college, men, being more interested in money than personal fulfillment, are no longer going because it isn't worth it. Any thread about college on reddit is flooded with people jerking off about trade school and how great being a welder is. Men flood to degrees that make money, and few degrees lead to a consistent and quality job out …

I just don't think defense attorneys are the cutting edge ethics we are looking for... Their job is to make whatever point they can to get their client off, not to spout actual ethics and reason. Rape is rape, just because he can get away with it legally, doesn't mean he didn't do it. Just because they didn't come forward immediately doesn't change the facts, and I am ashamed that anyone would call this kind of bullshit "truth". Also what truth is she implying in your mind? I think the sexism they claim to exist is when business is done outside of the workplace. I mean we all know the cliche of unofficial meetings being on the golf course, because CEOs, or board members of huge companies enjoy doing it. Women don't like golf, or cigar bars, or a number of other activities men do, and they see it as a "boys club" disadvantage. More and more "sexist" complaints aren't complaining about opportunity, they are complaining about outcomes. They have to do things they don'…

They touch on objectifying women. Am I the only one who can't stand that when a business pays a woman to be in advertising, they get accused of objectifying women. Even though they paid her, and she agreed to it. But Kim Kardashian, along with every other woman is allowed to objectify and sell themselves as much as they want. Then turn around and talk about how victimized they were for it, and how they aren't taken seriously. So to get this straight: Objectifying women is seen as bad and classle…

I would argue he forfeit the right to cry sexual assault when he went home with them. He was seduced by the lure of cocaine and attractive women, and it didn't end quite like he had hoped. If the attractiveness of the person is all he has to go on for it to be rape, then I don't want to be on his side. It's like playing spin the bottle and kissing the ugly girl; being ashamed doesn't remove your consent to play the game.

They were taking pictures of people out at the store, zoo, gym, etc., and pointing and laughing at them. A large majority of the posts I didn't have a problem with, but when you take candid picture of people in public, and make fun of them, that is over the line. If they want to say 'healthy at every size' is retarded, go for it. But as soon as you start picking on people just existing for being fat, putting them on your website, and publicly shaming them, there is an issue.

FPH didn't harass anyone? Are you delusional? Some girl on tumblr made a video about FPH, and they put her on the sidebar. How are you missing the text on the meme, there are like 20 words. He starts yelling "THIS GUY IS CHASING ME" Without that, it all seems pretty normal. How can you just ignore that blatant fact? This is the thing that changes it from suspicious, to outlandish. You are a different person telling a different story (I may have just realized you aren't OP in the meme"), but my point is still the exact same. Look at the meme friend. Edit: you aren't the meme OP. Yeah, you shouldn't just blindly be questioned by police, but again, rather people be viglilant and make sure, than oblivious. Nail on the head. Competition between boys is open and honest. Obviously not all of them are graceful winners, but if you cheat, you are met with consequences from the group. I said it before and I will say it again. Stop bringing up more men getting raped than women, you will lose the argument right there. It doesn't matter if it is true or not, society is based on the outside world. Prison is a volatile environment, and cannot be used in the argument of society based crime. I don't understand the plate spinning mentality personally. I use TRP to improve myself, and have LTR with girls that are worth it. I don't really care for the whole "alpha" shit tests.

Probably has a lot to do with the population that has accumulated here. Most of the time it is circle-jerking hamster argument (see this thread for example). A couple articles are about self-improvement, but most of the time it is how men are allowed to shit test women, while women are terrible people when they try to do it to men. Warranted when women shit test, they get money, time, and worship. When a guy does it, they have sex. If women like sex as much as they claim that they do, at least g…

My only addition to the comments would be towards the dating culture we have created. Girls tend to date guys who are older than them, and a 16 year old who dresses in something more revealing, could look older, and be thought of as an 18 year old. The fact that it is illegal for guys to do anything with girls at this age, is what worries me the most. I am fairly certain there are ways for girls to dress in shorts, or tank tops, that aren't revealing in a way we all know they can be. I think it …

The wasted friend who thought he saw a guy getting a blow job. No idea if he was actually asleep, or what lead up to it.

I just feel like we should hold it to the same standard as girls. Got drunk, no idea what happened. He could have been into it, and have no idea what was going on. Both are drunk, warranted he told her he was engaged. I am willing to give both parties the benefit of the doubt, and while he clearly was not looking for sex, why was he getting so drunk he could no longer be aware of his surroundings? Same shit I would tell a girl, and while I feel bad for them, and they probably didn't want it to h…

What? Didn't she say that 2-8% of rape claims are reported false? 8% is about 1 in 12. It would be as high as 1 in 12 was all I am saying. The more important criticism is the fact that they talk about a news article at the meeting, and don't take "dudebro" seriously, and dismiss his points.

I just took the information stated in the article. I just connected some dots and rephrased the statistic.

Because you can't get over anything by talking about it.

2-8% are reportedly false. That could potentially be what, almost 1 in 12 reported rapes that are false? What in a feminist space discussing rape, it isn't important? It is probably more of a survivor group, one of these "safe places" for women. Except they stop that meeting to discuss a news article that "rocked" their school's campus. Yet it isn't a place to discuss other peoples feelings towards it. Or rather, a "dudebros" feeling towards it. I could sit all day and debunk anything a feminist…

They only ban those who go against their beliefs, not those who may be going "a little" too far. I hate how people always claim that it's only radfems who hold anything close to these beliefs. What is being taught in gender studies, and through the mainstream feminist movement, is what most groups find issues with. Just because a "coffee shop" feminist isn't that person, they seem to feel they can ignore every issue that comes to them. Yet they tote their fabricated statistics, and constantly br…
