As I wrote above, I don't believe the entire PUA community can be painted with such a broad brush. I think a lot of the advice is genuine and just basic social skills, but as I said before, some of it can get unintentionally lost in concepts that are ultimately unhealthy. Self-improvement and psychology are deep, deep and delicate subjects, and I think sometimes classic PUA philosophy tends to ignore deeply rooted beliefs and focus on the surface-level results and tactics instead. Absolutely. A lot of the ideas I wrote here are inspired by Mark Manson. I'm happy to see his advice is being spread around. He definitely changed the way I think about connecting with women and people in general. I have a lot of respect for that guy.

I've heard of The Way of the Superior Man but I don't know much about it. I'll definitely check it out sometime soon. It's true, I think one of the things that go wrong with the PUA community is that it's less centered on HOW you get what you're going for and more fixated on the immediate results. Basically, whatever gets you laid is what you should do to improve yourself. Thanks man, I appreciate it. I went in and out of PUA philosophy, and later started to gravitate towards more introspection-based advice that was less to do with tactics and game plans and more to do with emotional awareness, psychology, etc. I hope this idea helps you out in some way, it certainly does for me.
