I quit teaching. It was impossible to balance the needs of the kids, parents, and bosses. I went back to sub once, and it reminded me of why I quit. The kids were just miserable, and I can't blame them. I could give and give and maybe one in 20 would care. Find a way out! I never got the sense she was portrayed positively. The most generous reading I can interpret is that she was too awkward to be honest with beta-dude in the first place, but even if that were the case, I don't think the show portrayed her in a sympathetic way. She's overtly looking into sex, and thought that beta-boy was inferior, so she jumped at the first chance and humiliated him.
