It's because women generally date older men. You'll see the number of single guys goes down over age while the number of single women generally increases over time as they age out of the dating market. The exception seems to be the youngest age bracket of women but I'm guessing that that's because these days having a boyfriend is less important than hooking up when you are in college. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_disparity_in_sexual_relationships#Statistics

Yeah you pair up with one of the bridesmaids. It's really not that big of a deal, it's just for symmetry in wedding photos and whatever, it's not like you've gotta entertain her for the night.

You pray to Mary to be an intermediary to Christ on your behalf, despite the entire point of Christ being to be the intermediary. Other people pray to saints. You worship men.

This is the most crushing aspect of these types of endings for me. I understand there are two sides to every story but it's almost like a complete retcon takes place to the point where everything gets rewritten and all objectivity goes out the window. There's always some new exciting thing to move on to and it's time to just get rid of the dead weight that once was the exciting life she couldn't wait for before. Sometimes you even get villainized for your trouble. What's the point of even sharin…

Travel nursing will allow you to go to different locations in your camper and you will always have work. There is an article about a couple who both do that and they essentially are living your dream. Downside is the work might be in a location you don't want to be. Might not pay as well as the CS job but it can be harder to find a work remote one for those, not impossible though. What do you mean by financial independence though? Retiring early or not having debt? 40 is a bit on the early side …

So don't you think it's overplayed a bit. The effects of the wall on women. Yes, absolutely. Unless you completely let yourself go and age like cheese many women who relied on their looks when they were younger will continue to be attractive into their forties. Maybe they can't garner the attention of the same guys or the specific ones they want but many times they still can, especially if there are older, wealthier men that are lonely and looking to dote on someone. They always say intimidating because their women friends suggest it to them. Guys are not intimidated by successful women, It's typically just that she has an abrasive personality or is too career focused and makes you feel like you would be an after thought. I don't disagree with anything you said, I suppose I'm just looking at this from the perspective of "find happiness with yourself before finding happiness with somebody else" to be more of a platitude in my experience. Sometimes only so much progress can be made in that regard and the fulfilling relationship is ultimately what gives you that happiness. I would agree that being unable to function without external validation is a weakness, but conversely, never receiving it can be a detriment to m…

Why is it toxic? A fulfilling partner can really change your outlook on life and yourself, as can taking charge with your own perceptions. Therapists aren't magic and really only help you with the latter half anyway, assuming you even have a good one

Why would he get a minimum wage job? If he was at a prestigious institution for whatever his degree was in he should at least be able to get an entry level job in that field. It's less about if they can access or be forced to access the $X in crypto and more that they owe $X to the estate that is being split. If you have a forensic account that sees that you transferred $X over 10 years to your wallet you'll be on the hook for at least that number if you try to hide it

However, recently when I spoke to a friend of mine, she told me that one of her friends recently divorced and she was not able to get any money from her husband because he kept it all in crypto and refused to reveal the private keys. I don't know why you're being so down on yourself, I think you're reading too many posts on here that say college doesn't matter and overemphasize trade schools and owning your own business and working with your hands etc. The degree you have gives you plenty of lucrative options, you can become an actuary and make some serious cash and work pretty much anywhere in the country you want. 10K in debt is nothing and you can get rid of that fairly easy once you start working.

They don't. Tons of women lose their minds over the concept of porn. Despite having consent, doing it of her own free will and essentially having a contract, they still consider the industry to take advantage of women. Forensic accounting is a thing. They look at cash flow in and out over years just like the IRS would. You can't just take $50,000 out of your bank account and say it's gone so I can't split it with her. If they can make enough of a case that x amount of money is missing and you are trying to hide it or keep it away from the other person then they make their assessment based on the theorized number which maybe even higher than what you're trying to hide

I had a short fling with this one girl that I knew was going to be temporary and I knew wasn't going to go anywhere meaningful. I mean, the pussy thing she wrote is true. I've been with women with only a handful of partners who had "looser" vaginas and girls that were promiscuous that needed a bunch of work to get into. It's just a function of how wide the girl was with how her body formed and whether or not she's had a kid, not how much dick she's had. You don't have trouble holding your poops in just because you've taken 10,000 shits by the time you're 30.

Nah man, they get sentenced less because the majority of judges are men. Men (and often women, but men especially) on average come ingrained with taking it easier on women. This could range from the subconscious aspect of ingratiating yourself with any potential mate or considering them less capable of withstanding a punishment, to the more conscious aspect of they remind you of your daughter / wife, etc. The state doesn't care about your childbearing years.

Look at those text messages. She's clearly into some sort of dom/sub kink and is trying to play it off as "sex trafficking" to her gullible brown paper bag of a husband when he eventually wised up to something going on. ST is typically when someone holds something over your head like a forced substance abuse dependency or has your passport or something so you can't leave. Makes no sense that an American housewife would have this done to her against her will because she could get out at any time.
/r/MGTOW21/04/21 04:33 PM

It's because most women choose men and most men have to work for it. Guys that have had little success with hotter women or have low self esteem might try easier targets to impress, other guys are just happy with less attractive women. This can be especially true if it's the first girl they've felt they've had a real connection with.

If it falls apart those men wind up getting completely broken and struggle to find a replacement purpose. It is truly amazing to see how quickly they move on afterwards. Most of these guys don't realize that their wife is only a week away from being with somebody else and then all the time effort and love they put into the last 15 years of their relationship can vaporize the moment it's over while she is posting on social media about how the brand new guy is teaching her what it truly feels like to be loved lmao

The truth doesn't have feelings, nor does it care about yours. Exactly why you should take a step back and look at your objectively wrong stance instead of worrying about metaphorical 'slavery'. There is nothing wrong with buying a house cash if that's what you want to do and are 100% risk averse but more often than not this is not the optimal way and will still be "a slave" to the government via property tax. If getting to the finish line while making the most from your investments with minimal…

u/bodaciousfi u/4534969346 "being a slave to banks" sounds like an emotionally charged statement that could prevent you from making the optimal choice. I don't mind being anything as long as it suits my needs and benefits me in the end. An example from Forbes: Assume that the Miller’s, age 60, are selling their house for $700,000 and their mortgage payoff is $200,000. They’re planning to buy a condo for $500,000 and put 20% down. Avoid long distance relationships in the future, it's usually very difficult to marry the reality for both parties to the expectations or status quo of the way things are during time where you are living separately and vacationing in each other's lives. This chart doesn't mean what you think it means. Desirability in this study is defined as the number messages, especially first contact, each demographic receives and also weights PageRank which is essentially looking at if popular people are talking to other popular people. Older guys get slightly more messages than younger guys. This isn't surprising as older women have to take a more involved approach as their desirability drops continually as they age. When you compare the mean IQs of adult men and women, men are 100 and women are 98. [...] So yes, adult men are on average smarter than women. I mean, that's fine but a delta of 2 against a STD of ~15 isn't terribly meaningful. I'm personally more interested in the differences between cognitive attributes than 2 IQ pts.

Generally speaking I would agree with you. This is one of the reasons that there are fewer female CEOs on boards. It takes certain masculine behavioral traits to excel in these competitive environments, especially when competing against men, and there seem to be a fewer number of women that exhibit or are willing to portray those tendencies. How much of that is physiological vs social is hard to say.

As far as IQ goes no, women have a higher and tighter distribution about the mean while men have a lower but broader distribution about the same mean. This means that there are fewer men of average IQ than women but there are more men at the extreme lows and extreme highs instead. Essentially, males have more variability. Other attributes like spatial reasoning, memory, inhibition, decision-making, etc seem to vary between the sexes as well with men being dominant in some and women dominant in o…

He's insecure about you for whatever reason but tries to antagonize from a distance so that when you confront him he can be the one to shut you down and get his power back. If this has been going on since August you should probably get a restraining order at this point. The bit where he's sending pics of your ex to you makes it seem like he thinks she's cheating with you but is phishing for responses / evidence.

I believe you are correct as social monogamy (rearing young as a pair with predefined roles) is more common than genetic monogamy. Even more interesting (or disheartening) is that even in some species with genetic monogamy, it seems that this is only enforced due to 'male guarding' while the female has no such proclivity for loyalty. This isn't necessarily across the board though.

Actually only about 5% of mammals are considered to be monogamous. Out of primates it's only about a quarter

Use a website like Bankrate that lists which banks have the highest interest rate for a savings account and pick one that is FDIC insured. Pick rates that are highest after the introductory periods are over as some institutions have high rates only for the first 6 to 12 months. Some of them are not negligible as interest rates had been rising a bit prior to covid (i got 2% on mine). Also read the fine print on minimum balances so that you don't lose money to service fees.

That's interesting, I'm going to keep an eye out for that from now on. Looking back on how I described my exes it was generally about how much I enjoyed our communication and back and forth and whether or not I could trust them. /r/MGTOW26/12/20 12:22 AM

Not necessarily. There's probably multiple socio-economic factors. Marriage rate are hitting all time lows in decades, abortion is much less taboo, the costs of housing/education/entertainment is increasing and we live in an increasingly hedonistic society that treats responsibility like the plague. It's likely a combination of things that is making people wait longer or decide to opt out of having children.

There is no such thing as cancelling a debt; because, that money came from somewhere, and it has to go back to somewhere. Otherwise, the loan company has made a massive loss and is basically giving away free money. Not quite. So her ex was perfectly good for 8 years, after which he magically became a narcissist? Right? Younger guys fall for this bullshit because they view it as unfair or that they can do better and that that is the reason the relationship failed and if they don't do that then it won't with them. Older guys have been through the ringer a couple times where they realize nothing is ever good enough and that the relationship gets retconned afterwards to defy reality.

The thing I find hilarious about women is that they expect men to put forth the same level of effort that they did when they were 20 as if they haven't been conditioned by 20 years of being treated as disposable to manage their own expectations and curb their enthusiasm. Why would you expect a 40-year-old guy to be fawning all over you and be inseparable if he has seen you trash the last relationship where you had that and has probably had it happened to him as well?

Women will always paint their situation / partner as the pinnacle of their relationship history. in 24 months the love of her life will turn out to be "abusive" and "controlling" and the new boy toy will be the one that taught her "what real love looks like". I think this is a natural function of being a man. The protective and provider instinct is tied to possessiveness, and you usually have to feel that you've found someone or something special or worth having in order for that to kick in. I have had women from my past come back and once that perception is broken, you really don't care what happens with them.

The woman is in charge of the household to such an extent that sometimes the husband doesn't even know where his underwear is. There is a increase in retirement age divorces because once the husband gets his pension or retirement the wife doesn't want to continue taking care of him into old age and only wants her share to gain her independence. Pretty sad.

Marriage is great if people stick to the traditional conservative values that predefine the roles of the family unit, the problem is so few do. Religion served society at least in that regard through indoctrination of societal values and rules of conduct for millennia. People may have been miserable but society benefited as a whole. Now that everyone wants to be independent it's a different game though. Going your own way doesn't mean you don't have a set of guiding principles you can live by, f…

A. The husband was trying to force her to have sex. That is never ok, and by justifying the husband’s actions and ignoring that part you are justifying that, which is objectively wrong. What you're saying isn't even true because as soon as they tried to have sex and it was obvious she wasn't into it, he didn't want any part of it anymore. Whether or not you feel it should be, sex is an expectation in most healthy relationships. I can just as easily glass-half-full/glass-half-empty your "the husb…

Sorry, I want to be that kind of an asshole and tell every female to fuck off, but ya...not in that case. Why? Being a jerk isn't a prerequisite for doing your own thing and neither is being abstinent. If you need female companionship that much to be happy, I say go for it, just don't let her live with you and don't get married again. When it starts falling apart, on to the next one. Do what makes you happy, not upset.

It's less about dying alone and more about feeling you're missing a vital component in sharing your life with someone. The problem is that more often than not that companionship that you desire so fervently eventually turns into betrayal, abondonment, resentment or feeling trapped with a malcontent with an increasingly higher level of demands. You just need to decide if the risk of that happening is worth the payoff for you if it doesn't.

It's between 70-100k on average but the benefit is it's your kid. I don't know much about it. You put out an ad of some sort and get lawyers to draw up contracts for whoever you select. It's basically reverse sperm donation. There's probably some risk if she decides to try to keep it and sue you for child support but I haven't looked into it much and that might be ultra rare.

You can always adopt or do a surrogate if having a bio child is important to you. The former averages around $30k but depending on your employer some will assist you. Plus with the costs you'd save on a wedding, divorce and dating and all the Hallmark holidays you're coming out way ahead.

Women do not want to stigmatize prostitution; they want to stigmatize and do away with fucking undesirable men out of obligation. You do already occasionally see this and I believe it will become more mainstream over time as analysts are predicting ever increasing numbers of women under 40 will have an onlyfans account. As women continue to press for sex work to become legalized and not-taboo I believe you will see this notion extend that way as well. I'm no longer religious but I look forward t…

Jordan Peterson says one of the aspects of modern Christianity he likes is the concept of carrying your cross. The idea that life is a struggle, that everything in nature is a competition, that betrayals and hurt is part of the regular human experience but that you need to accept that and keep on trucking. I will admit I have had great difficulty dwelling within what I struggle with but I feel like that kind of mindset can help you pull yourself out of it. I've never been one for self help books…

Because we have a natural biological imperative to protect children. As they age in Western culture, children hold inherent implied value because on some level you think they will grow up to be an idealized version of themselves and people project their mistakes onto the child thinking they could do things differently. In Western societies, women are not expected to provide anything other than affection though so parents will continue to let daughters live at home indefinitely, while boys are ex…

This is also why black men are so short tempered and violent, it's because they grew up seeing their mothers behave this way and they never had a man Show them how to be stoic or disciplined. I've never really thought of it that way, that's interesting. I wouldn't lay it all at the feet of the women though. The culture itself seems to perpetuate this type of thing. I can only conclude that women think a very attractive man is worth the risk of judgment and rejection and worth the risk of being pumped and dumped. The second one isn't really a risk for some women. A lot of them just want to use the guy with no strings attached or add him to their own rotation. Pump and dump and plate spinning goes both ways in today's hook-up society.

I think love languages highlight why incompatible people are incompatible. If what you define as affection is physical intimacy and hers is gifts then it means that you can both be throwing yourself at the relationship in the way that makes the most sense to you while it goes over the other person's head. At its core I don't think it's a bad concept but as with most marital seminars and horoscopy things it only gets you so far towards addressing any actual problems you might have

No, this woman is not asking "where are all the good men?" but she did reject a decent man for promiscuity and demonstrated unreasonable standards while offering minimal value in return.
