I'd like to kick some ideas around, about the current way that MGTOW videos get published, in hopes of finding a more creative, better-working system. Chime in with any comments, improvements, or alternate ways to improve how videos "get out". I’m just trying to get the ball rolling.
Suggestion: what about a change by creators, to involve "batching" and archiving several videos, up front, and then, uploading them; instead of "making one and then uploading it; making another, and uploading that one, and so on"?
Right now, each video that gets uploaded somewhere is "it's own unique thing" and it may or may not end up being, long-term, on any one platform (aka: "publishing place") even if the creator uploads it there. Deletion of videos gets annoying, I'm sure? For both creators and for content viewers. And downloading only one at a time, gets old too.
I'm thinking of a switch from "serial" to "parallel" methods, in a way: make six or eight or ten, and don't upload them anywhere, at first. Sit on them, for a while. Make sure they're all they individually can be. Personally, I always liked downloading some videos to keep permanently, for my collection: as both video and MP3 files. The latter form lets me listen to them privately, when I'm "out in the world," with earbuds in. (Kind of fun walking around in the Blue Pill world, with Red Pill material in my ears! And it gives you an excuse not to hear females, bothering you.)
I'm thinking that when a given creator had a decent-sized batch of them, that person could zip up the files for that batch, into a single file, of (say) half a gig or less in size, so it's not too much of a transfer or download or storage burden, and that even older computers won't choke on the files to be downloaded. I'm also thinking that if it was only one file, a person could then get a CRC code from that file (or use another such method, to track that it's as-intended by that creator) and THEN upload them ... but not upload them to some place that is a known, "easy target" for male voices being silenced, through arguably-illegal censorship by those plaforms or publishers. Or a simultaneous upload to both places? Established guys could do this, too, with their back catalogs: thus making sure each video they want out there, is out there.
Another benefit of doing things this way is that any other materials you might want to include, such as still images, or whatever, could be in the zip file. There's got to be some good 2D artists out there? Ones that could create some cool signs and sayings and what not, or even MGTOW coloring book pages. Stuff used maybe to decorate "wherever". Writers could put text-only (relatively plain ASCII) files in with the Zip files, if they wanted to. I say that because I've seen people in non-English-speaking countries ask some prolific creators for a text file (of the video's script) of what was said in a given video, so they could more easily (and more accurately) translate that video's spoken contents into their language; then spread it more, in their country. Or a list, with each batch, could be included: to show approx creation dates, and etc.
It seems to me that this method would eliminate a lot of "I can't find that specific video" hassles, when some creator quits, or gets fed up, or gets banned (again!?) since back-ups would be a part of the system, up front. Off-site storage for everything, automatically. We would just be telling the "publishers" or platforms "you're secondary" and doing things Our Way. In a sense, the individual videos would be the backups for the main zip file (if that makes sense)? A person could find a new creator; listen to a few videos; and immediately "download it all" (or at least the latest batches. Our detractors wouldn't be able to just sit there, all the time, waiting for the next single video, so they could make up some BS reason to flag it, and silence men.
I'm thinking of uploads to some place like archive dot org, FIRST, or a mirror system of some kind ... and quietly let the people know where it is (through, hopefully, means that isn't open to too much anti-MGTOW infiltration) ... and when enough people are "holding your backups" by downloading those zip files, THEN upload them to some place like ScrewTube or BITCHute or wherever. They're clearly not going to monetize anything men have to say, so it's not like it is a competition between making money from such places, and "giving things away for free".
So, to sum up or recap this brainstorming idea: I suggest that some folks might want to make more than one MGTOW video at a time; and then sit on "one batch" of newly-made videos, long enough to be sure they're what you want, and everything is clearly said and so on. Gather a small pile of them, together. When it feels like a good file size, then archive that numbered batch in as reliable a place as possible; and only THEN release them to censor's slings and arrows. Right now, it's like they know what door to watch, and they just set a bored sniper team in front of the door, and they "shoot" anything that comes out of that door. We're smarter than that. Why are we collectively playing that clearly-losing game? There must be better methods. I'm just trying to get the ball rolling, since "our opposition" is only going to double down, again and again and again, and silencing way too many men, as it is now. I see MGTOW as a think tank, so I hope (either here or "behind closed doors") this gets kicked around. I'd love to be able to download, say, a dozen files, and have all of a given content creator's videos ... then, another creator's files ... then, some more. Doing it in batches, like this, eliminates the comments section’s stuff … but places like ScrewTube delete anything they hate, in any case. I’d rather “eliminate infiltrators” up front, and skip the comments sections. If I (we) could get the actual content (“signal”) and be reasonably sure we had all of it, without having to deal with all the added “noise” ... personally, I’d love that!!! And I suspect many others might, as well.
