last time i went out for drinks with a chick some random guy kept buying her drinks without ever talking to her, the waitress kept coming up and saying sorry but that guy bought you another one. there was an altercation when he first came and met up with the girls and a 15 min amgument started, i was origionally going to go into it when i started the post but once i seen how long it wsa becoming i left that part out. as it wasn't a boy friend of one of the girls we were after, just one of their friends.

a suit is not needed, lots of people think of dressing up as far to formal, i also have the same approach as the origional poster. A good clean pair of jeans, a dress shirt, and some black shoes (not dress shoes, just something that is all black and not a typical bulky skate shoe) is what ill wear. I still wear jeans, there are days i still wear t's, for me though the looking clean and confident look works.

As some other people have said, its an ambiguous term. When i go out i dont wear a suit and polished shoes, its not like im dressing for a wedding, the way i look at it is i dress as though i was going out for dinner with my extended family. You want to look decent and clean, but you won't be weaing a suit. exactly, i find that having planned lines of flirting is way less successful then on the spot things. You can plan a line all you want but its not going to work if there is no place for it in the conversation you are already having.
