had a bunch of first dates recently that went nowhere, all off OLD. Girls seem super into me but through the course of the date it fizzles Almost feels like I might be trying too hard and outcome-oriented and then they sense that and they pull away. Any advice for just being in the moment while still moving the interaction fwd/escalating? As soon as I think to escalate or think oh we should change venues, oh I should go for a kiss, oh maybe I should ask her back to my place, it goes to shit. It'…

Thank you for this. I feel like I have some of the basics down, but I gotta work on showing attraction for sure

I have the same issue; I have lots of friends and everybody thinks im cool/chill, but I never pull/havent had that many sexual experiences. I think it's cause I'm inexperienced in that realm so getting past having fun in a social context and actually being intimate becomes difficult for me.

Yo, just wanted to say I'm 23 and in the same boat as you. had 3 sexual experiences that were basically one offs and a bunch of dead end dates... I'm trying to focus on my hobbies, my career, and trying to date as well, but its definitely tough and I have the same feelings as you.. I'm confident we will both figure it out in time though. My goal is to just keep trying to meet more people and talk to more girls utilizing both online dating and my hobbies and social network

I went on a first date recently and struggled a bit with this too... It's also tough cause these people we meet are literally strangers

Hey man, just wanted to say youre not alone... I'm struggling with this as well. I go on dates off dating apps sometimes, but it usually fizzles out.. Just gotta keep trying
/r/seduction04/08/21 06:56 PM

Sometimes I feel shitty cause I havn't banged many girls and I'm 22 and don't have much experience, yet all my friends can go out and get laid routinely.. I guess I gotta stop comparing myself.. Even when I go out with them Idk how to escalate to get laid etc...

did your success rate in getting a second date increase as you dated more? I recently started rlly pursuing dating and so far, my success rate for second dates hasn't been great...
/r/seduction21/06/21 04:59 PM

Just chiming in to say youre not alone. Im basically in the same boat and I’m 22 as well. Lately, I’ve been trying to go out more and talk to girls. So far I’ve experienced a bunch of rejection but I’m committed to figuring it out so Imma keep pushing. If you ever wna talk feel free to hmu

this is actually really funny; if shes into you, this might just work
/r/seduction17/06/21 05:31 AM

How old were you when you started? I’m 22 and had a few drunk hookups but don’t really have much exp and COVID made going out rlly tough. Now, I’m trying to go out alot more and talking to everybody at my hobbies to enhance my social skills! Any tips?

you gotta have the mindset of: if she replies cool, if she doesn't reply, also cool; just carry on with your life regardless of her... I struggle with this mindset myself, but its by far the healthiest and has brought me the most success and least stress when I have it.

Definitely easy; make it clear that you like me and I'll be 100% more into you if we are on a date already

How old are you fam? I recently turned 22, graduated college and sometimes feel a lot like you do. College wasnt as fruitful as I had hoped and now the pandemic has made it hard to meet anyone at all

I mean lets be honest here, is there someone without at least 1 small insecurity?

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Having confidence involves unabashedly being your truest self. That means going for what you want and not being afraid of seeing how you are seen. These games are the actions of someone who is scared of being found out for who they really are and is supremely confident. I'm not saying to act clingy; I'm saying to act with self-respect and with what you believe.

I feel like its so difficult to get to this mindset if you've never had a relationship or have very few sexual experiences. Once you've experienced those things, you know what it's like and you know it's not a big deal. Without that understanding, it's so much more difficult to adopt this mindset.

in all my experiences, not actively pursuing getting laid would just result in having conversation and nothing more. I don't really understand the concept of "don't try to get laid"

whats it like traveling to japan without speaking Japanese? I'm considering going next summer (potentially alone) and would love some info/tips

I appreciate this advice, but is there any way you can expand on being confident. Is there a good analogy for what being confident with girls generally feels like/looks like? I feel like I’m pretty confident but maybe I’m not showing it well enough?

So with 1 girl I teased her alot and there was alot of tension, we ended up back at my place making out on my bed but when I went for her bra she rebuffed me and then I tried again and she said “not this time”. I proceeded to get ghosted 1 girl I tried to escalate quickly as it was a tinder date but when I went for the kiss she moved away and then we spent the rest of the date just chatting. Proceeded to get ghosted 1 girl I tried to take it slower and get to know her better over 3 dates: coffee…

I guess I'm looking for a fwb or short term relationship. A sporty girl who also likes to chill and smoke weed would be ideal I guess

Appreciate the thorough reply, the ons was with a friend after a party and another was during a mystery date during a sorority formal in college, so they weren't exactly dates but yea. I think the major thing for me is finding opportunities and asking more people on dates, but idk where to do that. I like climbing so the climbing gym is my place for enhancing my social skills as I feel confident and like to be social in that space. Never asked a girl out there though although I've chatted with s…

How does one break the cycle? I’ve gone on a handful of dates and have had two separate ons, but I don’t have much other experiences at 21. I’m very upset at my inexperience and feel like my opportunities only come once every 6 months so I have to make them count and proceed to invariably fuck em up.

Why wouldn't you want to involve sexuality early? I feel like making a move or at least making your sexual desires known through touch ensures that both people are on the same page. Besides, sexuality is a core part of a healthy and budding relationship

So I'm at a party and I'm talking with a girl. Eye contact is there, maybe some touching, arm, lower back, etc. Conversation reaches a lull and I'll go talk to other friends. Basically, Idk how to get to that next level of making out and going back to my place. Am I supposed to talk about sexual topics, find her later and ask if she wants to come back to my place, or something else??

if you're in college and you establish a friendly rapport, how do you know if you should ask them out?

In my opinion this approach has worked because it is essentially an exceptionally drawn out version of good game. You build comfort and rapport all while creating mystery and intrigue and finally you start to establish kino and escalate accordingly. However, I believe this can work in an expedited fashion of 1-2 dates or even 1 really long date/night out.

Vibed the whole night and made out briefly. In hindsight, I definitely could have pushed for more and I never made the transition to my place but I’m relatively new at this and the logistics were off as she was on vacation with her friends

I fuckin love this post. This is good shit bro. I’m solotraveling and met this really cute girl in a bar tonight when I was completely planning on just staying in at my airbnb. Life hits you at the most random of times. The key is to believe and to never lose hope

So I’ve been working on becoming a more social person in general and don’t find it too hard to chat up people, but I find myself sticking to general or safer topics. Any suggestions for getting to that deeper level? Would you say the key is to ask nonconventional questions or to listen and develop the topic at hand?
