Firearm training. Being proficient with a two quality firearms (or 3) is good for your psyche, if not your physical condition. Train with a light sidearm (I carry a .38) for carry, a heavier caliber for auto (I carry a 1911 in .45 cal), and a good quality rifle (I have several) for home use. Having a machete sharpened to razor sharpness in your garage and basement is also a good idea.
