Wanting your family back- break a plate and put it back together. I think a majority of us have done what your saying, taking all the blame for the relationship so we can fix it all. You would benefit from reading this in 6 months time. See if you still feel the same.

Values Morals How you both view money, how you use money What are your boundaries, what are hers? Are they negotiable, are you willing to work in a framework. Example If you grew up poor and she grew up rich then they may be a difference on how you view money, doesn’t seem like much but if you value security of a home and she values furnishing the home constantly. In all honesty, my example was my experience. Emotional maturity is huge in my book, see how they speak about an ex.

The empty feeling, ahhhh how I remember this. Felt like the world was cold and numb. Almost like walking along side your body. It took me months to feel like me again. I realised this was the new normal and stop trying to resist what is rather that comparing what was. Look after your self, at the beginning it’s 7 bad days and 0 good days and slowly it will be 4 bad days 3 okay days. Then a good day will pop in. It’s not linear, your not going backwards. Hope you feel better!

Cheers, I think it’s been build up of a combination of her affair, me trying to be the good co parent. The affair being with him. I would like to just not speak to her. Family wizard- I will check this out. Thank you for your response. I need to cool my jets

As a therapist, I would never discuss my client going through divorce with a mediator. Keep your stuff private! One thing can sink the ship

If you don’t care then you may have your answer to ending it or not.

Not bad bother and yourself? I’ve moved on and left the marriage in the past with a ton of therapy and personal work. Just dealing with co parenting and the ongoing changes with dynamic. Other than that my wage has increased along with opportunity’s. Funny enough I have always been a therapist my self now I have shifting to counselling men going through it. Silver lining really. How are you travelling?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
