The maximum sentence for felony identity theft is 3 years in california, and 4 for extortion. He was convicted of 21 counts of the former and 6 of the latter. The article states the judge's decision was based on the number of victims, and that they recovered over 10,000 images. I don't have any reference on hand for the usual sentences for these crimes in California, but I don't see any overreach here.

I know the rape rate is smaller, I'm asking about general sexual assaults. The statistic mentioned in the article refers to sexual assault, not rape specifically, even though the student does bring rape.

What are the actual numbers on this? I know that the "one-in-five female students are raped" statistic is false, but I seem to remember it being relatively close to that figure if you're only counting general sexual assault (for all students as well, not just women).

I am no model, but some women care and some don't. Some women also care that I'm not black, or that I don't have blue eyes, or any number of random things outside of my control. Even then, it's usually general preference over steadfast necessity. It's important to avoid assuming women want xyz traits you don't have, instead you should be undeniable in the traits you do have.

I can't really argue with #5, but the rest are so clueless I'd think she was trolling in any other context. The end game with height is get past it, not to out-douche the other guy. What kind of bars do you go to? I've been in some awful dives and I've only rarely seen the behavior you describe, but I've never noticed a height correlation. It might be worth finding a new scene. Edit: As far as presence, all you need is the right attitude and social skills. Intimidation doesn't actually get you genuine respect.

You're definitely right, the dictionary definition is: "The combination of qualities expected of an ideal knight, especially courage, honor, courtesy, justice, and a readiness to help the weak." I can't say I found anything she said particularly disagreeable, lowering fitness standards for women then expecting the same performance as men is flawed. Keep equal standards and you'll have fewer, but better, women. She makes good points as well about adding more combat-oriented fitness training, which is true for both men and women and is something the army is (or at least had been) experimenting with.
