Reproductive success of individuals with schizophrenia, autism, bipolar disorder, depression, anorexia nervosa, and substance abuse. A fertility ratio of 1 represents that of the general population.A significant portion of men are very attracted to unstable women who take them on a roller coaster ride. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/12/19 04:34 AM
The rise of Hating Women's Rights is correlated with the rise of Low Value MenThe manospherian misogynists are definitely a minority irl and foreigners are definitely overrepresented, but a very large number of them are white, black, or 3rd gen+. Lurking around /pol/ or MGTOW kinda makes that clear. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/12/19 12:49 AM
post wall women and low smv menI'm 19 and a girl and work at a coffee shop. 50+ women are the nicest, most patient demographic. The rude women tend to be 30 somethings with small children. The pretty, 30 something, yoga moms with small children are usually the most entitled. Middle aged men are also often awful to deal with. They are often grumpy/rude or creepy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/12/19 12:44 AM
Q4All: Anti-feminists. Come up with your own counter movement that you think addresses what feminism gets wrong.Well abortion rights, women's education, women's voting rights, women's ability to have their own bank accounts and credit cards are pretty much due to feminism. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/11/19 11:27 PM
If j wanted to find out what guys find attractive do I just go to top r/goddesses or r/gonewild posts?I can see what your saying about Diana as she mostly looked better than average due to being a healthy body weight and having good styling/hair/makeup. But Meghan Markle is well above average. Most actresses are. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/11/19 07:28 PM
If j wanted to find out what guys find attractive do I just go to top r/goddesses or r/gonewild posts?Meghan Markle is very beautiful. She's significantly above average. Diana was average to somewhat above average for a slim slim young women who had professional styling, hair, and makeup. So she was better looking than the general population. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/11/19 07:29 AM

AMALT - All Men Are Like ThatBy good I mean behaving in a way that avoids harming others and trying to care about the wellbeing of others. That's basically what being prosocial means. Empathy helps a person behave in a prosocial manner. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/11/19 03:49 AM
AMALT - All Men Are Like ThatExcept men are on average more predisposed to violence and antisocial behavior, and are on average less empatheti than women. While being prosocial and empathetic aren't the only requirements of being a good person, it's pretty much impossible to be a good person without those traits. So women are on average more good, which shifts the bell curve. So really, really, really good women are less exceptional than their male equivalents Anecdotally I know more really, really, really good women than m… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/11/19 12:48 AM
If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Iceland is one tiny country, so it's an exception to the trend. Also most IQ tests show that men and women are similar in terms of intelligence. Nobel prize winners are extreme outliers, organ donors are not; most organ live donors tend to be relatively average in terms of economics, status, education. There are only a few hundred Nobel Physics Laureates. Thousands of people donate organs every year. There are over 6000 live kidney donors in America in just one year. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/11/19 12:20 AM
AMALT - All Men Are Like ThatThat might be because you dont spend a lot of time with women. Of course half of them are "special" by being exceptionally terrible, but that's true for men as well, and exceptionally terrible men tend to be really, really bad people. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/11/19 12:14 AM
AMALT - All Men Are Like ThatMost men are still basic af though. Only like 10% of men and like 5% or 6% are actually "special". And half of them are special by being much worse than average. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 11:13 PM
If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Yes but the number of very sick people who are not broke, just scraping by, or financially tight is pretty small. A lot of middle class Americans will see their retirements, savings, and estates entirely wiped out by medical bills. Even upper middle class Americans will lose a lot of their assets. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 09:42 PM
If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Considering healthcare costs and the age of study participants most women would get nothing or next to nothing since most or all of the estate will be used to pay for healthcare | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 09:06 PM
If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Which is why woman donate organs to their ill husband at a greater rate, which allows the husbands to live much longer. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 09:03 PM
To what extent does the modern SMP damage women?I would say that a lot of women experience being treated poorly or witness their friends being treated poorly on the dating market, and it does make it harder to form stable relationships. But women have always been treated poorly so this isn't a new problem. It was just harder to leave in the past. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 09:01 PM

To what extent does the modern SMP damage women?Men have been lying, cheating, and abusing women for all of human history. Now in the developed world and increasingly in the developed world men are less able to inflict the worst forms of abuse on women. Child marriage, especially for girls under 15, has been declining. Rates of child sexual abuse have also started declining. Domestic violence has become unacceptable or at least less acceptable. | 2 | If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Based on the stats for the US and UK they are about evenly split by sex, which is exactly what I expected. It seems more tilted towards men in less egalitarian countries. I've donated blood before and its pretty easy, it isn't much of a sacrifice. There's some mild pain and you may be a bit dizzy at the end, but something sugary should help. Plus blood donors are paid a lot of the time. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 08:20 PM
If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Organ donation is still a very selfless and caring act. And most seriously ill patients will need at least some help bathing and dressing at one point. Also the husband falling ill did not increase and maybe even decreased the risk of divorce. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 07:46 PM
Who in this sub would really like to go back to the time when women couldn’t support themselves and were second class citizens?Lots of cheating happened on the dl. | 7 | If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Donating an organ to someone is pretty selfless especially considering the risk of death, the surgery, etc. Caring for a sick person is also very difficult, so anybody who does that is probably not selfish. Bathing and dressing someone, insuring they eat, managing medication, taking them to doctors appointments, etc. is incredibly exhausting. | 6 | If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?A lot of the effort is token (about a quarter to a third), but a lot is genuine. Also middle class people dont have large inheritances or life insurance payouts. 43% of Americans have no life insurance. Middle class Americans will lose most if not all of their estate to cover medical costs. Also cancer patients tend to be on the older end, and considering how life insurance costs increase with age, most people dont have that much. | 6 | If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Caring for a sick person full time probably requires more work than your standard 9 to 5 job. I volunteer at a cancer treatment facility. My 6 hour shifts are incredibly tiring. And I've worked at restaurants and retail, and they were easier. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 07:47 AM
If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Medical costs will wipe out most if not all of the money. People only get a small amount of status if they care for sick spouses. The status alone will not not even come close to the amount of time, resources, and energy it takes to be caretaker of someone sick. People need another reason to be able to do something so difficult. In these sort of cases attachment plays a pretty huge role. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 07:44 AM

If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse? Both of the articles found that a wife's illness increased the risk of divorce, but the same was not true for husbands. However, the increase in divorce risk in the 2nd study was pretty small. The 1st study found a much higher risk of divorce when women are diagnosed with cancer. Also after medical bills, the payouts most people receive are measly. And caring for a sick person is incredibly time consuming and difficult. | 7 | If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Caring for sick people is very hard and time consuming. If they are doing it solely for a the small end payout they will get after all the medical bills are paid, they would be much better off working a minimum wage job. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 07:07 AM
If woman are so selfish during romantic relationships, why are they less likely to leave a sick spouse and more likely to donate organs to a spouse?Caring for a terminally ill person is incredibly difficult. The number of people willing to go through that for social approval is pretty small. Its also worth noting that women are far more likely to be caretakers in general. They are more likely to care for elderly parents, care more for adult children, etc https://www.agingcare.com/articles/amp/171474 https://www.google.com/amp/s/fivethirtyeight.com/features/guess-who-cares-for-young-adults-when-they-move-back-home/amp/ | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 07:04 AM

Since Women's attractiveness to men will just decline with age, there's point in marriage or a LTR with menIt's easy for men to say don't worry or wallow about aging, but they dont lose romantic or social currency the way women do. Strangers and acquaintances treating me differently is one thing, but I can have friends who will still enjoy my friendship and will enjoy the some of the qualities I develop through aging. Since men pretty much only value youth, beauty, you being Mommy 2.0, your left with being Mommy 2.0 once your old. So you end up less valued than before. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/11/19 12:17 AM

While that's disgusting and should be punished with jail time, it's not pedophilia as mid to late teens are done with or close to done with puberty. Also male teachers are more likely to have sex with their students. Over 60% of complaints involve male teachers, but less than half of teachers are men. Pedophilia and sexual abuse of children under 15 is overwhelming done by men. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/11/19 03:56 PM |

Also I see like 3× as many couples where the girl is hotter compared to couples where the guy is hotter. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4011637/ A review of 4 studies found that wives physical attractiveness predicted husband's satisfaction but husband's physical attractiveness had less/no impact on wives satisfaction. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/11/19 01:23 PM |

Why do you think even the most beautiful of women get EDs and BDD?Body dysmorphia alters a person's perception of reality. Also as a women even being a little bit more beautiful means better treatment, so every little incremental increase in beauty means that people are kinder to you, it means that you get more random favors, it means that society seems you more valuable. Your disordered eating is reinforced by society and it becomes a habit. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/11/19 07:31 AM

In the UMC suburb I grew up in, this sort of stuff was very, very rare. 2 or 3 years happened but nothing like this. And most older men and older teen boys will leave you alone until you are 16ish. But for a lot of components of attractiveness there isn't much evidence showing their relatedness to anything actually useful/good and could very well be due to Fisherian Runways. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/10/19 04:14 AM |

Also you can let people borrow your clothes for money to take pics as well. Also with Gen Z and younger millennials, lots of men love to buy shit like Supreme and Gucci thanks to hypebeast culture. Materialism is something that transcends sex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/09/19 01:49 PM |

Swedish sex survey seems to confirm RP basic conceptsIts probably higher than 11% for young women. The average age of sexual debut has gone up for both genders. | 2 | Is dating harder for men today (in general) than it used to be? Or are men today less motivated (in general) than they used to be?Yeah most gene editing research is focused on somatic cells. And when it comes to designer babies, it will probably be focused on preventing disorders caused by one gene. I'm actually taking a genetics class now, and I've realized is how incredibly complicated it is to understand how genes work due to interactions between genes, gene interactions with the environment, etc. One thing that wasn't mentioned much in the twins in China scandal is the the variant of the gene that made the girls immune… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/09/19 12:05 AM

Q4all: what is this "unconditional love" you all speak of?Lol no. As a formerly ugly girl, men and boys will be far crueler to you when you are ugly. I was middle school aged when I was ugly, and I was quiet, well behaved, kind, and agreeable to the point of doormatness, and I was still treated poorly by almost every male over 11. Even a lot of my male teachers were colder to me than my prettier classmates. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/09/19 08:17 PM
Is dating harder for men today (in general) than it used to be? Or are men today less motivated (in general) than they used to be?I actually went to a talk by Dr. Jennifer Doudna (CRISPR co-discoverer) and one thing that she mentioned was that CRISPR was only good for changing specific Genes in specific ways like you could change a mutant allele that causes cystic fibrosis into the normal variant of the allele with CRISPR, but stuff like cancer, heart disease, etc. are literally influenced by hundreds if not thousands of Genes, so CRISPR wouldn't actually help with stuff like that. Around half of the time I've seen guys complain about girls only wanting bad boys, it's over a way out of his league girl and most of the time her bf isn't an asshole, he's just a popular, hot guy. | 1 | Is dating harder for men today (in general) than it used to be? Or are men today less motivated (in general) than they used to be?Yeah I've done a bit of gig work. | 1 | Is dating harder for men today (in general) than it used to be? Or are men today less motivated (in general) than they used to be?Yeah I have to agree. I think the ideal would be college, a couple years to figure your shit out, and then becoming a "real adult" sometime in your late 20s. That way you have your youth to enjoy but you also have stability at a reasonable age, and people in their 20s have the healthiest children Unfortunately low wages, the gig economy, expensive healthcare and housing have made this really difficult When I talk to a lot of Gen X parents, they had this and seemed to really enjoy it. Literally nobody I knew started having sex voluntarily until they were at least 15. I remember stats saying that the average age of virginity loss is 17, and I absolutely believe this. Most people get their 1st serious dating partner sometime between the ages of 15-19 and then lose their virginity to that person. | 5 | CMV: I think the level of hate that the Red Pill gets is uncalled forThe entire concept of last minute resistance is probably my biggest objection. Its essentially taking advantage of the fact that a lot of women are very agreeable, terrified of conflict, and due to that will give into having sex they don't really want to have. It is also straight up dangerous to tell a bunch of socially awkward, angry at women, and just generally clueless men that hey women are not actually saying no, you just need to break through their resistance, that is just a terrible idea.… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/09/19 02:34 PM

Q4All: What Do You Pity About The Opposite Gender? And How Do You Think Your Gender Gets A Genuinely Bad Deal?Yeah I remember my male cousin and my dad talking about traveling across basically every state in India when they were young. Want to go to a place that's Chirstian? Lots of parts of Africa or a Latin American gang are suitable. If you want to be part of a patriarchal, hierarchical society, there are plenty of places to do that. Do any of those places sound appealing? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/09/19 12:55 AM
Those of you that hate the opposite gender, why?Hatred often implies a dislike so strong that you wish bad things on someone. And hatred of a group often implies that you wish for their rights to be taken away or you wish for harm to be inflicted on them. I don't want to hurt men, I don't want to take away their political rights, I don't want to prevent them from working, I don't want to bar them from education, and I certainly don't want to enact terrorism on them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/09/19 12:37 AM

I see a lot of shock onlineLol it's pretty much impossible to glam up more than 2 points irl, and even that takes forever and requires a lot of skill. On a day to day basis you can improve 0.5 to 1 points. The only reason men think you can go from a 6 to a 9 with stuff like heels, tight clothing, and makeup is because men overvalue signals of sexual availability. I see a lot of shock onlineI'm bisexual and I've noticed that I don't fall for those same attraction triggers as men, well except maybe full lips. Somebody who behaves in an altruistic manner, someone who tries to avoid harming others, and in terms of a partner somebody who cares for me and helps me when I need it. | 6 | Why are young women more likely than young men to realize that being attractive/popular is important?Yup. | 5 | Why are young women more likely than young men to realize that being attractive/popular is important?I knew that women were supposed to be beautiful before I went to elementary school. I realized that more attractive women were treated better by the time I was 8. I've been a 3.5 and now I'm a 7, and I see how much nicer people are to me. I see how much skincare, haircare, makeup, fashion, diets, etc are advertised to women. Now thanks to social media 13 year olds wear full faces. | 3 | What makes men so shocked that women use makeup? I see a lot of shock onlineYeah I feel that way too. It also makes them look older than they are. When I first saw one of my friends' sister I thought she was our age (18-19ish). A couple hours later I saw her without makeup and realized she was 14/15. It was offputting. Social media was a big part of this. Girls my age were the very last ones allowed to have an awkward phase (and even then it was heavily punished and a lot of girls avoided it). Now girls are expected to go from girl to woman without any transition. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/09/19 08:47 PM |
What makes men so shocked that women use makeup? I see a lot of shock onlineThat's not true irl, only in pictures with the right angles. A 9/10 has to have the right bone structure. In real life makeup can improve you by 0.5-2 points. But the kind of makeup you need to wear to improve by 2 points requires a lot of skill and time, so it cant be done every day. Makeup you wear on an everyday basis can make a 6.5 a 7 maybe 7.5 if you already have decent skin and pay attention to eye makeup. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/09/19 08:43 PM

If a person was stranded on a desert island with an opposite sex kid/teen, and nobody else ever learned what happened on that island..I agree that anybody that sleeps with a 9 year old and anyone older than 15 who sleeps with a 13 year old is disgusting, but after the Epstein scandal and listening to what men on this forum (plus men on other parts of the internet and even men in academia) justify having sex with middle school aged girls, and thinking back to the fact that me and my friends started experiencing harassment when we were 12-14, and several studies I read about men's attraction to various ages, I'm beginning to won… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/19 10:33 PM
| -1 | If a person was stranded on a desert island with an opposite sex kid/teen, and nobody else ever learned what happened on that island..Oh I absolutely agree with point 1. Even in places where child marriage is allowed there are rules against having sex with prepubescent and pubescent children, and more child marriages involve girls 15+ than under 15. Having sex with an elementary or middle school aged child abuse, and even very patriarchal societies had some (weak) rules against this. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/19 10:11 PM |
If a person was stranded on a desert island with an opposite sex kid/teen, and nobody else ever learned what happened on that island..Yeah. I'm disgusted by people like that too, anybody who does that to a middle school aged child is psychologically damaging them for life and does not care about that child's wellbeing. People like that a selfish, cruel, and thoughtless. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/19 09:47 PM

How has your time on PPD affected your view of the other sex?All that post did was repeat the 17-45 statistic. In fact it used the same sources as your previous article. And all of the studies were conducted before 2000, and as I've stated before these studies did not have representative samples, and many also had a small sample size. The only numerical stats on the page are the 17-45 and the up to 50% stat. (Btw I looked into study 12 where the coercion stat came from, it stated around 31% not 50% so that may have been a typo). It should also be mentioned that the page you pulled up only cites studies from the 90s and 80s because it hasn't been updated since the year 2000 (notice the copyright 2000 at the bottom of the page). | 2 | How has your time on PPD affected your view of the other sex? What I mean by low sociosexuality is both only sex within a committed relationship, and only interested in vanilla sex (aka just oral and vaginal). Nk choking, no group sex (I'm bi and guys ask about threesomes before we even go on a 1st date), no taking pictures or videos, no trying to imitate porn, nothing that causes more than mild pain. But over the past year my view of men tanked. Thank goodness I haven't had sex with one yet. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/09/19 12:04 AM

Please remember that it is easier to seriously hurt someone or even kill a person than you think it is especially if you get into stuff like choking, gagging, smacking people in places like the head, back, or abdominal area, or by applying lots of pressure to certain bones, etc. So if you do get into BDSM please realize that its possible to seriously injure someone and avoid that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/09/19 06:27 AM |

The struggles of sexually internalized misogynyNot everything about a person needs to be expressed. Most people dream up some fucked up crap. A lot of it could seriously and permanently harm others, and is best left in your head. Also often times a fantasy comes from an unhealthy place. In OPs case it seems like his fantasy came from a toxic place. There's a reason people feel shame and guilt when they fantasize about hurting someone--hurting someone is bad. Shame and guilt exist for a reason, and we shouldn't try to ignore them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/09/19 05:14 AM
The struggles of sexually internalized misogynyMost porn is made by men. Most men is made for men. Men consume over 70% of porn in mainstream sites like xhamster and pornhub, and on paid porn sites the userbase becomes even more male. About a third to a half of women dont watch porn at all. The average women is more attractive than the average man. There's more Stacy than Chad. (I'm bisexual and I see more attractive women on a day to day basis than attractive men). Men care more about appearance. However, now that women are not dependent on men, they are pickier in terms of appearance than they were in the past and men begin the understand the pressure to be beautiful. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/09/19 03:02 AM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableYes this. They compare a dressed up, airbrushed, post plastic surgery insta girl/celeb to the girls they see everyday. These girls are 8s and 9s. Good features, good bodies, some exceptional features, but the fact that they have some tiny flaws (like all other humans) causes a lot of men to think these girls "just above average." | 12 | A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableI would say that around 90% of couples are looks matched if you take into account the fact that women on average are better looking than men. Most of the time there is an attractiveness difference it's not too large of a gap (like 1 or 2 points). But women are far more likely to date down in terms of looks. | 1 | Why do (some) men think male decency should be rewarded with female beauty? The 1st study I linked shows that altruistic people both male and female report my romantic and sexual success. While yeah my 2nd study's methodology wasn't great it was very similar to your second study (where a bunch of women rated characters with various personality traits). Both studies had small sample sizes. All we can say is that the information is mixed. | 3 | A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableThey had a lot of it along with other skin issues. While 3 of these girls are intelligent honors/AP students and most of the orbiters were nerdy guys, these girls were also athletes and were decently popular. Their boyfriends were also semi popular to popular athletes in honors/AP classes. Their boyfriends did have better, more compatible personalities. | 1 | Why do (some) men think male decency should be rewarded with female beauty? That abstract is essentially saying that the effect of narcissism could be accounted for by extraversion. In a speed dating scenario more extroverted men would likely engage with women more and appear to be more confident. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/bjop.12208?casa_token=yekWPsTnSY4AAAAA%3AJQ97I8xNG6nvVv3jEWHta3MLq-SJj3zs3QMCobkVUJ_M5Q53J0vmhadDJo7ZJ1egQZZjIRK9rNrQnHA https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3851331/ | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 10:09 PM

A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableThen become hotter or realize that you are playing on a harder level, but stop whining about women not being attracted to you and stop complaining about women being hypergamous or shallow. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 09:54 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableI remember my blonde bff would get approached by gross middle aged men a lot. She would laugh in their face (still does). I pointed out that this was kinda mean, but she said that someone would have to break these men's delusions about how they were not attractive to women half their age. Tbh even though this is cruel it was kinda hilarious to see these men's delusions being crushed. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 09:16 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableYeah low value people are often exploited by high value people. | 9 | A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableIncels have really deep issues, but a lot of terpers also have issues. A lot of them are incredibly clueless, systemize things that shouldn't be systematized, and are bitter misogynists. An earlier post asked why bloops are mean and make fun of terps. It's because terps are an easy target due to the clueless, inept crap that terps rant about. And since many of them are misogynistic it's easy to morally justify bullying them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 08:36 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableTrue. Men tend to be hypergamous in terms of beauty and youth. Women tend to be hypergamous in terms of status and resources. People in general want to best they can get. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 08:31 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableThe girls said that they were not romantically interested in the men and they had hotter, more socially adept, and in two of the cases more intelligent boyfriends. The girls said that they were only interested in friendship and treated them like friends (e.g. doing group projects, hanging out in class, inviting them to events). In a lot of these cases the girls would find out that the boys were not interested in friendship and break it off, but that was after like a year of orbiting. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 08:27 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableWell these boys had nothing to offer the girls since these girls had hotter, more socially competent boyfriends, so they should stop complaining about being rejected and whining about the friendzone. If these men want hot girls they should find something that single hot girls value and offer that instead of posting on braincels, or screeching about women being hypergamous sluts incapable of love and maturity like terpers do. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 08:14 PM

A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableThey would talk with the boys in class and occasionally do group projects/homework with them, and would occasionally invite them to parties they were hosting, and since a lot of these girls were in various clubs that hosted fundraisers/events would ask the boys to come. Most of the girls said that they were only interested in friendship. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 08:06 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableExcept overweight and unattractive women usually understand that these comments are just their friends being nice. Research shows that women are aware of their attractiveness, its men who overestimate their attractiveness. In fact men are the ones who overestimate their skills, intelligence, etc. I'm saying that women should be honest that there is a barrier of looks that a man needs to surpass to be considered. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 08:03 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableI mean the girls were friends with some of the guys for at least a little while. A lot of the girls tried to reject nicely because they didn't want to hurt the guys feelings. My bff was the only one who harshly rejected guys initially. My lab partner didn't explicitly reject the guy until he started stalking her because she didn't want to be mean. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 07:56 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableTrue they could but none of them were willing to change, and these girls already had boyfriends (and were very attached to said boyfriends). | 16 | A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableYes but a well maintained beard for some men and a good haircut can make you more facially attractive. Good style can add another point. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 07:48 PM
Why do (some) men think male decency should be rewarded with female beauty? The 1st study showed that both men and women were attracted to narcissists and sociopaths. The second study explains your point better but the sample size is pretty small so it would require replication and a larger sample size. Especially since there are studies that show that altruistic men are more attractive. https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2016-26097-003 https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0191886918304586 https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/10/081014134027.htm | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 07:46 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableYeah that's true. I that better skincare and haircare becoming mainstream for men would help with the situation. But at the same time most of the girls I'm describing are 8/9 and the orbiters are 4-6 so at that point it's kinda straight up delusion. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 07:40 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableYeah I have to agree with that. While I think looks matter less for women in terms of attraction they are the biggest factor. I would say that for men looks are 90% and for women looks are 70-80% depending on the woman. Women do understate how important looks are and it would be better if people were more honest. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 07:35 PM
A lot of men fall into orbiting by going after girls well out of their league/girls who are unavailableMost 6/7 girls also do a lot of skincare, haircare, hair removal, etc. If men did things like that and had a normal bmi most could become 6/7. If men did this things along with gym a lot of them can become 7/8. I honestly think that a lot of advice for men focuses on the gym to much. Good skin, nice hair, nice grooming in general can add 2/3 points for a lot of people. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 07:32 PM
CMV: Women are responsible for their reproductionYes but you are an upper middle class professional and if I remember correctly your daughter is very intelligent, and it is very good that she was able to help her friends. | 1 | Why do (some) men think male decency should be rewarded with female beauty? If you read the post it was mostly news articles discussing studies. Also this was the only dark triad speed dating study I found. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/per.2040 In this study both male and female narcissists and sociopaths were rated more favorablely. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 05:49 PM
CMV: Women are responsible for their reproductionI would agree with that but that's ignoring the fact that a lot of these girls were only 13-15 years old, came from dysfunctional environments, had experienced childhood abuse, and had intellectual disabilities which made it difficult to encourage them to make good choices. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/19 05:27 PM
Why do (some) men think male decency should be rewarded with female beauty?I mean a lot of those studies weren't great. A lot of them had small sample sizes. The ASPD patients one had a tiny sample size, and it's very likely that there could be lying. The bullying one didn't take other factors into account, like the fact that bullies are generally more popular and attractive. The responsiveness one essentially states that men responded more positively to responsive women (women were neutral) which is unsurprising since men get less attention from the opposite sex. | 5 | CMV: Women are responsible for their reproductionThe vast majority of people who ever lived were poor and starving by current standards. Before the industrial revolution most people were poor, uneducated farmers. But guess what, they still reproduced. In fact, as a country gets more wealthy and women become more educated, birth rates go down. People only really start controlling their reproduction once they are educated, encouraged, and incentivized too. Also mass starvation is incredibly inhumane. Its borderline sociopathic. | 2 | CMV: Women are responsible for their reproductionWhile I disagree with parts of points 2 and 3, I do agree that women are more responsible for reproduction than men (I would say its like 80 women to 20 men). I also think that a lot of women make terrible choices in terms of reproduction and childcare, and I think that society should discourage these sorts of poor choices (like having a kid out of wedlock). That study defined rape, sexual coercion, and sexual assault in the way I detailed above. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/08/19 07:51 PM
men are in denialIn this case they used a scale which defines rape as unwanted oral, anal, or vaginal penetration by a penis or other object that occurred due to the utilization of force or through the victim being incapacitated by alcohol or drugs. Sexual assault basically involves all inappropriate touching. Sexual coercion is continually pressuring or using a position of power to make someone have sex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/08/19 05:07 PM
