Interest rates are very low but home prices are inflated. I’m of the opinion that a house is not a real investment, many times they cost more than renting. Look up the New York Times renting vs buy calculator. Run those numbers. Personally, I’m 30 and want to move within a few years so I’m renting. Listen to your intuition. Assuming you are a rather stable and healthy guy, you should be able to spot it early. Most woman will show themselves to you if you are aware and just sit back and listen. If you gather 2-3 data points early, then you should have no doubt that they may be crazy. All woman are crazy but use your judgement if it’s excessive. This can be tricky especially if they are hot, because you may rationalize. But again, use your best judgement and protect yourself first.
