Accept as long as it's a lateral offer, meaning they still agree to come to your place instead of suggesting dinner or drinks.

Seeing a plate on a Friday is usually better than a Saturday IMO.

If they counter offer with something specific, I take it (unless I’m busy). If it’s bullshit like “maybe next week”, that’s when you reject.

If they offer a reschedule I usually take it unless something better comes up.

Go with the sooner date, always. More time = Less interest.

Go with it and get laid. But make sure it's on a night when you probably can't line anything else up. In your example, having them over Sunday is better than Friday because you can likely line up another date Friday night.

Plus then they know they aren't a priority for a prime evening.

This is why you ask for THEIR availability first. Make them tell you when they are free. You avoid all this mess you are in
