–	Emotionally distant partner Thank you! That is a helpful perspective. I feel you are right - I cannot push him and need to accept this part of him if I want to be with him. I have been with men who are emotionally unstable and it was challenging and a bit draining. I see that he feels he is protecting the relationship by being more emotionally withdrawn, but sometimes it just feels like there’s a barrier between us.
