I'm creeped out by the fact that it was reported to be 'heavily soiled'. I don't think I want to know why.

Yes. I left my husband, got shouted at Christmas Day by my brother in law (then broke contact with my sister and him) and ended a 12 year friendship after she became toxic because I told her one time I didn't like the way she was talking to me, all in the last year. But I don't feel like I've lost anything. My family are rallied around me and I feel like I've just exposed people for what they really are. It's daunting to wonder who will still be around but I trust the process. The people still b…

Holy shit I saw an awesome tiktok talking about this! African feminist tiktok where women are like 'no dusties ever thanks bye' are culturally accepted by the intended audience and white feminism shoots that down.

Watch the men in your life if they complain about their family court situation. If they complain about the ex and all the 'bullshit' the court puts them through etc that's a hell of a red flag.

The figures I've seen recently are 7% of women orgasm with a man during that couples first encounter. Imagine going into sex with 93% chance of no orgasm. I should hope I've made sure it's potentially worth my time and effort.

I made a comment about ex-mormen TikTok, maybe get her on that side of it if she has social media.

In the spirit of intersectionality, I suggest any person who can't shake the Polyamory propaganda to get themselves on the ex-morman side of TikTok and listen to those women survivors. I'm not ex-morman but the feminist backlash by droves of women leaving the LDS church and a large percentage of them coming out of polyamorous arrangements is enough to make me take notice and the abuse they encountered along with their sister wives is enough to make your skin crawl. Don't reinvent the wheel becau…

I saw a great video on this concept. Most other species on earth have evolved and survived because of female selection of strong mates and culturally in humans women have been attracted to their needs. When it was early civilization, that was strong muscular men. Fast forward it became men with resources and money. Today, it's the standards we set. Ever wonder why the vast majority of men around you are ugly, dusty, low value losers? We've only had the real power to choose men based on the needs…

Literally got rid of the man and got a kitten after not having one for 11 years (university years + relationship time). I scoop her shit out of a box and still feel it was an upgrade.

I put the dishwasher on once every couple of days and two loads of laundry a week and my unit is always tidy. Even getting a kitten didn't really give me more to do than I usually did. I just...have very little to do at home except relax.

Seperated since last September. Must be for a year to file for a divorce or it would have been done and dusted. I feel disappointed sometimes that I spent time in a relationship that took value from my life but very happy and relieved to be free to be getting ahead again in such a short amount of time. I was also lead to believe (by society to be clear) I would be 'damaged goods' and no one wants a woman who is 30 and divorced already because there must be something wrong with those women. Umm w…

This is why I didn't change my name after marriage. Was seperated before I finished my first year of teaching. Imagine the next 30-40 years having his last name be the name my students know me by. No thank you.

Or worse, she has another man's kids and therefore 'belongs' to him. Yuck yuck yuck I didn't even like typing that even if it's true that they think that way.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/05/21 08:26 PM

In QLD Australia you have to be seperated for 12 months before you can apply for divorce. This absolutely needs to change. It's not fair that people are forced by law to be stuck in this limbo stage. We are having a huge spotlight thrown into the issue is DV against women because of high profile cases but no real change is happening.

I think it could be a survival tactic for women caught in abusive relationships. Can't get screamed at later for being an ungrateful bitch if you didn't ask for much of anything right? It's definitely the wrong tactic, and I don't know the exact name for it, but it's the 'you didn't give me anything so you're not owed anything' kind of mindset. Very sad when women feel so devalued like that. And then it becomes learned behaviour in later generations.

He's displaying maladaptive behaviours that are potential precursors to violence. I will quote this article to any women who ever has a partner who keeps asking where they are every few minutes. I found a lot of correlation between the hardlines of FDS rules and the predictors in general but yes the drinking one was very much an eye opener. I've never been with a drinker but have seen other women go through those cycles mentioned in the article and have always felt 'yuck' about it. Meanwhile, it feels like other people just brush it off and see it as a bad stereotype. 'Who tf would do what you do on TikTok' Is old mate Jordan just completely unaware that beauty influencers and make up artists on social media platforms is a thing? And that they not only generate income from views but build entire empires through products and sponsorship? I swear it's one thing to not be 'into' the same things as women but to be completely unaware of an entire industry that is worth billions is just insane.

I've also experienced men in particular put down the expertise of women in humanities based fields because of this. If a man (or anyone) with a master's in a STEM field says something, then obviously that's an expert's opinion/advice/knowledge. I've worked on community projects with a master's in applied theatre studies and have literally had men and others argue with me over stuff that most people would learn in grade 10 drama classes. From a 2015 article: 'Daniel Craig recently did an interview with Red Bulletin for his upcoming 007 film, Spectre. At one point, the reporter Rüdiger Sturm asked Craig about Bond becoming more chivalrous with his love interests. From there, the reporter proceeded to make a rude remark about actress Monica Bellucci's age. "And this time you’ve gone one better, showing 007 succumbing to the charms of an older woman." You know, because Bellucci is a whopping four years older than Craig in real life…

The age gap thing still has a long ways to go in society in general so I'm not surprised when people in celebrity land aren't across it when it is just so common to have incredibly older men date and marry young women is considered a norm in those social circles.

I'm sorry, I couldn't let this one go. My students are learning about the effects of social media currently and statistically speaking 9/10 young people don't tell someone when they receive an abusive, hurtful or grooming message because of the shame they feel having RECEIVED a message from someone else. Chrissy admits that the video is creepy but then says it's tacky to share it? Nah sis. Creepers wanna creep, they can find out what happens when everyone knows they are one.

You will know your own history with him. Is he just love bombing you to pull you back in? An offer of a vacation is not a vacation. Best behaviour only happens when they know it will get them what they want. Are you enamoured with what he could be as opposed to the reality, which is what he had already shown you? If he wanted to, he would have (the first time).

To give you some perspective on the rent prices, I rent an hours drive from Brisbane because I can't afford to live there by myself (I also purposefully don't work there either lol but I'm happy where I am) and it's $300 a week. So $944 minus $600 for decent accommodation within travel distance leaves someone with a grand total of $344 a fortnight for everything else. It happens regularly as there are lots of crows around the school cawing outside the windows, general classroom chatter and school noises and I'm happy to say I've only ever had to tell a student that once in a class and it's been picked up by the others. One of the things to remember about this group is that firstly, we work on making ourselves queen's who don't need to rely on a male companion to take care of us or to fulfill us. While many women are definitely drawn to the idea of companionship, myself included, we have to accept that being alone with our awesome selves is better than being with a LVM or a man who doesn't give 100%. Sorry sis just noticed this was all part of your thread. If you read my comments on Glasser above and how it fits with FDS, after asking 'What do they have to gain from doing this?' the next question is 'Did their actions get them what they want?'. OR, in individual counseling we would ask 'Is what you are doing getting you what you want?'. This is why the FDS Block and Delete at an immediate misstep is crucial. If a behaviour works one time in getting someone what they want, it goes in their 'b…

Depends what need is being fulfilled or they feel they need to fulfill. So your ex may have been trying to (in the worst possible way) fill a power need. Some men, it's fun (bangmaid, pick up and leave mentality) Glasser behaviour theory teaches that there are five key needs that drive behaviour: Love and Belonging, Fun, Power, Freedom and Survival. (Based on tenancy rules where I am from:) When you move into a new rental, it's expected that the carpets are professionally done as is the pest control and the place is clean to move in. If it is not done or clean to standard, you can request the real estate to rectify it at the owners expense. Therefore, the work should be done BEFORE you move in with a man at his expense.

Just know that there are many different professionals out there that you can seek help from to intervene in this situation. I myself have cousins who are abusive drug addicts that don't have custody of their kids and it only took me the last couple of years to…

The parents need to be reported ASAP even if it's just for hitting their children. The other stuff can sometimes be less concrete with reporting but any type of spanking or hitting is wrong and in many places illegal. Even if it's not illegal, you should still report it all as part of a list of concerning things. Can I ask how old you are?

Yes, the hair debate is also an issue here and it mostly comes up from private schools. Hair traditions varies from culture to culture and as a public school that embraces diversity and indigenous perspectives the only rules surrounding hair are natural colours and safe for the school activity your performing (so tied back during contact sports and certain science prac classes). We also have students with traditional tattoos and they don't need to cover them or adjust their uniform in any way. H…

I was thinking this the other day! A man who can just send flowers at the wave of a hand is not showing as much effort as the tradesman running his own business working 12 hours a day who still goes ten minutes out of his way to get flowers. Effort is not a finite criteria and should be weighed up based on how much he has to go out of his way to do what he can to please you. I've had uni students, apprentices and baristas (in my late teens days when I was a poor student myself!) all pay for dinn…

The policing of women's bodies and especially WOC's bodies is absolutely based on white Western standards. I know of a school in my local area where all staff members in teaching and non-teaching roles have to comply with a strict no visible tattoo policy. While it is a private school and it can do what it wants, that immediately eliminates men and women from indigenous populations who have traditional tattoos on their hands, legs, feet and arms. I don't have these tattoos yet but I would like t…

High value items are priced at such because sometimes they are an investment for future returns. A good pair of shoes that last will cost money. The amount you spend in the same amount of time wearing cheaper, less comfortable, less fashionable shoes that you need to keep buying is sometimes more than of you just got the good pair to start with. Men totally understand the concept when it is literally anything else they are interested in and will drop big cash on their gaming, jewellery, shoes, c…

Thank you for including this update, as more details were being released it became clear that they did have some nefarious items in their possession. The initial reports on why more force wasn't used to stop them was because they could only use equal force in return. As unorganised as they were, it seems they knew exactly what boundaries to push to ensure they didn't just immediately get the full force brought upon the immediately. Definitely don't sign the one they hand you without legal advice but I would initiate a pre-nup if I ever married again and it would basically outline that if the marriage was ended because of infidelity or abuse (of any form) I'm walking away with a fair compensation for my time wasted with them. The author may have been purposefully careful not to use the word 'stereotype' in the article but that's what is really being discussed here. While the word stereotype does have negative connotations (and rightly so) stereotyping is the oldest form of generalisation by human beings and has and is used sometimes as a way to predict and avoid danger. In simpler times and places this was as simple as 'People from tribe A hate people from my tribe, so I should avoid them'. While the concept of stere…

Translation and context are the most important factors in understanding biblical texts but it is often glossed over because fundamentalist take literal word for word understandings of each individual verse. Interestingly, the word 'submit' is apparently not the closest translation of the word that is used in those passages. From what I have read in articles, the original Greek word used is probably closest to the concept of 'equal status' and when Paul uses the same word to talk about how Christians should treat the people they are preaching to, it's understood that they should have an attitude of listening to others, understanding them, empathizing with them and being kind and helpful. Yes, I've been wary even of the 'biodegradable' labelled ones. I didn't want to TMI everyone but I'm trialling a homemade spray that you just spray onto good quality toilet paper before using and it's so far going well. But the flushable wipes or baby wipes can be used and discreetly disposed of in the regular trash much like what menstruating women do with their sanitary products on a regular basis.

Besides the obvious that others have mentioned, a contributing factor is also a poor diet low in fibre. Generally a good diet with a healthy amount of fibre will ahem give a bowel movement that needs less cleaning. Also, you can buy flushable wet wipes and you can buy and install a removable bidet for about $25 if there are ongoing health issues. Remember, if he wanted to he would have. I'm aware that biblically that description wasn't exactly meant for dating and I'm not a Bible basher but I've always liked that line.

Never date a man who agrees with spanking children or animals. Much like how FDS uses research and science to show how we do not accept porn use and pornography in relationships, the research and science against corporal punishment is overwhelming and there is no argument or excuse left for anyone to still be doing this. A HVM should be capable of giving 100% to child rearing and this includes being knowledgeable about as much as they can in terms of effective child rearing. If he insists there'…

She must be aiming for the bottom end of healthy which, for example, someone like me would be 45 kilos (90ish pounds?). I'm part Polynesian, there is no way I'm going to get to 45 kilos unless I literally let muscle mass waste away. I just find it bizzare that women can be healthy and perfectly fine but still be so self conscious while stuck in Louis/Peter Griffin or Marge/Homer Simpson couplings. Edit: The dieting is probably not working because she doesn't need to lose anymore weight, or she h…

Not that I read too much into BMI's since they aren't the be all and end all, but how does a BMI of 28 equal 30lbs overweight? My BMI is much higher, and I know I'm quite short but if I lost 30lbs/15 kgs I'd comfortably hit my entire long term weightloss goal. I bet she is a perfectly healthy and comfortable weight and that trash bag is negging her down.

Right? I've loved turning 30! I started my career this year and I didn't look out of place with the other graduates at all. Several times I had colleagues stop me to ask if I was reeeeally 30 because I have just always taken care of myself (plus blessed genetics). I did not look out of place with the 22-25 year old graduates at all. I found it great to be like an older sister to them since early career teaching can be stressful and I am just a little bit more older and wiser to the world.

His approach to 'bad behaviour' (in his opinion, not mine) is to create a punishment which takes away women's dignity and creates a situation of abuse conditioning and control. FDS approach is to block and delete when bad behaviour happens and let these clowns go on their merry ways. How are we the bad guys again?

We need to get cradle snatcher back into use for older gross men who chase younger women to really drive the point home that they are chasing women who were in the cradle when they were already sexually mature.

I noticed that the 25 yo's looked reasonably like that age group and it's the creep in the early 30's when you see the changes and I don't think it's men necessarily lying about their age. I've woken up after a fun in day the pool and an early bed time where I've forgotten to put on moisturiser and I have myself a fright the next morning. I think it's mostly years of no sunscreen, no moisturiser/skin care routine and unhealthy drinking and eating. It hits anyone hard come the early thirties if t…

GLASSER questioning is a good method. I use it for behaviour management for students and it's about reflecting on choices. The first question is also some variation of 'What are you trying to achieve here?' 'What is it you want to get out of doing (action)'. It's about understanding people's motivations, values and what is driving their behaviour and asking them to reflect on whether their actions are getting them what they want (A loving, real relationship in our cases).

The word count should be at least the same as if I was an employer at an interview and asked 'Why should my company hire you?' It should also focus on what he brings to the table and shared values etc. If I was hiring and he said 'I'm just a regular guy looking for something' I wouldn't entertain that person much longer.

I've tried searching for a study from a prestigious university I read earlier in the year that had that number up to 95% for men when you included criteria such as using soap, washing with said soap for 20 seconds and hand drying. I need to bookmark it if I ever come across it. Interestingly, it 'feels' like your being a hard arse when you start needing to put your foot down because I think women are conditioned to be nice, caring, and 'not a bitch'. But the students respect me more when they know without a doubt where the line is drawn and that consequences follow bad behaviour. It also makes students (and people) feel safe because the lines are black and white and your reaction to certain behaviours is predictable. They know what they need to do when they communicate…

When you set high expectations for people you show respect for them and for yourself. It's an education behaviour management tool at the most basic level and when I get pushback from students about the rules I explain to them that I respect them as people and I won't accept low effort towards their own education. Applying this mentality to FDS dating standards, we are showing more respect towards ourselves, men and other relationships in our lives by setting expectations and standards.

I just read the entire thread and I think I have everything in context. What's important to try and pinpoint is the motivation for behaviours especially if the daughter is initiating behaviours. She may be trying to gain more attention from her father in an unhealthy way, relying on methods she knows/thinks will gain the attention of men but not grasping what is appropriate in a family setting. It is most definitely up to the parents to explain these boundaries and look for ways to fill the need…

He's also a hugger with us kids but not anyone else and he's certainly hugged us publically. I wouldn't sexualize hand holding out of context, I often hold my close female friends hands when we have girl dates out as well.
