Excellent points and all very true. Especially the last quote. It's posts like this why I read this sub. The truth isn't out there, it's here. I've lived it.

I have the exact same BMI and similar build , and I think being 125-130 is my ideal weight. 10 left to lose. Go with what you feel best at. As long as you pass the boner test who cares.

That's easy to say of you aren't dealing with an addict. 16 years isn't throwing in the towel on commitment. Some problems you just can't fix.

He did criticize what I was drinking on his way out. I had no clue what he was talking about and looked around confused as he walked out the door. Then the bartender puts an upside shot glass down that represents a drink credit, and says a dude bought me a drink. I said who, looking around. He goes, the guy that just left. Yeah, that's nice, but pointless and if he complains about not getting laid, that is pathetic.

Well, I know trp isn't an even playing field. It's up to you if you feel loss of trust, as she did not sleep with the guy (if you believe that...she has to be feeling guilty about something or why even bother telling you now). Tough one. She likely didn't disclose out of insecurity of losing another chance to be with you. Depends how much you are willing to look past this and use it to any advantage to scare her in to place and keep her there.

This was 2.5 years ago when you guys were on/off dating and happened to have been off for a few months. Is that correct?

Talk to your doctor, there may be a lower dose pill or option that can be a middle ground.

Get attacked by a "friendly" unprovoked 8yr old female pitbull in a public space and have your 20lb cavalier spaniel ripped from your arms and get bitten up like heck yourself, many injuries, dog almost died, and then see how you feel. They snap. 2 just killed a 3 day old baby in California this week.

In the NE it's harder to look good and get VitD half the year. I use lotions to protect my face and sensitive areas. I also keep my exposure limited. During the summer months like now, I hit the pool no more than an hour at a time with screen. I grew up in Sofla and know about sun damage, so I've found a happy compromise.

I'm actually seeking a new obgyn because she got fat in the year since I last saw her. If she can't take care of herself, I don't trust her to take care of me. Sad too, she delivered my baby.

Omg nothing irritates me more than people who try to justify obesity, call their pets fur babies, or say that "pitbulls are great family dogs".

Talk to your primary care doctor about anxiety. They can prescribe you medication that also helps depression and anxiety. Give it a few weeks and see how you feel. Good luck.

Threads like this are why I love this sub. Loving and ruthless at the same time without being judgemental. Good luck to OP. In my experience, it is very hard to sustain a lasting commitment when "sharing" is acceptable. In the end someone always feels emotionally abused or experiences a lowering of esteem. If he let you be with other men, it would hurt that he doesn't value you enough to want to own you.

Documentaries: making a murderer, the central park five, the jinx, the staircase. Movies: enders game, new star trek, get hard, insidious, the conjuring, tropic thunder, the great outdoors. I like comedy, crime, horror and scifi so grain of salt. Shows... game of thrones, house of cards.

My goal is to lose 5lbs by exercising and cutting more simple carbs and sugar out of my diet, as well as exercising. I want to tone up my abs and round out my bum. 50 squats a night and 5 mins of various planks daily. Spin 5-8 mile twice a week. Tan no less than twice a week. And get more feminine summer clothes.

I disagree. Guys like both looks on a woman who can pull it off. Curly sometimes, straight at others. If you do perm straightening you can use a curling iron when requested. Or if you are natural you can use an iron or straightener to get that effect. Versatility is the key here.

Sometimes I write it out, rephrase, frame context and memorize and then find the right time to bring it up. This helps keep me from coming off bitchy or saying it off tone.

I am in a similar situation. 39 together 16 years, married 12 and haven't been single since 22/23. Divorced due to his alcoholism. On advice of RPW ( on a blog I read ) I'm taking a year to myself to heal, research what went wrong and what I really want, and working on my femininity - working out, clothes, nails, hair, tanning and skin. Building myself into the kind of woman I want the kind of man I want to be attracted to me is my goal. I get hit on and politely decline all the time. It feels g…

So long as it's not a thyroid problem or depression, exercise, hobbies and interests to keep you active ... like cooking classes or "try a new recipe every night" streak can help you stay motivated and therefore have more energy to do the things that you want to do.

I'm trying to lean more towards a ketogenic diet, reducing sugar and carbs big time. Sticking to only complex carbs where applicable as much as I can.

I am in a sense, but it is because I'm going through a divorce (was married 12 years, together 16). It would be unhealthy to try to pursue any type of relationship at this point in time. I am taking the next year or so to work on my emotional, physical, and mental health, as well as learning about what went wrong, and forging and fostering positive friendships.

Well I am cooking only for myself but I'm not slacking on quality last night I made a filet mignon pan-seared with blue-cheese butter green beans and cherry tomatoes sauteed with olive oil and garlic and sauteed mushrooms. This week I plan to make shepherd's pie and panko encrusted ranch infused parmesan chicken.
