Wow. This is a really insightful point about equality in the workplace and it's something I've never seen mentioned in thousands of conversations regarding gendered economic structure. Thank you.

Lol. Ok guy. I'm not going to argue semantics with you and it doesn't matter to me if you think I "look like an idiot". I try not to let people's shitty attitudes - dictate my mindset or behavior. It's obvious that you don't feel like you're treated fairly... because of your gender... and you're using that as justification to write off "society". It's a really common mindset and it's incredibly toxic. I'm sorry that you feel the need to belittle me - for trying to point that out to you. Maybe yo…

I'll do good things for myself that affect me in a positive manner, while you're out making the world a better place. How about that? Like I said... it's your prerogative to be selfish (or not care about bettering humanity)... you just don't get to blame other people - for your willful decision to act like a child; instead of an adult. If you don't like people commenting on it... don't bring it up on a public discussion board.

only stick to doing the things that benefit me directly. That means you're a shit person, in my book. I'm sorry you "can't handle" that assessment. Try volunteering some of your time to help people in need... and then get back to me. Good people do things that affect other people... in a positive manor.

lol. I wish I knew how to respond to this with anything other than disdain and bewilderment. That's the most deluded rationalization for planned selfishness that I've ever heard. "It's ok for me to be a shit person because other people might be shitty to me". You want to complain about a problem while doing nothing to help improve the situation. What bunch of bitter and sensationalized bs. Be a shitty person if you must... but accept responsibility for your choices... you don't get to be an enti…

If you were actually interested in having your view challenged - you would try to think of one (or a few) yourself. Off the top of my head - divorce proceedings. Edit: Also - most rape accusations are not "anonymous" by any stretch of the imagination.

Lol. Ok dude. Your assumption of my attitude and stance on a complex and somewhat personal topic - is one type - of the "victimized" overreaction - I was talking about. To me - it's not a "movement" it's a basic recognition that men have certain problems because of their gender... just like women do. If anything - I advocate for the egalitarian rights movement.

How many women are? I don't know. I certainly believe dudes lie for revenge purposes. It probably depends on exactly how victimized the individual feels. I don't see a lot of value in trying to discern who's doing it more and to what degree. The problem is the complete externalization of sub-par experiences. It's really shitty behavior - any way you slice it. People don't owe you sex... and an unfulfilling sexual encounter - is not rape. My generation is really shitty at taking responsibility fo…

You're not wrong. It's where the "nice guy" meme comes from. Dudes feeling victimized for being rejected; rather than accepting that you can't control other people's actions... that they have a lot of introspection to do... and problematic personal/social attributes to work on. Being accepting of faults and weird traits is not the same as having strong social awareness and positive peer interactions.

Too many comments without any information about who he actually is. responding to yours for visibility. A modest proposal? It's much more engaging to actually provide the information before commenting on who has it or not.

It's not pervasive anywhere but popular internet forums and office settings. You're mistaking multiple examples for a high percentage of examples...

Your problem is that you "want to start a conversation" but you're trying to do it with teenage girls who don't even have their driver's licenses yet... You seem like a pretty intelligent kid, perhaps you can understand that 95 percent of these kids viewpoints are not their own? Personal attacks are really the only way uneducated people (understand to) discredit any advanced notions. Your classmates aren't "radical" they're just severely underinformed. Most of these kids haven't even begun to re…
