(Not british, but european here): Yes.. It would actually be the consequence here, a fine and loss of points in the drivers license (depending on the numbers.. In my country, over 1.2 grams per litre in the blood, it is considered "criminal" to drive, so your license is out and you go to court for that offense). I had it (late 90's) as part of "Natural Sciences" (a discipline that agregated various scientific knowledges, as introduction to "specific" disciplines later on. Class had around 12/13y.o. It was very scientific, and (without realizing where the program was going) I now know it started as "how flowers reproduce" (the principles of polinization, etc,etc,etc), then, later on, a module about "human reproduction" where some concepts we already knew applied, but with new knowledge about the reproduc…

Uhm.. Your logic fails a bit. Some countries/continents have it (like Europe, where people do buy new fenders, but use it ilegally) and the US (wherr you can use an aftermarket with no problems. Again, the brand puts that originally because fits the two markets (legally) and they save some (leave the spending for the final-client, if they want).

A chinese piece of cr*p I crashed and converted to a "let's take this b*tch to the (rough) sand"-bike. Being a 125cc, I do like to use it as a pseudo-hooligan bike, too ... and a 1991 Kawasaki ZZR600 that is used to actually ride for long distances (some work to make it comfy-er). It's also used to (learn how to) do wheelies. Edit - Work/maintaining the old lady is also something I really enjoy. CBR's.. only tried an F4i ... Very nice, solid ride!

Man, I do agree we should have a clean page. I thank you (and all the ones helping) to keep it real. But ... If they win (and we know they wil, the same way they won big media) we will be in the shadows, we will be the anonymous saboteurs that will rejoice in their failure to sweep us away. Get a "Excel table" and pick the names of those who go on each weekend. Make sure it is exposed in the department (for them and for bosses). (Don't be that guy who just makes it.. make that table "oficial" by some way. Like.. "just a guide" or "managing help" .. you know companies love that stuff and people get a bit of awareness that their excuses suck. If not, use it on your favor. I wrecked my 125cc (and my left knee and foot in the process). Had a lot of fun learning (how to rebuild it), then rebuilding it.
