This is why I gave up on helping women.

Saw a woman fall flat on her face in the street the other day (she was wearing high heels that she clearly had no mastery over). She slammed into the ground, with a hard slap. My firm routinely has mandatory work functions. They are always at night and alcohol is always present. The women (married & single) like to get sloshed and be overly affectionate. . .

I dont drink, ever, at these functions. I usually get behind the bar table and serve drinks. That way I am seen not drinking and I have a physical barrier between me and my female coworkers.

I never say my goodbyes anymore. I just excuse myself to to go to the bathroom and leave. Why? Because too many times I have had drunk women try and solicit a ride home. I am sober and have my car there, and they know it. No way in hell am I risking my work & reputation over a false allegation.
