Most of my tech is in the last decade is by Apple, and i bought AirPods Max this week, but i still do a comprehensive research every time i buy a product. Can't trust any company anymore. Back stabbed by Google, BMW and quite a few others. 5.11 pants though. The only brand of everyday pants i buy. Don't even buy them often, they last a long time.

I'm a loyal Jimmy Joy customer, never tried any other suppliers. Powdered food is not for everyone, but i got used to it and appreciate benefits. It made me quit soda, alcohol, fries etc. I still consume fast food recreationally, but i always take smallest meal possible, prefer chicken, tea or water instead of soda. My body doesn't crave greasy foods, but fast food is a social experience

Massive queues every day are not media. Basic business strategy of publicly traded pharma companies are not media. Lost profits due to minimum wage workers being sick for months is not media. Correlation of vaccine availability and stock market rallies are not media. There are many ways to prove virus is bad and vaccines are good. Follow the money.

Electric vehicles go bonkers. In 2018 a 500W skateboard was considered good, now in 2021 unicycles are 2000-2500W nominal and peak at over 10kw. That's more most 125cc motorcycles, the device has one moving part, weights under 40kg and is the size of a briefcase. One more battery tech upgrade and gasoline motorcycles will be outperformed in urban environment. It's so exciting to watch the new class of vehicles stomp over literally centuries of ICE tech evolution

I've spent a good half a decade learning to treat myself, understand what makes me happy, how to feel good solo. I'm yet to perfect this skill. There's indeed a slim margin between what men do/buy to feel great, and what's perceived by society as a mating call. Every man appreciates a good vehicle. Every man wants a nice place to spend an evening after a busy day. Every man wants to have some physical activity. Should we abandon these pleasures just because someone else considers it simping? As far as i'm concerned you're contradicting yourself. I don't see any point of relationship where, i'm quoting you, "contract that will spell out how many times a day your wife should suck your dick". This is exactly the plantation MGTOW are trying to escape and you suggest flipping the sides of the conflict instead of leveling the playing field

Why would you spend time and money on traditional islamic women? I'm genuinely curious, why would you want to shackle yourself to a woman indoctrinated to be a glorified dishwasher? I guess everyone has their own ideas of what MGTOW is, but this POV i cannot understand

I don't support your political views but as an engineer i find this issue fun to think about. It could be that these kinds of separatist communities will be safer on Russia and China owned social networks like VK and WeChat. Both are encrypted from your device to service vendor, so US government can't intercept contents of your messages to gain evidence, and both aforementioned countries basically hate US so at the very least will not care about group political views

Didn't quite understand the question. A well scaled solar array would be capable of powering factory at full production capacity, but any production bottleneck can result in reduced power consumption, and that solar array needs to dump electricity somewhere. Connection to the grid is bidirectional - it allows both buying and selling power, and recently legal infrastructure across europe was adjusted to allow homeowners with solar roofs to do the same thing i explained - to sell excess power and …

Any source of power needs a destination. The best case - overproduced power will be gracefully wasted. The worst case - the source or destination will induce fireworks. Connecting Gigafactory to the grid makes sure any excess electricity can be siphoned out, and even result in additional source of revenue.

Men here in the comments already mentioned most of the good things to know, but i have one more thing to share. When you're buying a thing, and it's not for making more money easier, but purely for entertainment or comfort - consider fun per dollar, total cost of ownership and resale value. tl;dr and case in point: buy an old cheap motorcycle, have fun learning basic maintenance, have fun learning to ride and not worrying about dropping it, sell for the same price you bought it.

/u/ShallowBayer18 could be right about shadowbanned users. I'm clearly not, because people reply to me. But random fluctuations can be explained from high load standpoint as well. If a system has multiple caches that have unsynchronized cache invalidation routines - reverse proxy could pick a different one for every subsequent request. I'm not defending this kind of engineering, but i've seen a lot of ugly code in production in my career
/r/MGTOW03/12/20 01:13 PM

Software engineer here. Reddit is a high load service, therefore non-essential information that's purely for dick measuring, which upvotes essentially is, have throttled cache refresh frequency. When you press a button, a request to recalculate the result of your action is queued, and your web browser will perform a UI update as a means of visual feedback. If you refresh a page, you may receive a result that was calculated after the previous page load, but before your upvote action was processed

Would you recommend a Vulcan for traveling? I'm considering older Gold Wing as they're equipped for long travel from factory, but Vulcans are cheaper and more abundant in my area

Learning to cook is not really necessary nowadays. I've been on powdered foods for more than 5 years now, and it's a great invention. Other chores aren't hard if you live alone

^ this. If you are low on energy, don't waste any trying to be productive. This is the best time to enjoy a hobby you'd otherwise write off as "unproductive". Play videogames, watch movies, read a book.

My content is family-friendly and i usually use non-commercial music, so i only researched as much as whether or not non-pornographic content is allowed on the platform. T&C mention consent of actors a lot, but you should DYOR on their views on hate speech. Discoverability could be an issue, i listed my trail riding in "solo male" and "toys" categories. Also, i could find a way to add a description to the video. But those drawbacks are nothing compared to blurry mess YT compressed forest foliage…

It's also an arguably better video hosting. After another one of my trail riding videos got wrecked by YouTube's compression i tried uploading it to PornHub just for lulz only to discover 720p on PH looks way better than 1080p on YouTube. I get more views than on YT as well. Well, i'm now a verified content creator on PH. Considering joining their model program to monetize the content.

Step 1: get into a male-dominant social hobby - MMO games, sports/gym, vehicle club (skate, motorcycles, old cars - doesn't matter) Step 2: realize how many men can't be in the company of like-minded men because they're in relationship There's no step 3

One of my "girlfriends" from blue pill days tried that. I told her she's wrong and went to hang out with my friend anyway. She was furious. Shortly afterwards i packed all her shit, but that story is even crazier.

Last year i chilled for 9 months on welfare and a bit of savings with pretty much no reduction of quality of life. Some people are batshit triggered when i tell that, even though they seem to be no dumber than me and could arrange their life to afford that.
