I feel that under these circumstances (you probably never seeing her again), that you should be honest and not try to disguise anything by not wanting to come off as needy.

If they are interested they won’t think it’s weird. Curious, how long has it been since you have last seen these girls?

Do you ever come in face to face contact with these girls anymore? If so, just start talking to them more and then gauge where their interest is. However, if you rarely/never see these girls in public anymore, the only thing you can do is message them even though it might be random. Just start off by asking how they have been/what they have been up to. From there, depending on their responses and interest, mention going out sometime.

I don't see anything wrong with what happened. She was at work and clearly busy, so you didn't have a great opportunity to talk to her.

No worries. I know that messaging can be pretty frustrating. Thing to remember is that if things don't work out it's not a big deal no matter how down/upset you might feel and try not to let it bother you too much. Also, in the event that she isn't interested, it's nothing wrong that you said/did, so don't worry about it.

Just a heads up, my answers here are solely my opinion (I'm no expert). However, texting is always so difficult to tell what a girls intentions are. If she says not anytime soon, I would perceive that to be a lack of interest on her part. If she says June or something that is still pretty far away in time, I wouldn't be texting her to much until the closer it gets to her returning home. This is because messaging for a long duration of time without seeing each other in person is difficult to do a…

If I was in your situation, I would ask her when she is back home and done exams (I'm from Canada so I assume her schooling for the year is almost done if she is in uni/college). I would go with, "When are you back in town? Lets go out sometime." Or something along those lines.

Ask her out sometime if you haven't already. Even as a guy I get bored with messaging back and forth with a girl once it goes over 5-10 messages sent by each person.

I mean the women is asking the guy that.

You shouldn't base your investment in a girl off sex. If you really are interested in this girl, bad sex shouldn't be a deciding factor on whether or not you keep talking to her.

What’s up with the assumption that sex should be expected after a few dates? This is something that blows my mind in the current dating world.

The amount that a guy learns in experience from the first time talking to a girl to the next girl is unbelievable. I learned so much from the first girl I was talking to, to the next one and so on.

To add on to that. If a girl happens to stop talking to you over a minor thing that was said then that isn't someone you would want to be with.

Different women have different opinions. Take responding back through text. Some women want guys to respond quickly, while other women view it as “clingy” if they respond in a timely manner. It’s all subjective really.

No worries. I don't want to downplay the sub and some its information that can be valuable. At the same time, guys shouldn't be coming to this sub and thinking that whatever is said here is the be all and end all.

I'm more referring to subtle things that guys say that tend to be blown out of proportion on this sub.

Definitely agree on the constant barrage of texts/messaging and how it can come off as clingy. Overall I'm saying that a lot of what guys do doesn't really matter if the girl is interested. This of course being within reason. Like you said, you don't want to be texting them every five minutes.

I don't doubt that the sub has valuable information. I have even learned some stuff from it. What I mean is that there are some posts/comments that harp on the fact that a guy blew his chance with a girl either because he said something that was wrong or he didn't say something specific. More often the case, the girl simply just isn't interested in the guy and it's not for what he said/didnt say.

Exactly. As long as you don't say something completely over the top and ridiculous, it isn't going to be a big deal. You just have to be confident in what you say and not overthink it.

If you’re in this situation again, just ask her if she would like to go out. I know it can be a nerve wracking, but if you want to go out with her, you gotta ask.

Makes sense. I always think whenever I ask for a specific time, I box girls in and maybe they're busy at that specific time in the day. That's why I typically suggest a day and then once that is agreed, I tell the a specific time.

I agree with a lot of what you said, thanks. But she was the one who kept the conversation going. I didn't really want to talk about too much cause I like saving all the talk for the actual date. Also, I said "lets go out sometime this weekend or Monday." Or is that not specific enough?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
