Shit tests vs actual questions

I've seen this sub label the question, "what do you do for a living?" a shit test.

I think that would generally be classified as a "job interview question." These are the boring type of questions that boring guys ask women over and over.

If you mean, questions girls ask guys, I wouldn't call that a shit test either. It might be more of a qualification test, she's trying to get you to qualify yourself to her. You could skillfully DHV or clumsily boast.

A lot of what a shit test is, isn't in the content of the question, but the context, the environment, and intent.

If you're at a "mixer", that question isn't innocent, she's looking for a job.

If you're at nice cocktail party, and everyone is dressed better than you are, it's not a question, it's an attempt to put you in your place.

If she's been chatting with you for ten minutes and enjoying it, that question is a signal that she likes you.

Most of pickup is happening on those levels, reading between the lines because you're more socially savvy than the girl. Reading her body language, understanding the social context.

Most new guys just want to slam their dicks into any wet hole, so they don't pay attention.

But the girl has been talking with other girls about this stuff since kindergarten.

A shit test is meant to piss you off or test your frame.

Newbies respond either butthurt or ngaf. You should respond in a witty way or flip the script.

Shit tests are in your head and only exist in pick up because most guys who do pick up are full of shit.

The guys who get laid the most don't even know what shit tests are. Girls don't shit test us, they ask of questions based on the exterior we put out. If you're interior is not aligned with your exterior that question is a shit test, if it is aligned then, its a question.
