both leaving the gym This; basically before she's started her workout or after (and let her catch her breath on the after)

Some girls just flat out will not sleep with a guy on the first date; it's a comfort thing from her perspective -- no matter what you or any guy does. I am sure I'll get a reply on all the additional things you could've done to get by the LMR, which includes some risk, but if your goal is to see her again I would say this is an overall success. It seems that you remember a lot about her, which you can reference in your next upcoming date. The whole date sounds pretty solid, I wouldn't dwell much…

"Maybe you've been dating the wrong type of guy" You can either then follow that up with teasing her on her taste in 'bad' men and how "it makes sense because I'm totally like that" or "it's good to see you're finally make a change" (implying dating you), depending on the type of girl she is and depending how you feel like playing the situation. You don't have to be all hard-assed hardliner like some of these other comments. It may just be she's not complaining to you and just speaking aloud and…

Girls are allowed to be flakes/messes; men are supposed to be consistent and put together. But don't forget, we're still equal in every regard. Right SandbagsSteve?

I always read my texts but harldy ever respond to them instantly, and sometimes I forget to This. And don't tease her for not responding; that comes off as desperate - you just met. If you all end up hanging out don't bring it up, if she's mildly into you she'll bring it up herself and give you <generic excuse>. with 'wating' I mean approach other girls and try to get more numbers Yes. Don't forget, if she's really attractive it's likely she has many draws on her attention. She has no reason to …

If they're going to go on dates with me or be introduced to anyone in my life from friends to baristas I interact with regularly I hold them to a much higher standard. Somewhat non-sequitur, girls consistently fail to realize this. My standard for fucking vs. my standard for dating is pretty disparate. I'll still sleep with a girl who has a lot of red flags, but I won't date her. There have been girls that I felt were potentially 'dateable' going into it, but they ended up being bitchy/hung up o…

At least you realize that was your own doing. Sounds like you psyched yourself out in an attempt to "one-up" her. "Not cave to her frame"? Who cares, even on the remote chance she was thinking about it that much. Anyway, your TLDR is a good summation of what happened

You're not properly comprehending my point, and your argument is basically a red herring anyway. Different strategies for different sedditors, I suppose. Edit: hopefully puts you in her contacts with your name Thank you for proving my point

Worrying that calling her phone "might" look untrustworthy of her is also beta. Not what I was trying to imply. Obviously the real reason for calling her right there is to make sure she didn't give you a fake one. Implying that it's exclusively so "she isn't getting calls from unknown numbers" thinly veils the real reason and girls see right through that. I don't see how identifying yourself is beta? You're assuming she won't remember you and will have to remind her of your meeting. If that's th…

One point of contention I'll make - don't call the girl right there in front of her. I see this tactic a lot and I think it comes off as untrustworthy (you of her). If she gave you a wrong number to politely/unembarrisingly let you down, let that be what it is. All good points and my day game isn't the best so this was helpful.

"Agree and amplify" If it was a playful sarcastic tone I would go with something like "Totally in love. Ready for dinner tonight lover?" If it was dismissive sarcastic I would say something like "Hey at least I'm the one still trying to make this relationship work!" - Puts the onus on her that she's the shitty one

To an extent. Women still want to be cute/sexy in the guy's eyes. A better technique is to let her know you think she's sexy without using words.

I think what I'm trying to say is literally what you said in the first line -- don't beat yourself up over a girl you don't approach, provided you have a reason to skip on her :) If you're skipping out because you talked yourself out of it, then yea, that's bad. If you're in a rush, or seriously, on some days I'll see a cute girl at the store but I just want to get home from work and relax on my deck for a second. In other words don't kill yourself to talk to every woman ever... but yea, if it's…

Could be one of a million things. A girl I was dating with for 3 months just split with me because she "felt stressed and needed to figure herself out". They're emotional quagmires. She could genuinely mean that or she may want to just keep you on the line (read: put you in her beta-orbiter harem). If I were you, I would take that as it is and treat her as a friend. Talk about girls you're dating / want to date. If she genuinely just wants to be friends, she'll encourage you / try to help / offe…

Daygame is a different approach. I like to start off with small talk / very casually -- as if I was talking to literally anyone, not just a girl I want to date. If she continues talking to me for more than a mere 30 seconds, I'm in (insofar as I'll start making a real approach); immediately start escalating.
/r/seduction01/05/14 01:51 AM

I'm going to try and explain this properly: If you don't feel like approaching, don't. If you see a cute girl and want to talk to her, great! Do it. Just don't FORCE yourself to approach just because "it's a cute girl and therefore I must hunt". You'll get to the point where you'll pick and choose your approaches, and it'll eventually come naturally. I would recommend making small talk with strangers wherever you are -- in line at starbucks, picking up whatever at the grocery store. Whatever's o…

This feeling is called sexual tension; learn to embrace it -- learn to enjoy it. Part of pickup is learning to conquer and enjoy what you perceive as fear.

Must've missed this one. “you don’t get in the mood to go out, you go out to get in the mood” Personal preference, but I disagree with this. I like to already been in a good mood before I go out. That way, when I enter a bar/club, I'm smiling, I'm surveying the room, I'm owning the room. Eventually girls will sense your value and gravitate towards you as you aren't a creep like other guys ... Patience is a must as it usually takes a good bit of time. What do you do if this doesn't happen / takes…

people with questions looking for advice. Exactly. And while I have plenty of my own success stories, I feel the sub is somewhat becoming a constant rehash of itself. Maybe I've just absorbed most of what I need, but seriously, this has as many upvotes as this post. Really? That's where we're at? Seems like "we" the community have always shot for higher than that... how can we move forward if we're content with "everything went better than expected!!" ?

Hmm not sure that a date you already have counts... But as I specified if it's front page material then then gold is yours. One thing I realized after posting is I've learned a lot here but haven't been giving a lot back. I'm gonna correct that this weekend. If I fulfill my own requirement I'm buying the gold for myself. So yeah, it's on.

The fact that this is longer than two sentences is evidence you're over-thinking it. Just ask. "No" is the worst that could happen. "Yes" and the possibility of sexy times far out-weighs any negatives you've invented in your head. Edit: Seriously, what better opportunity to get to know her than at prom? This is a no-brainer. Otherwise it sounds like you're just going to focus on her all night until you get that dance. And then when it doesn't meet your expectations, it's going to ruin your night…

You didn't "escape" the friend zone at all. You are certainly free to spin it that way to make you feel better, but as you can read from other posts, that's not reality. It's you that's missed the point. Do you honestly believe this is how an alpha behaves? Has a hissy fit over his oneitis? Don't get me wrong, I'm not innocent and likely guilty of the same at some point. But what we're aspiring towards would have treated this situation entirely different. I can elaborate on how I would've done i…

Isn't #2 the only one that ultimately matters in deciding to approach? Presumably #1 and #3 impact #2 anyway? I'm just curious about the break out. Seems like a lot of thinking involved wherein you can talk yourself out of an approach. I think that's OP's point; do you want it or not?

Firstly, as is said a lot around here, assume attraction. Odds are if you spit game at her when you first met, you could've had her. But since you didn't pursue when you met, she probably figured you weren't into her, and considers you just a friend. You can change this. There are risks involved. It sounds like she really enjoys your friendship and trusts you a lot. Once you step over that boundary and she realizes you're interested, she may initially be resistant to it. Think of it this way - i…

Agree with some of this but disagree with #1 and the length of time in #3. If you make your intentions clear and obvious there should be no reason to ask her if she has a bf. That gives her the same escape avenue as your solid point mentioned in #2. "How do you KNOW she is in a relationship"- exactly why you don't ask. Even if she is, maybe she's in a shitty one and is looking to move on. Definitely agree on not texting the same day unless it's right in front of her to "make sure she has your nu…

When "shaking" her hand, once you grab her hand, instead of actually moving up and down, just clasp her hand, smile at her, and hold it for an extra second. If you're feeling confident, a.k.a. each time, lightly touch the bottom of her outstretched forearm with your other hand, as in clasp the bottom of her forearm like you're lightly supporting it. Somewhat close to the wrist, but not her wrist. No "shake" involved, instant keno, and it subtly informs her you're not here to only be her friend E…

I'm taking a girl out Thursday and will likely run into friends downtown. Is it best to introduce her as "this is <her name>", "this is my new friend <name>", "this is my hot date <name>"? I feel like the last option with a playful joking tone, maybe wrap your arm around her and bump into her would make both of us feel a little more at ease. Actually, I think I just answered my own question. That's what I'm doing

When you call a girl to set up a first date and she doesn't pick up, what's the best move? Leave a voicemail? Call the following day / text the following day?
