Amen dude. As someone who has been on seddit for several years, the OG shit of the past has all but vanished. It's god damn sad. I feel like a lot of people have abandoned the community and the new guys are floundering. This post has motivated me to F-Close this weekend and I will FR.

So..what exactly are you really getting out of seddit? If you think seddit is losing its focus then go do something about it or shut up. What do you expect? Solid gold advice all the time? You do realize that once you get the basics down it all about practice, re-adjusting, practice, repetition, practice. So who cares if someone is posting FR or whatnot. If you don't like it there are other pua forums.

I'm probably only a half-step above beginner, but you're right in that I've already moved past most of what is posted on here. I think that's just the nature of this "hobby" or whatever you want to call it. A little success is all most guys on here really care about because they are starting off with zero success. So people meet a few new girls, start dating one of them, and therefore no longer need this place. It's just how it is, I think.

Don't post too much on this subreddit, but the sidebar does say that AskSeddit is for beginner and specific questions. I have noticed that the front page of seddit has quite a bit of beginner and specific question posts (not all though let's make that clear). Maybe seddit could reformat a little to make this more apparent?

I like the feel good stories, but I agree that the constructive posts on seddit are solid and the focus should be on them.

To an extent I agree with you - there used to be many more high-value field reports (a la Tofu and others) which broke down the behaviors behind their success. However, more likely you (and I and many others) are starting to feel that's all the same, because really, it is. Aside from the odd post on counterintuitively successful tricks and tips to implement, I don't get much from this sub anymore, and that's okay.

What exactly are you looking for? Success stories from experienced people? Because I've got quite a few if you're really interested.

Most of what I read on here is just people with questions looking for advice.

There are over 150k people now. 5 years ago when I first joined it was maybe 5k people. The point is that you have over 100,000 noobs so this is bound to happen. We'll only get advanced material if more advanced guys post it.

I'd also check the new posts section rather than just the default 'hot' section. This is because some advanced posts may well not be very heavily upvoted because they go above noobs heads.

To YOU getting a number may not seem like a field report but try and express some empathy with the people who are trying to share their experience. Perhaps they started at a point where simply talking to a girl would leave them crippled in fear and now they were able to push themselves to the point of actually getting a number. That's HUGE.

Any step forward should be celebrated and cherished to some degree, pushing yourself to that next level is what this subreddit is about. F-Closing is only a small portion of the entire piece. I think it's you who has lost your focus.
